Good morning guys! The driving scene for this video is a bit different and longer but we really wanted to show you all more on how the Legacy XT drives. Hopefully you liked the dynamic between Sofyan and Clint from Motor1.com! It really is a nice alternative AWD to Honda, Toyota, and Mazda... if only Subaru would consider offering a more aggressive looking and handling Sport trim with the turbo engine 🤔🤔🤔
Clint needs a WRX, he drove that car very hard and started complaining when the CVT held mid punch for a while. He doesn’t like the Legacy. Here’s the deal, a Legacy was never meant to be a race car, y’all are failing to mention that out of all turbo between the Honda, Nissan, and Mazda the Subaru Legacy has the larger turbo engine and will smoke them all even with a CVT. Subaru has also step up its interior and is now better looking than Nissan and Honda. It’s also just as good as the Mazda. With that said keep doing your shows by yourself and keep Clint away or you’ll lose credibility.
After looking at almost everything out there today & being 64 years young.......I went to Subaru dealership yesterday & looked at this Legacy & loved it.
All the things you guys are complaining about, I like - light steering (I like to turn the wheel with one finger like I can in my '72 LTD), softer suspension, tires with higher sidewalls to help with the ride and I like the CVT in our new Forester. I hate multi speed transmissions that are constantly shifting. So, this is a car I would consider in the future.
I'm hoping that Subaru bringing back the turbo for the legacy and outback, as well as teasing a STI Forester, means that they hear our desperate cries for more turbo. I absolutely love my trek but it's only problem is that it's gutless when it comes to power.
I bought a Touring XT a couple days ago and I love it. I like the understated exterior styling, the premium interior, the quiet ride, the excellent seats, the fit/finish, the tech and the engine. I've never owned a Subaru so I'm not comparing it to models from 10-20 years ago (which I think is very unfair). Standing on its own in 2021 its an awesome car and I'm glad it doesn't have the faddish, overdone styling of the Altima, Accord or Camry. It will age a lot better.
@Nick I was worried too because my previous cars all had cloth seats, but after having gone through the hot summer where its regularly in the 90s and 100s here it was fine. I just set the seat ventilation on the lowest setting and my back never got sweaty. The nappa leather is very comfortable and I get compliments on it all the time about how good the tan looks with the Abyss Blue Pearl paint. It does look very premium.
@Nick Those seats were the main reason I bought it. I'm 6' 3", 205 lbs with pretty long legs and the thigh extension on the driver's seat made all the difference. The seats in general are very comfortable but that extra thigh support is great for a taller person. I have never owned a car that I was so comfortable in.
@Nick Its pretty bad. One of the roughest ones out there I've heard (and the car does shake a bit when it restarts). The disable icon is on the home screen. As soon as I start it I reach over and turn it off. Its habit now.
I always say that Subarus are designed for Michigan roads. And that's a good thing. The roads are horrible around here and they handle well in crappy weather
I just test drove one and I am very impressed with the interior. It is very high quality and loaded with all kinds of new technologies. The car is quick and smooth. As for the styling, almost every other brand for this size car, has more eye appeal. That being said, it’s not ugly. It’s just not as pretty looking as the competition. But I do think that the interior comfort and style and overall value is by far the best and I’ve driven everything. I am hunting for a slightly used one with the certified warranty, because I won’t buy anything new due to new vehicles dropping 20% in value the second you drive it off the lot.
I've driven Subaru's for 20 years I always see these filmed in some warm climate. Yes Redline drive this in a DC winter as you pass every 4wd truck and half assed awd SUV off the road and you can do that in all seasons!
Funny how all new manufacturers are going too CVT's to save cost and reliability.. when they keep up-charging year, after year and CVT's from most brands are not very reliable. Sounds like they're cutting costs on their end to make more profit off of their customers. " Sport " with a 2.5 Naturally aspirated and CVT. Ridiculous. I wish they would all just stick too DSG transmissions.
David Dawson dsg is no good on vehicles meant for off-road on cars like the legacy sure but vehicles like the forest should be a tradition auto or Manual.... because unfortunately the dct clutches slip and overheat when trying to off-road
@@_dmfd they have to. Specifically subaru. To keep up with efficiency and MPG's they have to go CVT. Especially because their thing is AWD which kills MPG's with standard transmissions.
@@TheKbreezy34 yea, I mean I completely understand that but putting cvts in all of their vehicles is ridiculous. Like the WRX, or even the Legacy. 15 -20 years ago, those were sports sedans and wagons. People wanting to buy something more sporty will probably care less about mpgs over someone buying an outback ( which is also silly too have a cvt due to offroad capabilities ) or any of their other family oriented offerings. Them only offering cvts now I guarentee will hurt their sales in a way. Like I said, not everyone cares about mpgs and there are certain vehicles centered around that kind of thing. But not all vehicles in a brands line up should have them.
giday from Melbourne we bought our 1st subi, 1984 a leonie, cops pulled us over just to see what the car was, we've owned every model since, brumby utes, Lseries, sportswagons, impreza's liberty(legacys to u), currently an XV. The outback onyx will be our next buy when they come to oz, ,in a sentence...SUBARU , the most underated car on the road today...
@@MrHomolka they don't make em new. My2016 sho was 26k with 20k miles on it. If you want a new comparison go for a Kia stinger gt base awd. There 34k new by me and I currently own a gt2 awd stinger
Audiophiles appreciate cd players in cars. The sound quality is the best, better than FM, HD and satellite radio and MP3. Nice to be able to take along a few of your favorite CDs on a drive. Old fashioned? Maybe, but better sound is better.
Like how it displays coolant temp right in the dash. I've never had a modern subaru, but in the past, its always been a concern, so knowing how the cooling is performing real time is dope.
You should drag race it against the competition. I really would like to see which one is the fastest. Even though I know that wouldn't change people's opinions, it would be nice to see all these car battle it out for the throne. I'll watch the heck out that.
Ray Livas Sorry about that! Time with the 2.5 Sport trim was super limited and we wanted to really focus on the XT. Once Subaru sends us one for a week, we will be sure to do another video.
This is not a great channel for getting excellent exterior shots. I'd love if they just use some b-roll from the manufacturer. That wide angle camera walking around the car once isn't cutting it
I am a 4th gen Legacy GT owner and an happy to see this turbo model back. Definitely would like to see Subaru offer this is a 6 speed manual Sport mode. Only can be hopeful that there is enough interest for them to produce them. The Legacy is the original rally car. Bring back the manual please! I will be in the market for a new car and my heart is winning over the Honda Accord turbo with manual 6 speed! Come on Subaru save the manuals and save the "LEGACY"! Dont veer away from the sport and rally bred brand that you are!
Get the Accord 2.0T 6MT because I doubt it will be around for the next gen of Accord. Sales are already falling on the Accord to being with, and I'm not sure if it's feasible for them to do it. This is me speaking from a consumer-side, but don't wait and lose the opportunity waiting for Subaru to do it. Don't think they will.
I have had 25 cars in the last 34 years and this one is my current one. I have to say, that I have been so impressed by it comparing to my Acuras, Audis, one MB, Hondas, BMWs, one VW and One Nissan and the two Subarus that I had in early 90's. Great interior, good options and a very decent engine. I don't hold on to cars too long but this one, I might hold on to it for a bit longer.
The Mazda6 2.5T has the same 1/4 mile trap speed of 93.4 mph as the Accord 2.0T 10-speed. But the Malibu 2.0T has a higher trap speed than Accord 2.0T and is 0.4 faster around figure eight test and leads this field. "...the quarter mile in 14.3 seconds at 99.4 mph." "The 2017 Malibu lapped the figure eight in 26.3 seconds at 0.70 g lateral average and pulled 0.88 g around the skidpad." Where the 6 2.5T was slower at 26.7s The Malibu 2.0T blows the Mazda6 2.5T(33 mpg hwy) away in highway fuel economy with 37 mpg. Motor Trend The Mazda cannot put the power down or cannot distribute tire grip in braking on the figure-8 test and will be two full car lengths behind at .4 in arrears at 40 mph speed during the 27s test compared to the Malibu 2.0T. The Malibu will be quieter, ride better and have lower NVH than Mazda, regardless of what the magazines reviews say.
You know if it was the other way around the comments would be hyundai copying Subaru an so on and so on. Notice how Sofyan didn't even saying anything about it looking like the 2015 Hyundai Sonata and he always things like that. But like I said above if it was the other way around he would quick to say something.
I had a 2016 Forester XT with very minor mods and was holding out hope that the 2020 Outback XT would replace the turbo-sized hole in Subaru's SUV/wagon lineup. I'm glad I didn't wait and traded in for a Mazda CX-5 GTR. The number of changes I'd have to make to a stock Subaru to make it drive in a remotely pleasing manner, and *still* have the CVT to live with... just not worth it. I will say not all Japanese AWD systems are equal and the Subaru's beats Mazda, but I just moved to Socal I'm fine with the CX-5. Also, shoutout to Sofyan for the excellent review on the CX-5. Definitely watched it more than once when making my decision.
Love the infotainment system because is so laggy and not responsive. Just having a big screen and complicated to use. Just love that because it just looks so big and so colorful and nothing else.
Excellent review as always brother. I fully agree that Subaru is doing an excellent job with their interiors. Now if they would just update the exterior styling, they could really just go to the next level.
I totally disagree with your wish for Subaru to have a 19 inch tire on the Legacy’s option list. I live in the Midwest where potholes are the norm. In the real world, no one wants to have to buy a new rim every other month. Bravo to Subaru for not following other manufacturers with the ridiculous trend of putting low profile tires on midsize family sedans.
Great review - but I could see Clint was changing your mind for you. This looks like a great car! I’m always in search of fun awd car with good gas mileage. The Legacy has always looked so boring with outdated interiors...obviously this new Legacy does not look like a WRX but it still looks better than the last gen.
Rattlebox for kids. Not a daily driver car. Subaru used to make the Legacy GT in '06 with a turbo and a 6speed MT, aimed for those who don't want to get the WRX.
@@ferenc-x7p you're right but I don't understand how all these kids/high school dropout looking shits are able to afford them along with the high insurance.
Why does everyone act like the Legacy is supposed to be anything more than an everyday driver? It's a mom car. It's not supposed to anything more than that. It's supposed to be boring and reliable. You want a car that's fun to drive, buy a BRZ or WRX.
Their interior may look more modern especially with the large infotainment screen but I don't know how well it'll age compared to interiors from Mazda and Honda. Waiting on a review from AlexonAutos to see how it really stacks up against the competition
I'll admit it has a great looking interior and the 11.5" Infotainment screen is very nice. That's about all I have positive to say about this car. So many manufacturers today are messing up. Those that are still building real sedans just don't have any offerings that can compete with what I have now two of. Unless you want to shell out around $50K or above for a Sedan. This past weekend I flew to Colorado from Utah to pick up my second 2015 Chrysler 200C AWD with the 3.6L Pentastar V6. This one has nearly all of the Tech including Self Parking, Lane Keep, Radar Adaptive Cruise Control all the way down to a stop, Collision avoidance, Hill Assist, Auto Dimming Headlights, Rain Sensing Wipers. This one had just over 28,000 miles on it and I picked it up for under 16,000. Granted, it has garbage Nexen tires on it . A lot of people are hard on Chrysler in general as a brand and I think it was a big mistake for them to cancel the 200 as they could have fixed the transmission issues and kept it as a flagship car. Drivewise with it's great handling, and comfort I would put it up against most of the competition out there (Accord, Camry, Sonata) and most certainly a Subaru. Having a naturally aspirated 3.6L with 295 HP and 289 Lb/Ft of Torque with AWD is nice. Driving from Aurora CO back to SLC Airport, then to Ogden Utah. My "new" 200C got as high as 39 MPG going through the Mountains and overall with the stopping and traffic we had to deal with, 35 MPG. My first 200C has nearly 88,000 miles on it and as a daily driver to work etc. gets 29 MPG and on the highway for trips will get up in the mid to high 30 MPG range still.
The car comes with V rated tires and a 149 mph. top speed. Subaru understands high speed stability and has created a near luxury vehicle that has a buttoned down chassis that is not fatiguing to drive all day at speed. The fact that you can't fling it around like a Fiesta ST does not mean the power is wasted. It does what it was designed to do, not what you want it to do. I'll take the power and luxury any day in this vehicle.
Lol, I can just foresee 2-3 months later: Infotainment unit RECALL but is on back order for 2 months 🥴🥴🥴🥴 To SUBARU: you are losing the confidence of your core buyers with these ridiculous recalls. You are ALSO losing your enthusiast buyers by eliminating the manual. You know you can mate the 6-speed manual transmissions onto any FA motor but you refuse to. Listen to your current consumers and stop trying to please the potential market you’re trying to get into.
Nice! I am so glad to see Subaru update the Legacy!!! It was definitely getting a bit long in the tooth. Can't wait to get my hands on one to review, too! Keep up the GREAT work, Sofyan! Loving the direction your channel is going. BRAVO!!!
I love the exterior and interior design. Don't like the CVT, but otherwise think it is a great package. Can't wait to see the redesigned WRX. All I want from the new WRX is better fuel economy/redesigned interior/new engine.
No kiddding. This is a family sedan with more power, just like most Asian manufacturers are now doing. It is not an M5 or S4, nor is it meant to be. Also, when are we going to stop hearing how much these car review guys hate CVT transmissions and/or how they wish the manufacturer would offer a manual gearbox. These family sedans are for the masses, not for the few who want performance on tap for under $40k.
@@pierrec.5516 true, the endless CVT complaint from these "car" guys right. I think it suits perfectly well with a family car...because Subaru knows that people like my wife would NEVER buy a manual tranny and would opt for a CVT instead.
I don't think anything with a CVT can be "sporty." Base Impreza with a manual is more sporty than this. And if you wanted an enthusiast car, why would you get this for 35k when a base WRX is like 28k?
Will the excellent upgraded Subaru CVT ever get the respect that it deserves? It is an awesome transmission, and with the turbo power, it gives seamless raw power without the need for shifts. If you have ever driven a very good go-cart and giggled with delight as it smoothly and very quickly propels you from stop to fast and around corners and curves without jerkiness from shifting, you will understand what Subaru has done with their CVT. Now, add turbo power to that, and you will be delighted with every drive. It will make you giddy with fun, as it has done to driver on every Internet review of a Turbo XT out there. Including this Redline review. Shifting is what a Ford model T did and what a Chevy Silverado still does. It is time for better.
Car manufacturers should really stop putting HVAC controls in the screen and heated seats etc. It makes something that should be very simple difficult. I own a 2015 Acura tlx and it has HVAC and heated seats in the screen after living with it I will never buy another car that does not have physical buttons for these features. It makes driving dangerous as well you have to completely take your eyes off the road to change HVAC.
@@l3n1x As we all know, Hyundai is willing to take more design risks, which pay off in terms of sales and brand interest. As evidenced by the 2021 Sonata.
Higher profile tires all the way. Ride quality and noise are more important than zipping around corners to most buyers. I swapped from 19s to 17s on one of my sedans and it made a huge improvement in ride quality. My family rides with me a lot so that’s important.
18" wheels are the perfect size for this car. The half inch taller sidewall of the tires not only provides better ride quality, but also prevents wheel rim damage better if you run over a sizable pothole.
Subaru: great car well thought out, amazing AWD, great interior, good tech like iSight, good engines. Subaru management says "wow we have a great car lineup we're going to make a lot of money! Wait what we don't want money? Okay let's put an unreliable CVT in our cars and totally RUIN them!" Genius.
As a graphic designer, it's kind of sad to see that virtually gone are the days of physical CD packaging. The "hip" artists will keep it real and continue pressing physical CDs, just as some of the more "hip" artists from the cassete and CD generations pressed vinyl, some even still doing it in the mp3/streaming generation.
I don't fly around corners on my way to work every morning, and I think most people are the same. I WANT light steering and a soft quiet cabin experience. Why does every vehicle have to be a race car.
Love this car. My one single concern is how they put a few safety features in the infotainment system vs buttons. Know it’s brand new. But sorta a concern for years down the road the cost of it messes up after warranty.
For Subaru, WRX is the sports sedan and BRZ is the drivers car...legacy is a family sedan...more or less a lowered outback with less space. I think it makes plenty of sense for its target market - non-enthusiasts that just want a comfort safe practical A to B car.
Jerald Matthews Love gauge sweeps, my ‘08 Saturn Aura and ‘18 Jeep Compass do it when they start up. My Mom’s ‘13 Buick Regal turbo does a gauge sweep when it’s started too.
@@ConsciousRobot pretty much. It's a "sporty" Corolla hatch thats still FWD with less than 170hp and 150lb-ft. I think the manual is a move in the right direction, but with a 0-60 at 7.5 seconds it's not exactly gonna blow anyones socks off. I know the Corolla was never a "fast" car but to say it's an improvement over the older RWD, lightweight 80's Corollas is silly. I'm not an Ae86 fanboy but between then and now it feels like the Corolla took 2 steps backward and one step back in the right direction. I realized you were taking about the Camry but even then without a manual option it feels kinda stunted. Not everyone wants a manual which is fair but to say that Toyota isn't still focusing on econoboxes isn't true. They only put a fraction of the necessary effort into "their" new Supra and the gt86. The camry, boiled down, is still the same FWD commuter sedan it was years ago. Even if they're trying to take it upmarket like everyone else.
@@Andernol overall, the Toyota line up is actually quite impressive compared to their former econobox offerings. They all have decent quality interiors and stylish, modern appearances. To say they're still "Camrys, Corollas, RAV4s" isn't exactly fair. Because, "still Camrys Corollas, RAV4s" compared to what? They've come significantly up-market in recent generations, while maintaining relative affordability.
The problem is, the vast majority of buyers don't want a hard riding, hard changing car on huge alloys. This is a perfectly adequate sedan for today's market. If you live somewhere that gets snow, need AWD and can't deal with that measly 180bhp, the XT is an IDEAL commuter car.
I wouldn't worry about it. Think about the difference in target audiences between the WRX and the Legacy/Outback/Forester. WRX buyers WANT the hood scoop.
Tom Tom is a more recent partner for Subaru. In my 2013 Legacy it is Harmon Kardon and still get my map updates from them. This looks nice - if and when I need a new sedan perhaps I will get another. So far with 112,000 miles and no problems the car I have is a definitely one easy to own (H6 engine). Sayan wants a sport sedan. Subaru being the small company it is, probably won't do that. That is what the WRX/WRX STI is for - and it is built in Japan. This is built in Indiana.
Is it that difficult to put a 6sp manual transmission option for Subaru? Or a regular torque converter 8+ speed automatic, that they don't even have to develop? The transmission issue makes a lot of potential buyers to look elsewhere. Great video, although a little to long.
I work at a mechanics shop that specializes in Subarus. I dont disagree with you in regards to the boring and unenthused driving characteristics of the cvt's but I will say that reliability has not been an issue. Subaru has been using these cvt's since 2011 and we are getting Subarus in the shop with 180-220k on the clock still driving strong. The difference is the Subaru made cvt uses a chain instead of metal cord reinforced rubber belt to operate the transmission.
Actually, it is very difficult, and this is linked to Subaru's unique AWD system. Subaru's AWD is very good, but it's also hard to find a transmission that's compatible with it (This is also why they used that outdated 4AT for so long).
Cava Vision I have a 2020 Outback xt. The cvt shifts like a conventional 8 speed automatic. All Subaru cvt’s have torque converters. Before badmouthing a the car you should test drive one.
Now if only the exterior matched the new engine and interior. Not opposed to buying one tho, but might need to take it to the custom shop for some aesthetic changes. Even a different set of wheels could really help out the look.
I actually like the front look of the previous generation better. Even though the infotainment is larger in the xt, the previous gen with the smaller 8" screen looks better because the icons are bigger and the tactile feel of the climate. The turbo and new interior looks great.
Good video but isn't this just the return of what used to be the Legacy GT? It was available as a sedan and wagon on the GT. Kudos to them for bringing back the turbo Legacy. Never understood why that was discontinued.
A "sport sedan" this big would at leave have a turbo Flat Six to compete with the Ford Ecoboost V6 in the fusion. Also, why the CVT 😩. Regular automatics have been tuned so well that CVTs aren't even needed to get great fuel economy anymore.
Side view looks like it would adapt very well as a 2 door coupe. Subaru should develop a competitor for BMW coupes based on the Legacy/Liberty architecture.
Subaru really needs to work that boxer and rally racing heritage and give us a mid engined h-6 twin turbo 3 litre or a 2.5l 4 cylinder twin turbo hybrid to compete with 718 Porsche and Toyota Supra / Z4.....
I mostly agree, but we needed a re-engineered ez35 with a twin turbo setup in the STI. Subaru now have 3 separate STI models with the same engine. Its very boring.
Sadly no it still has the CVT get rid of it and add a DSG. Most sport mode buttons don't really dona damn thing. Maybe if your under 35 you think it's cool to have one.
Just like the Maxima, it cant be a "sports" car if it has a CVT. Not a bad boring car though. I really do like Clint in these videos. You guys work well together
Changes: much better fuel economy, improved safety and handling, 0 to 60 time improved by 1 second and turbos do much better than n/a engine's at high elevation.
Final fantasy EM Its way faster than my 2019 Legacy 3.6r and urs too , even if u race an Subaru accent with 2.4t engine will smoke legacy 3.6r I tried it already
As a Subaru owner, a like the interior very much, but the cvt, the suspension, the front end, the wheels are a letdown I think. I own a Legacy GT 2009 with a built engine and a 2007 STi with a built engine too, the current Subaru thinking is all about fuel economy and not about fun. The fuel economy is fine, but if you kill the fun is not so fine anymore. The current middle class sport sedan market is almost gone. It seems that we need to wait for the EVs to go down in price to cover this new boring trend in the automaker industry, and is a shame!.
PS: Maybe the cvt isn't that bad, but I want it to be capable of handling a lot of more power and torque than factory specs needs, to give my approval.
Unfortunately, Subaru is not the brand for sporty midsize cars. You'll have to go buy the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Mazda 6, Kia Optima (2021), and Hyundai Sonata (2020) for sportiness.
Volvo and Japanese cars are doing similar things. They are trying to mask some low points with high quality interior. They all use more nice leathers now.
We've had our 2016 Outback in for an extended service and repair, nothing major, just took a while to get parts. Our dealer is super cool and gave us a nearly brand new (508 miles) base Outback as a loaner. The new vehicle unsold itself to me with the frustrating auto-stop-start nonsense. We've had this loaner for nearly 4 weeks and 2000 miles. I will say the new one is definitely quieter, noticably smoother on the base 17" wheels, and the CVT is more responsive. But man, that super stupid auto-stop-start MUST go. Someone has to come up with a programmer to outright eliminate that feature. Yes, I know I can turn it off after going through the screens, but come on, who wants to do that crap EACH AND EVERY time the car is started?
We had a 2020 Subaru Legacy Sport when my moms white 2020 Subaru Outback XT Onyx edition was in for its second service and getting a software update on it.

Most Subaru buyers live up north where roads are rough so the softer suspension is welcomed.
Has Subaru transformed the new 2020 Subaru Legacy XT into a budget sport sedan?
With a CVT... No.
David Dawson dsg is no good on vehicles meant for off-road on cars like the legacy sure but vehicles like the forest should be a tradition auto or

@@wolvesdengaming4844 yea, I was speaking about cars since this is the legacy. Wasn't speaking on Subaru specifically. Sorry for the confusion.

And now we are eagerly waiting for a comparison test between the Legacy, Accord, Camry, Altima, Mazda6 and Passat.

The Mazda6 2.5T has the same 1/4 mile trap speed of 93.4 mph as the Accord 2.0T 10-speed.
But the Malibu 2.0T has a higher trap speed than Accord 2.0T and is 0.4 faster around figure eight test and leads this field.
"...the quarter mile in 14.3 seconds at 99.4 mph."
"The 2017 Malibu lapped the figure eight in 26.3 seconds at 0.70 g lateral average and pulled 0.88 g around the skidpad." Where the 6 2.5T was slower at 26.7s
The Malibu 2.0T blows the Mazda6 2.5T(33 mpg hwy) away in highway fuel economy with 37 mpg. Motor Trend
The Mazda cannot put the power down or cannot distribute tire grip in braking on the figure-8 test and will be two full car lengths behind at .4 in arrears at 40 mph speed during the 27s test compared to the Malibu 2.0T.

I wish next year they will bring a sport xt manual legacy
Yes they will ! It will be call WRX ! ;)
Lol, I can just foresee 2-3 months later: Infotainment unit RECALL but is on back order for 2 months 🥴🥴🥴🥴
To SUBARU: you are losing the confidence of your core buyers with these ridiculous recalls. You are ALSO losing your enthusiast buyers by eliminating the manual. You know you can mate the 6-speed manual transmissions onto any FA motor but you refuse to. Listen to your current consumers and stop trying to please the potential market you’re trying to get into.
The best handling, stiffest Legacy yet is soft and fluffy? Maybe it just needs better tires.

Clint keeps it real, no punches held
You should have Clint on more often. You guys are great together

Yeh. It needs 7 or 8 speed torque converter transmission. CVT is just crap on response and long term reliability.
Alex Bellwood yes Subaru makes the best cvt’s hands down
Actually, it is very difficult, and this is linked to Subaru's unique AWD system.
I don't know why people complain all the time about CVT... I have a 2015 Infiniti qx60 and when I put it in sport that thing fly!!!

The ultimate i am a Dad and im getting old, this car is going to be handed down to my teenagers because its safe.
But Subaru is anything but safe.
