Great video, thank you 👍..... just have one question, do you know in mm how thin the plastic tube has to be, to slide down the dipstick shaft? 😂 So I can drain the oil next time without shuffling around under the car. Thank You!
@@user-dh3lh4cs7w no it doesn't... But it does say the size of the long socket needed, 27mm. The long reach bar is a standard length long reach bar. If you got one, you got one... If you don't... You'll want one 👍😁
I don't know. But after doing a Google for you .. found these ... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372709822282?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=nWCK7uxFScC&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=fk8GNMGATDy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Hay bro, long shot but I’ve been trying to find out if the oil pressure solenoid on the mk1 Kuga is the same as the mark 2 cdti. Just wondering if you happened to know
@@PiggyPower hi yes, I’ve been looking at people changing the oil pressure sensor / switch on a mk2 Kuga and when searching it the only one I see is different for the mk1. I was just wondering if you knew if they have different oil pressure switches. I also don’t know where it is located on a mk1 but on the mk2 it’s beside the oil filter.
@@PiggyPower also would a faulty oil pressure sensor / switch cause high pressure in the fuel rail, the car keeps cutting out in high revs, I mean really flooring it and I’ve changed lots of stuff and still have same issues. I’ve changed fuel filter, fuel rail sensor, high pressure fuel pump, fuel pump regulator. I’m now looking at changing the o2 sensor and oil pressure sensor as I’m at a loss with what to do next. I have code p1169 when the car stalls out but then goes away after a restart. I also bought new return lines encase of a blockage. Any suggestions.
Oil and fuel systems are completely independent from each other. Was this a new fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator or second hand parts? It's a fuel pressure regulating issue for sure to cause your issues
@@PiggyPower thanks for replying. It was second hand pump but the regular was tested with 12v and ohms. Had 5.9ohms and 12 v makes it move ok. Both changed and precise same issue. Do you think it could still be regulator
It made me happy that he mentioned using brake cleaner to give the filter housing a good clean and to apply a little fresh oil on the new O ring.
👌🐷😀
Brilliant video there thanks for sharing that information very well explained 👍
Glad it was helpful! 👍🐖
Cheers iv seen a few vids where they suggest taking Alot of parts off.saved my saturday lol😂
Glad to help! 👌🐷

No. But I'd still recommend draining even if you do a suction job. It's rare to do it right and get everything out
What size socket did you use to unscrew the oil filter please?
See description 😋😜
Any updates on the eco boost mini city build?
Hey, been very busy with it indeed... Follow on Instagram for the latest... I'll do some video editing soon! Thanks for checking in 👌🐷
Just out of interest, what was that red connector for?
The one you move out the way? I can't recall exactly. Makes no odds if it's plugged back in 😜
@@PiggyPower fair! Lol - keep up the great vids!
No worries, I'll try 👍🐷
I need to do it today. 😢 Thanks for video, I hope I will manage 🤞
What size is the long socket needed
Read description 😜
Doesn't say the length of the socket bar

MK...2 or 1 ?
The vehicle on the video is a MK1 but I'm lead to believe it's the same for the MK2. Engine depending of course
