God, I remember unloading my whole ammo reserve of both shogun and pistol before being able to get him down. It took me 3/4 tries as well. If only I knew.

I always kill bloaters with molotov and bombs and noticed that the legs were always ripped off. I should have realise that leg weakness before.
As a second thought could be cause of all the armor crap on the body taking out the legs meant to make it crumble over its own weight?

Wanna know how to make this game even more of a horror story?
Cordyceps may not actually control the minds of the insects it infects; instead, the mycelia grow into their "muscles" and force them to move the way the fungus wants. The insect is still conscious but in incredible pain while infected.
So... there's every chance all the "zombies" in this game are still entirely conscious of what's happening and unable to stop themselves from attacking you, and are aware that you're trying to kill them.

The reason the bloater's weakspot is its legs as it's the most vulnerable part of the body. The rest of it's body is covered in layers of hard fungus, but looking at the legs its very clear theres a lot less of it.
From what I've researched years ago I remember nothing of a "Leg damage mechanic" that the devs wished to program, they were just very intelligent with their enemy design and how they would react realistically.
most people wouldn't drop dead if they were shot in the foot. I don't think any of the other unarmored zombies get one-shot from the foot. so why would a bloater?
@@AuroraAce. Bloaters are extremely heavy, shooting their foot with a rifle would break it instantly, and since the AI cannot run around with a broken limb, it counts as death. It's good real life logic on top of video game logic you gotta take the good with the bad. And if you were shot in the foot with a rifle like the one ellie has, your foot is gone.

Given how well it sold, I'd say the majority of rational thinking adults (whose minds cannot be shattered by pixel lesbian kisses) have conquered the challenge already.
Can you make the last of us part 2 without killing off your main character in a way that relies on a massive contrivance and your main character acting like an idiot, making fake trailers showing him alive later in the game, and falsely copyright striking people who criticize you for this? The fact that she looked like "It's Mam" was like the least important part of that.

The real horror was how progressively edgier all of the box arts got; seriously, was there a single person who saw the face on the second game's box art and thought "I want to play that game"? This game's DLC (or standalone thing? Apparently, it's been both) was like that but less so. I guess once you get big enough it doesn't really matter how appealing or interesting your box is, the name is good enough.
That oneshot on the bloater has saved so many resources
THIS is the the game that HBO should've followed. But instead, they just made a horrible garbage and turned it a show about The Last of Us.

I actually learned a lot from this video. I've played this game over so many times. (It was my first game for ps3 and I love zombie survival games)
I don't care for this game series at all, but I know gamechamp3000 will make it entertaining regardless.

Since GC isn't opposed to doing M-rated games... I'd LOVE to see a Corpse Party all Name Tags run! It's more challenging than it sounds! But I'll put it under the "Show more" cause it's gonna make quite a text wall.
Name tags are scattered throughout your environment, either attached to corpses or rarely on something near them. If you're careful and following a walkthrough (like the one by DarkHamsterlord on LP Archive which is really good), it's not *too* difficult to grab all the ones you need, The challenge part comes in sorta late into the game, where you're required to grab name tags *during chase scenes!* If the chaser catches you, it's an automatic Wrong End. Not that it matters since Gamechamp will absolutely want to go for True Ending only.
The absolute worst part is the end of the game, where there's a timed escape sequence with an invisible timer. You have to grab a CRAPTON of Name Tags during this. And then there's Takuya Nishimura. On the English PSP version (Blood Covered: Repeated Fear), their NT is COMPLETELY UNOBTAINABLE. You're not allowed to enter the room it's in during the escape, but it's only in there during the escape! I tried to see if there was a version where you can get in, but that's apparently the name of a real person, so I got nothin. My best guesses are as follows:
1. After the PSP release, Blood Covered Repeated Fear made its way onto the 3DS, but the English localization just calls it Corpse Party. This is the most recent release of the original Corpse Party, and they may have changed it. I wanted to test this since I have the 3DS version, but I got boned by a chase scene and my last save was ages ago so I got demoralized.
2. DarkHamsterlord attests that this change was added by the localization team, so if you can get through the game entirely in Japanese, you may be able to collect it. Easy enough for some games GC has played, but if you're playing no walkthrough and can't read it, you're screwed. It *is* half visual novel.
Oh yeah and there's one at the very end of a chapter where if you accidentally read too many notes you get softlocked out of it and need to restart the chapter that takes an hour and a half have fun!
9:40 you can just skip that section if you run to the ‘step up area’ without stopping

Please do a video seeing how honorably you can beat Ghost of Tsushima. Hardest difficulty, using as little stealth and Ghost weapons as possible.

After finishing the Last of Us show, I've been wanting to replay the game. I have to say thank you for these amazing tips, cause I'm playing through grounded and the "aiming while walking" strategy is a godsend. So is the stay close to your partner and kill strategy. Thank you! 🙏
