This was my favourite home since I started watching Homeworthy. She’s likeable, great dress but that lounge, the lacquered walls are perfection. Then there is the dog!! I loved the mix of contemporary art and antiques…perfection.
My take on this designer is how thoughtfully she puts colors, textures and antiques together is truely a talent. I was told once that each room needs at least one antique in it. The way she puts this concept into action is off the charts creative!
I appreciate this tour. She narrates so well. We aren’t hearing how everything is her favorite or that she loooves an item, like some home owners Looove so much. She does not repeat, she does not say um, uhh, at all.

I learned a lot from this channel! I recently remodeled my home and had a brunch and everyone were happy and asking me advise on decorating their homes!!! For people wanted to see more modest homes, well most of people watch as escapism... why would i only want to see small homes??? I see that everyday 🤷♀️🤷♀️I love this channel and they do a good job with diversifying the different type of homes!!! Although Dallas TX has many designers 😅😅😊a
Dear Homeworthy: Thank you for providing 20 min and 1 hour long episodes. Sometimes I feel like watching a short one, even 6 minute episode and sometimes I want to hear designer’s advice and to see their home tour by increments of 15 minutes. This Lady has immaculate taste! I loved her home and fabulous dress.
Awesome channel, love seeing experienced, studied, clever designers who create beautiful, surprising, inviting spaces. There are so many ways to think about home. I am glad that designers are the majority here, there is so much inspiration on each episode that I take notes and screenshots for reference and watch every one to the end, even if things are "not my style" (except the ruggable ad, everyone makes mistakes). I do love watching these for honing my skills. I have many family pieces but, like most of us I don’t have the budget or income to hire a decorator or tear out and rebuild an entire house. So I have worked on my skills in sewing and thrifting and scoured the markets to add to what I already have. I love watching the videos of the homes where the owners have thrifted from local charity stores. They have beautiful things at bargain prices. I love wallpaper but who can afford hundreds of dollars per roll? Likewise fabrics. The clients she serves are exclusive and most of us have to be better stewards of our money especially in these times but we still desire a beautiful home. I love to see how a designer would take a cookie cutter home and make it look like a custom home.

I loved this beautiful home and liked this homeowner as well. Her artwork is very special as is her color sense. The rich blue in her cozy den/library is so unique. It's saturated but doesn't overpower. Loved all her wallpaper choices....large in scale but cohesive in the room. I could feel the warmth of her family life, and I'm glad this homeowner found her way out of PR and into design!

One thing I dislike about these tours on homeworthy is they talk about every little item from baby cups to lamp shades. Not sure is it to lengthen out the video or what but I loose interest when there not even out of the foyer
Can you perhaps explain what it is with these baby cups? We don't have that in Germany. Is it the first cup, they buy for a baby, when it is already able to drink from a cup? But they are always made out of silver and are babies allowed to drink from a silver cup,? Is it healthy? Or is it just a gift for when a baby ist born and noone uses it?

Lovely lovely house. I was musing that in New Zealand eating only 3 or 4 home cooked meals a week would be eating out extremely regularly. I have a rug on my kitchen floor and it's great.
Yes, I'm in the US and probably cook dinner 4 times a week and I wouldn't consider that cooking a lot (although I will say that sometimes it FEELS like a lot! 😆)
This reminds me of one of those showcase houses done by designers for charity or for a magazine and not where a family with two teenage boys live! It had a chilly impersonal vibe though the rooms themselves were lovely and see was very gracious.
I know these tours are basically advertising for the designer and their work but I really loved this one. the lady is very personable and down to earth for someone who lives a life of a lot of privilege. she is calm and delicately talks about all her and her husbands choices. the painting of her sons is so wonderful and perfectly placed in the couple retreat. the only thing I would have changed is putting in a love chaise instead so I could have a cuddle with hubby. also love learning more about all the us American artisans and vendors, its nice hearing about people who make beautiful art and industrial design. I didn't realise that Dallas is such a hub for bespoke and custom design.
I like the little lamp that you have in the on in the barrier area I think you said it was electric I mean not electric but just a touch lamp that you had sitting on the bar. What was the name of that little lamp and where could you get one? Lady in Mississippi
The Gracie wallpaper in the dining room looks so refreshing and at the same time sophisticated. I wouldn’t pick stripped cream dining chairs for maintenance reasons. It screams “don’t spill anything on my chairs” maybe a floral slipcover would address that issue if one is encountered.

I truly enjoy and appreciate all the knowledge and helpful tips that these incredible designers are sharing with us. This one is definitely one of my favorites too! Just wish the camera person and the editor would give us more footage of the item that the designer is taking about during the tour. Many times she was looking up at the chandelier she designed and the camera only focused on her and not the product she was talking about. ( We got a very small glance of it). I still appreciate HW but really would like more time seeing the item the designer is talking about.
