I adore this. Thank you for being you - bless your parents for raising such a wonderful son. I aspire to learn from you and Michael Pollan

Joel brings up something very new into "modern Ecological thought": the key role of animals into the carbon dioxide cycle and the importance of human intervention into nature's patterns. I see this as the "western" evolution of the Fukuoka's work.
    Simply great!

Joel you have done something that i thot could not be done. You have allowed me to hear to a message that i never would have listened to because of the people who have carried it until now. Now i do and into the places that it would have had a hard time being heard. Thanx

this is a very down to earth , readily understandable description of the rotational grazing process and demonstrates the Holistic Management model... good video to help yourselves and others grasp the concepts involved,
.... also great fun and passion from Joel Salatin
the fundamental difference between biology and mechanics is the ability to heal...
    Quite insightful and provocative
Life is biological, rather than mechanical,
Working with nature, in restoring life and nature... common sense

I feel like a giant leap forward in the yak's quest for world dominance has been achieved by the mere mention of the species by the great Joel! approx. 32:40
Really this is an inspiring talk. Thanks for posting it!

Joel has a funny thing he says about Monsanto and respecting the rights of property lines - "the rights of your fist end at my nose".

Monsanto sues farmers if their cross pollinated plants are found on the farmer's fields, that they didn't want in the first place. Monsanto's seeds have a death gene, which means the seed that comes from the crop can no longer grow a second generation crop. Farmers have to buy more Monsanto seeds. Monsanto seeds are Roundup pesticide resistant, which means they can take in more toxic poison and survive to be harvested for you to consume. Question is, how much of that poison can you consume?

Your religion is quiet dangerous. If Monsanto is the devil are you no longer using plastic too? Glass? Filtered water? Still driving? On highways? You might be a hypocrite.
