I'd be curious to know what the decibel rating is at idle, half throttle and full with your setup, then compare it to stock. Based on your mic and past videos, I think it's probably too loud for me but sounds really cool. I live and ride in the city so neighbors plus I don't want to be that guy waking up people blocks away. 🤣 You're adding downforce with your mirrors folded. 😆
Haha, let’s call it my “country road setup” I don’t think it is as loud as the Triumph but not on the quiet side for sure. I would pass if you like your neighbors … lol I get a db reading when I am back home and post it in the community tab.
Yep, as awesome as it sounds (and great for when you are having a go), this config is too noisy/aggressive for me. Maybe some baffle inserts would tame it.
@@MrBenHaynes this is indeed the most aggressive combo, either the factory muffler or a slip on with db killer will quiet it down. You will lose some of the deep rumble, but that is about it.
I am doing a track day in May and hope that they offer a suspension setup service. From the factory it seems ok for the street albeit on the firm side. I played with the manual adjustment in the back and the bike does not seem to like the softer setting. The rear felt twitchy to me. I hold judgement until I get it dialed in properly for my weight.
Are you satisfied with the matte paint on your Moto Guzzi? How does it perform compared to glossy paints on other motorcycles? Matt collects scratches a lot? It is difficult to remove insects and stains from it?
Hey there! So far it has been holing up and no issues with scratches or insects. Since this bike is military themed, it fits the character of the bike very well. I use chemicals specifically for matte paint that will hopefully increase longevity. My previous orange Triumph Trident had matte paint as well and no issues there as well.
I have not gotten a chance to ride a S model. But if the semi auto suspension of my BMW is any indication, worth every cent as it is far superior to the basic setup I have on the Navale.

I’m very curious if you will be upgrading the suspension or have you found adjustments on the stock system to be adequate?
