Oh my god...the tenor is so beautiful..transparent like autumn air, vibrating subtly at the very edge, moving like gentle hand touching your cheek.....that long note and wave-like passage between lines are killing me. I have no idea how this became possible by human voice. I mean, Everyone here is wonderful, it's a gorgeous performance throughout, but it was Johannes Kaleschke's singing that lit my heart with the warmest afterglow.....I feel like my soul newly woke up after a long sleep.
Even by the standards of Bach's Cantatas, the soprano aria at 21:37 is exquisite and radiates a sort of other-worldly beauty at times. I'd like to express my gratitude to the performers and those who have shared this remarkable recording.

Great recording. I especially like Johannes Kaleschke's performance -- I did not know him before. He appears to sing effortlessly and with great restraint and taste. I feel in a very good way reminded of the great tenor Peter Schreier, who was also great as a Bach tenor.

Le mieux serait de vous rendre à Trogen (canton d'Appenzell Rhodes-Extérieures) et d'y entendre in situ la musique de Rudolf Lutz.. Mais aussi à Leipzig pendant les Bachfesttage...qui ont lieu chaque année. Ant.
La 36 es una de las más bellas cantatas de Bach. La oquesta y coro de Lutz, escuetas en su número y plena de ambiente barroco, alcanzan el cenit de la belleza. El aria de soprano con violin y bajo con órgano y cello es insuperble. Contrapunto perfecto. La española Nuria Rial, soberbia; es un gozo espiriual escucharla y ver su elegancia. El volinsta muy bueno. Gracias Lutz, eres un grande entre los pocos grandes directores de Bach.

Wonderful, as all Bach's works they play and sing. These videos are a true joy for all Bach’s cantatas lovers that cannot be present at that amazing performances, and furthermore have not money enough to purchase the records.

Superb playing and balance. The church acoustics are amazing. I thought they had been enhanced till i saw the pics on the church exterior. Its nearly cathedral sized.

Wonderful of course, but I'd prefer to hear the short phrasing in the accompaniment executed with greater subtlety in flowing rather than such a dry, overly-detailed context. That said the violnist in the soprano aria was absolutely superb, as was the soprano, herself.

Technically an excellent recording - just look at the number of microphones. The performance was wonderful as usual: soloists superb. I don't think Bach ever had such good performers at Thomaskirche.
