Thank you for this. I have a 67 plate Kuga. I feel watching your video that I would be confident enough to do all this myself. It will be the first time for me to do my own small service. I followed your video for changing the pads and disks and all went well.
Absolutely top video, thank you!!! I've been looking everywhere for a how to video of the Kuga service! Video was very clear and hope I find your video of the brakes being serviced too
Brilliant tutorial, thank you - fuel filter housing however should be thoroughly cleaned of old fuel and deposits/debris before having the new filter fitted.
@@parmindersidhu9690Hi, you aren’t required to fill any fuel back into the reservoir on this vehicle so just go ahead and start, which may be delayed the first time you crank after replacement of the fuel filter. Hope this helps!
Great video, the muck to the back of the engine gearbox case will probably be the high pressure fuel pump gasket leaking oil. Common issue on these engines.
Fantastic video very informative what I would like to know is when you changed the fuel filter does it just start back up and not need bleeding just a thought but thanks again 😊
@@adambonner3130 thanks very much, fuel filters on these are pump driven so once replaced (and cleaned) the engine struggles to start for two or three cranks until fuel hits and then fires up. As I have mentioned in other comments the focus uses a different system which needs to be primed. This however may not be the case for all models of kuga but for the 2.0 tdci duratorq fitted to my stline worked without priming
Hi see the powershift gearbox is there a way I can top up the fluid as I feel I am running low is it under the air filter housing an I loosen the bolt an top up as i had a leak so thought I'd give a little top up help.
I’ve seen on other TH-cam videos, after fitting the diesel filter, it’s been said you need to bleed the system of air that wouldn’t seem of been the case on this video
Awsum tutorial...thought id give it a go and save money myself..done everything you've done on my ford kuga...and now my car stalling when I'm going up hill...saying needs service...then turn ignition off and back on then starts fine..then it's happens again...any ideas ?
Hi great video I service my focus 14 plate but I have recently bought a kuga too and this dosent look too dissimilar apart from the fuel filter. My only question is do you pull the fuel through the filter i had to on the focus but I didn't see it in this video or does it not need it cheers

No, not at all this vehicle is fantastic on fuel. This is the 2.0 diesel model which may be a reason why? A good service may aid to reduce the fuel used, and maybe introduce an injector cleaner also

@Hogrid-cy OK thanks so don't need to add fuel shall I jus start or press the ignition on a fuel times before the push start thanks

What about the transfer box oil, Ford say it’s a sealed unit but many people say it should have an oil change every 25/30000 miles?
I’ve not heard of this as was told it was sealed but I will check in the next service interval which will be 90,000 miles
