  • @Tigers.i

One tip I recommend is enabling assistive touch in accessibility. Then toggle on Hand gestures, which allow you to turn on Quick Actions (when assistive touch is enabled). These are handy single hand gestures you can use to dismiss notifications, pause music, or sleep the display all by pinching your fingers or clenching your palm. They even work in water proof mode for the times you don’t want the screen touches enabled

One thing about Keyboard vs Scribble pad. I find that it's actually easier to use swipe on the Watch keyboard over the scribble pad. You don't need to press individual letters on the keyboard. It's faster and take better advantage of the auto correct.

Good going, again. I'm so new to AW that I'll have to learn where to find Face Time. As for calculating restaurant expenses, our Italian version of Watch OS uses the percent sign instead of tip. Even simpler might be to calculate the bill, say 145 decide on the percentage, say 10 percent and multiply the total by 145X 1,10 (I think it would be 1.10 in GB, if I'm not mistaken) then divide by the number of participants.

I am a new watch user. Thanks for the tips. I have a question about Music. I am used to searching my classical music library by Composer. This works on iPhone or iMac but I do not see that option on the watch … any idea? To note, I sort my library as follows: I prefix the composers of pop music with a ‘z’ (to have them at the bottom of the composers list) and similarly prefix the artists of classical music with a ‘z’ (to have them at the bottom of the artists list). Thus, my question.

I'm here to give you a piece of advice: I noticed you wear your Apple Watch on your left wrist. It might be a good idea to invert the screen, so the display is upside down. This way, the button will face towards your arm instead of your hand. Often, when we push ourselves up from the ground or make sudden movements, the back of our hand might accidentally press the button. Flipping the screen could help prevent these accidental presses.

Some of your tips have been amazing and that’s why I watch all your vids when I can (the Alexa workaround for Watch using Shortcuts has been an absolute game changer for me!)
But honestly why oh why would I want 32 people trying to talk to me through my wrist, and who wants to surf the web on their watch when 99.9% of the time they’re going to have their phone in their pocket?! 🤔
So I really don’t get why they’re even tips tbh 🤷🏻‍♀️
That said, the tiny grabby hands hack is genius and the fact you’re able to tell us about any tips at all with two brand new littles means I’ll let you off on the earlier stuff 😅
