- Richard Hammond is at a rally school, learning how to be a rally driver and has only 3 days to prepare himself for a competition, where he'll be competing against experienced drivers. His instructor is Peter Gwynne and his rally machine is a Nissan Micra.
As a German I can confirm: downhill on the Autobahn a 75hp Micra K11 will do around 180kmh
Which is around 105mph and feels like 500mph in a micra
There is no K11 with 65hp. There's the 1.0 with 54hp or the 1.3 with 74hp. Given my own experiences with the K11, I think you're talking about the 1.3 75hp. Though there is a K12 with a 1.2 64hp, that is so far apart from the K11 both in time and looks that I don't find it likely anyone would confuse the two.

cuz if you put the micra in a stand and rev 5th all the way it can eheheh xD
at first glance a Nissan micra is a granny car or at least something that you shouldn't really be to bothered about but the more you look into it the more you find out that its actual a really good and customisable car!
It's an awesome little car.
I heard off a mechanic saying there deadly in crashes. He even said pointing at them saying there like tin cans, he was baffled why they were so popular instead of MG ZF's and Ford Puma's
+I'mEverywhere yeah and they are super easy to tip. i ended up sideways with mine when doing a handbreak turn. luckily my mate wore a seat belt or else he would have crushed me. we just tipped it back and nothing was broken except one mirror, and there was some oil in the airfilter

cris rose hahaha we was messin around on a grasfield taking handbreakturns. The wheels dug themselves to the ground that the rims caught a grip, so the car suddenly stopped while being sideways making it tip. we even took a picture before tipping it back, i can send it to you if you want. it looks hilarious
K11 is such a sleeper
u can say alot, but a micra is pretty fast and very strong for its size :)

i love micras got a convertable sport one a month ago and it cant half shift!. had a big hilux pick up truck for 12 years before that lol
tracy fun Just drove a K11, that thing hit like 80mph+. Fun car. Only negative thing is the rock hard suspension, but I guess the gocart feeling is enhanced. lol

Why's it left hand drive. I thought K11 Micras were very popular in Britain and Ireland as well. Unless they didn't make rally Micras in the UK but despite all this I'm just confused on why it's left hand drive.
I know this might be a bit late, but i think this is a European model, england produced the micra for Europe and for some reason they convertes a eu model for drifting
