I like the Wouxun KG-UV8G. Made long range contacts with 42 inch Abbree antenna on 2m. I made contacts on the following repeaters from Basingstoke: GB3RD (19 miles) GB3AL (35 miles) GB3SN (9 miles)

Can you use the AH-705 tuner with the AL-705 magnetic loop antenna? Does the manual tuner have to be removed from the mag loop?
