- I wanted to share the EASIEST way for anyone to get started with pen pals. I personally know how challenging it can be to easily (and safely) find other creatives who are interested in being pen pals. I've been using the Slowly app as a way to find other creatives and make fun connections with people from around the world!
So if you're struggling to find friends to write or find it difficult to always sit down and physically write and send a letter--Slowly is a really great way to get started.

Hey i want to ask how check if they read your letter but hasn't responded yet. I mean there is this gray tick and yellow tick. So can you tell me which of them means which ?
Also i have another question.
Can these paragraphs be visible to people that you're friends with or just you can see them? Its important for me
Hello! The difference, I believe, is that a gray tick means your letter was successfully sent and a yellow tick means they have read it. :) As for your other question about "paragraphs being visible to people" I don't quite understand. The only people who will see your letter is who you send it to. If you are talking about your words on your bio, you can "preview" your bio to see anything that others will see. And if you are asking a completely different question, just let me know! lol.
@@jaclynbaerartI meant the drafts where you can write when you don't have time. And I'm asking if it's like shot messages if you don't want to write the whole letter to them. Or you want to tell something to all your friends at the same time. It's similar to these notes recently added on messenger. I hope now you understand what I meant. Or it's just visible to you ?
Ah yes, that section is just to write down things/ideas you want to share with your pen pals, but don't have the time to sit and write a whole letter quite yet. That's just for you to see yes.@@lari.sso_11

Only problem I think is it takes too long for the letters to arrive. What can be done to speed up the process?
Hey! The whole point of Slowly is it’s mimicking a real letter and real letters would take time to get to your mailbox. So just sit back and enjoy knowing you’re getting a letter from a new friend!
@@jaclynbaerart i am aware of that, I think i am getting used to its pace, considering how hooked we are all on instant messaging, right. I think hand written letters have a certain charm to it, especially love letters, would love to recieve them someday from someone 😀😀😀 what do you think???

Making sure you are writing someone with the same interests as you and what you write in your letter is always a good idea! I've had some people write me about topics that I know little about so I had nothing really in common with them. So definitely make sure you are checking out their profile to see what you have in common! That would be my tip! Hope it helps!
