Every now and then a home pops up that I say, “That’s what I’m going for”. There are many great homes on Homeworthy, but it’s these eclectic, classic/vintage/modern art, prints, photographs extremely comfortable yet extremely stylish, lots of brass… I freaking love this home and it’s now another Homeworthy favorite that I will watch over and again getting design ideas.
it takes money to make a house look like this. lol i mean even with the vintage and antiques they inherited... the fabrics they used to reupholster the seating are very expensive.
This is a beautiful cozy home. Love all of the family pieces incorporated into their home. Loved the purple/mauve bathroom too. She was a lovely woman too and well spoken.
Love that you have your own style and collected “family” pieces! Most young people don’t do that anymore. Love that! You will be so happy that you did.
One of my all time favorites on your channel! So much character in this home. Love her style and easygoing nature about her home and decor-not perfectionistic. A very talented artist indeed!!
Hey! You kept the purple bathroom. Fantastic! Yes, it is different. Love how you curated everything around your home...... The lamps on either side of the bedroom fireplace are very interesting!
❤ I am such a fan of the Orchid bathroom tile, the color, the mosaic floor, the craftsmanship. So glad you kept it, and celebrate it! It is epic! Love the geranium wallpaper, the maritime paintings, thank you for the tour!
This has been my favorite home on Homeworthy. A comfortable, livable, book filled, stylish home, so different from all the plain beige bla bla bla we’re seeing now♥️♥️♥️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Oh I love this home! It is so interesting, filled with items with a family connection and with stories to tell. I love the garden too!!!! Not overly manicured and sterile. They have done a wonderful job, highlighting this house's special features, in a sympathetic way.
I was thinking the same thing! Most people would try to present a very pristine perfect look.. love that she doesn't.. the bookshelves w piled up books, not perfectly boringly styled.. ages so real. Love love it!
The original orchid bathroom is DIVINE matched with her wallpaper...Just SMASHINGLY GOOD!!! 💜💜💜 also love how she screened in her front porch to create an extra outdoor room👍 🥰
What an interesting and comfortable home. The combination of styles is just so welcoming. I would not change a thing especially that orchid bathroom. Wow.
I can't believe it! In 1985 I was an au-pair in Winchester, where I used to leave in a Tudor''s house . In 1990, and had the opportunity to do a exchange-students in South Carolina and visited Charleston. And I fall in love and wish to get retire in Charleston, a stunning place to leave. And love the amazing house décoration! Wahouuuu
I have watched this home tour at least 20 times now! I really enjoyed it and wished it had lasted longer! I will keep rewatching this one until another episode of an eclectic home is released.
Where should I start? Such a comfy and welcoming home. The books, the artwork, the furniture, and that fabulous bathroom! So much of what I have and am aiming for in my home. Great style. Thanks for a great tour.
Love the art and furniture and the fact that its collected and handed down. It beings those people and times you collectected to life as you move around the house !
Such a relatable home and home owner! Love how not everything is perfect---like in a REAL home:). The marbled lampshades can be found at Pentreath & Hall in the U.K.
Gorgeous home and I love all your beautiful generational pieces and the way you love them! And the art pieces are AMAZING ....... thats what is missing in so many homes these days is collected art that has a story or meaning for the homeowner. Love your style!!!
I subscribe to Homeworthy and watch almost every episode. I usually forget to comment, but I love this house and the way it’s decorated so much I had to remember to leave a comment. Again, just a wonderful house with so much character. Something I wish I owned as well. The art is also great.
She has a fun sense of humor. I always love artist’s homes. It’s interesting how her home could be called a little “messy”, but it’s not-just seems free and relaxed. I’m a perfectionist by the way.
Really enjoyed this tour. Lovely home and the owner seemed down to earth. It's very frustrating when the owner is talking about a piece of art and the camera person never videos it. Happens too often. Otherwise loved this and love Homeworthy.
The house has different periods furniture and galleries walls and sufficient spaces to move around. Beside her wall papers, plum colored bathrooms that no one’s uses, her’s beautiful paints, with respect I loved the stove ( if I’ve one like it, I would be very careful of using and letting others use it because of it) . I love the plant life that Mrs. Lia have. Blessing.
That big painting propped up on the bedroom fireplace mantle is 100% covering a tv/tv connection. Just be real. That said, gorgeous home. LOVE every color used in this house, and super kudos for keeping the orchid bathroom! 💜
Hi lovely house good choices , can I ask what are measurements and dimensions of the dinning nook, I too have similar space that I would like to change to dinning nook

True. To collect many pieces from travellings .... @@joohsay
The same happens with me … every video I watch am like this is what am going to do 😂
You are incredibly wise to keep that very special purple bathroom! It’s inspiring to see someone who doesn’t want to just delete designs of the past.
It’s so enjoyable to listen to someone who has an even inflection in her voice!😊
Refreshing!
No vocal fry.
A beautiful hostess and a wonderful home. What an amazing collection of art and furnishings. Love all the maritime art. Thank you so much for sharing.
This is a beautiful cozy home. Love all of the family pieces incorporated into their home. Loved the purple/mauve bathroom too. She was a lovely woman too and well spoken.
she is just so effortlessly cool. I have a feeling I will be watching this one again at some point
As soon as I see “eclectic” in the description of the home tour, I get excited! Love this home ❤
Love that you have your own style and collected “family” pieces! Most young people don’t do that anymore. Love that! You will be so happy that you did.
True, I have beautiful furniture and my kids don't want any of my pieces!
Those hundred year old tile and fixtures is infinitely better quality than anything you can get today. I love that she kept it.
I loved her and the house! It’s so refreshing to see homes that don’t look like everyone else’s.
Sooooo happy to see another original bathroom. I have the original pink and one yellow bathroom in my 1957 ranch. I would never tear it out.
Our 1950’s bathroom was pink, mint green and black

I like that the home looks comfortable and lived in with hardware missing from furniture. 😊

The purple bathroom is beautiful, really unusual. Great that it's been preserved. It would have been a crime to rip it out!

Love, love this home! What a treat taking this house tour. It is a lovely place which has been lovingly restored a bit and decorated beautifully!
Love the art and furniture and the fact that its collected and handed down. It beings those people and times you collectected to life as you move around the house !
The last few tours haven't been my style. This home feels (at least through the screen) really comfortable, lived in and beautiful!

Picturesque house with some great fabrics. I’m amazed that so many people have books in their homes.
Money AND great taste. Love when someone has both.

My all time favorite episode!
Creative and pretty.
I love the purple 💜 bathroom. I wish they had given us more shots than just the tub.
She has a fun sense of humor. I always love artist’s homes. It’s interesting how her home could be called a little “messy”, but it’s not-just seems free and relaxed. I’m a perfectionist by the way.
I love the disappearance of the toilet paper roll from the powder room window😂
Love the greenhouse 🌿💕
Two thumbs up! I love it I could live there!
A wonderful place to dwell!

My favorite room in the house is the purple bathroom. That glorious tub has the cool rounded corners, too. It's a neat house overall.
Great home and thanks for talking about your art pieces. They really add character to your home.
What a beautifully unpretensious and homey house!
Cute home for a family starting out. Nice pocket doors with the wall that they added.
Absolutely lovely ❤ thank you 😊
Obsessed with every single inch
Really enjoyed this tour. Lovely home and the owner seemed down to earth. It's very frustrating when the owner is talking about a piece of art and the camera person never videos it. Happens too often. Otherwise loved this and love Homeworthy.

Great home!!
Beautiful 😻
I'd love to know the paint color for the dark blue bedroom. I showed my husband, and he loved it as well. That rarely happens.
That big painting propped up on the bedroom fireplace mantle is 100% covering a tv/tv connection. Just be real. That said, gorgeous home. LOVE every color used in this house, and super kudos for keeping the orchid bathroom! 💜
Maybe they don't want to look at a tv when it's not on.I would hide my tv with art too, if I had one.
@@emelless5365 I agree, but this was just set there for that moment. That's all.
Loving the colorful glass tumblers! Will you share which Etsy shop they came from? Thanks! 😊
Nice coast accouterments love your art works. Yeah

Is it just me but you kinda sound like Paris Hilton? Love your home. Thanks for sharing .
A lovely home, but a grouse is that there aren't enough wide shots to give a real sense of the rooms.
I wonder how her house made out with the storm. Especially with having a basement 😢
She Looks Like Elisabeth Shue. The Same Vibes And Smile 😊.Cosy Home ❤
