I love your channel. I started Nov. 20th. Down almost 20 pounds. Seeing what you eat. I'm so surprised you don't gain weight. If I don't stick with salads and a smoothie . Like say have a toco. I gain. Maybe I'm not as active. I work in a factory. I'm very busy moving around all day. Hmmm

Nope I am too! I am actually smack dab in the middle of an 84 hour prolonged fast! I oddly love watching Jackie's foodie videos during my prolonged fasts!
@irishlizzie I feel amazing. I have done them before. I actually do prolonged rolling fasts as my updated fasting routine, a bit more hard-core. I do 84 hour fasts once a quarter because when you pass the 72 hour mark, your entire immune system resets, your gut lining resets and heals, and you start growing new stem cells. It's a great way to prevent lots of illnesses! Jackie herself does quarterly 72 hour fasts! The fasting math for 84 hours makes better sense for my life :) I had to work up to them but I love them!
Yes you are eating delicious eating windows but did you loose weight eating like that in your eating window? Or did you eat more clean until you got to your goal weight and then became more flexible in the eating window for maintenance ?
Check out her videos about 4-5 years ago when she was just getting into this eating style. She recorded many videos like this one with what she’s eating. You will see that she pretty much eats then as she eats now; good variety, lots of whole foods, and dessert! When you get your mind out “I’m dieting” mode and flip into eating whole foods first, it does become more natural. Short eating windows of 1-2 hours regularly is the key as you spend more time in the fasted mode. God bless.

Great video. Hey - I wanted to comment re your VISION BOARDS you were making. I always keep a vision board. Ever since I watched the movie The Secret, Where they talk about the power of Positive Thinking, Projecting and Visualizing and how what you dream of can and will miraculously show up. I also watched Helen Hadsell, aka, the contest queen, who said she read Norman Vincent Peale's book, The Power of Positive Thinking. You know what. It really works. If it doesn't work all the time, then what you put on your vision board you didn't really want , so you didn't earnestly visualize, wholeheartedly. Helen says her SPEC system always works: SELECT IT, PROJECT IT, EXPECT IT, COLLECT IT. Best of Luck!!
