My washing machine has been making these errors for a few days and I really wanted to get the clothes washed before my Mom gets home from her long trip, so I decided to look it up to see if I could do anything - and because of you I could!!!! Thank you for filming the step to step process so that even someone like me, who knows absolutely NOTHING about this kind of stuff or mechanics, was able to follow along and get the job done! (Also, wow, we've had our washing machine for like eight years and we've never cleaned out that filter... it was very clogged and overdue to be cleaned for sure 😆 )

Thank you so much! I am not a DIY type of guy and was on the schedule with our home warranty company to have someone come out and "fix" our washer. Our filter was FULL of nasties! Easy to drain the hose, clean the filter and reinstall. Will be able to cancel that appointment now. Thanks again!!

Yup this fixed it. I was hesitant at first because I cleaned the filter just recently, but after pulling the filter it was filled with debris, likely something left in the pockets of one of the pants in the wash that disintegrated and got caught in the filter. Thank you!!!

Thanks for the help! This worked last time, but this time, something went wrong. When I tried to get the cap off the emergency drain hose, I ended up pulling the hose out of the machine. A small clip came along with it and water started spilling from the machine. Do you know how I can put it back? 🙏🏾

This really worked for me… Thank You for your knowledge…. My washer had started saying this SE code about 3 days ago and it was working just fine before that. I could hear there was a problem. I stopped it and reset it to just rinse and spin but I could hear that there was a problem. When I tried this troubleshooting video I seen there was a baby sock, plastic and just debris… smh…but now it’s working again and I’m so grateful for this video it saved me money!!! Yes when I drained mine I actually had clothes in the washer so it took me about 15mins to drain it. It kept giving me this code on the Rinse and Spin cycle. I just turned it completely off and when I drained it I filled up about half of a mop bucket…..I have the O’Cedar mop bucket.. it was filled about half way when I drained it. But afterwards I just put it on Spin+ Rinse cycle only and it worked PERFECTLY!!!! Once again thank you!!!

Hey, brother, we clean this almost excessively but recently its been giving us this code “SE”. You think maybe we got a little lazy and thats why we’re having problems now? Heres the thing, I’ll take mine off weather its calling for that error code or not and its NEVER really dirty. My question, is there another reason why I would catch this code? (Im thinking maybe its the actual hose that needs to be drained not just the plastic cylinder I’ll try that and give an update).
Got this error code.. and followed your video..but my filter was dirty like yours.. there was some small plastic piece and hair... so do you think it can be reason for drainage problem? Should I try now again if machine washed and drains properly or should I do any other step considering filter was fully blocked.. plz suggest.
