@cutelariaharpia hi I'm in the United states and would like for you to create me a custom chef knife. Can you be reach back out to me. I love your work and thank you
Another beautiful knife, I like the technique you used to make the bolsters, Don't believe I have seen it before, they turned out very nice. The Damascus pattern is beautiful. Overall, a fine work of art. Thank you.
Thank you, James! I learned this bolster technique from my teacher. I believe it is an ancient forging technique, it is similar to the process of bending steel or forging some types of axes.
@@cutelariaharpia your mentor has taught you well. Of all the raindrop ive seen done you are the only one ive seen use multiple size drill bits which gave a great pattern nice and bold
Thank you! 😁 This raindrop technique I developed myself. I thought of different sizes and different distances between the holes to look more like rain falling on the surface of the water in an organic way. Around here people make a lot of use of formers in the presses, personally I don't think that's pretty.
Man I sure love your knives!!! Question though? Where do you get your stencils made? I’ve been looking for someone to make some for me of my makers mark.
Thank you very much, Vincent! The company that manufactured the stencil is called "Sinais e Letras". It's from Brazil, but they can probably send it to you in an envelope. I'll write down their WhatsApp number here in case you need it: 55 51 3457 2777 You should also be able to find them on Instagram.
hey! I don't have a virtual store yet, but I can serve you personally if you're interested. I didn't do the shop because I have a lot of work to order, so I usually don't have pieces available for immediate delivery. My WhatsApp number is +55 51 998966784
Thanks for the feedback! It's good to know how the public thinks. I started a little while ago, so I've been doing some tests, accelerating or decelerating. It's a little difficult to find a good point between the cuts and the timing because they are jobs that last up to a week or more, then I end up speeding them up so they don't take too long. A tip if you want to watch more slowly is to decrease the playback speed in TH-cam settings. Most of the sped up scenes are at 2x or 3x, so it will look much closer to natural.

Nicely done. Nice bit of Salem Straub technique for the bolsters
Thank you! 😁 I learned this from my teacher here in Brazil. I already knew Salem Straub, but I didn't see many videos of him. He is incredible!

Not to be rude, but would you be willing to disclose the cost of the knives?
@@gbevianna
@@patrickcraig6989 not a problem for me, but I’ll leave it to Vinicius if he wants to disclose it to you.
These videos would be much better if the entire thing wasn’t time lapsed.

Que pó é esse colocado no aço
Chama-se borax, ou tetraborato de sódio.
This totally belongs in a high-end kitchenware catalog and/or retailer, @cutelariaharpia!
Thank you, Gerald! 😁 🙏
