    Nice to see an empty house converted to a lovely home. ❤ the interior. Very well structured discussion. No doubt reaching Andheri West by road during busy hours is a nightmare. But Metro is the solution..

    This is the exact reason I sold my flat, CHS members who used to neglect the building, such that even if the outside wall was leaking, I had to pay for the repairs. In this case, the best thing is to see the writing on the wall and sell the flat before the building becomes uninhabitable.

    Tastefully decorated home, relevant questions by the interviewer and equally good answers by the host. A pleasant experience. You can convert a house into a home with a wee bit of taste, love and togetherness.

    Does not look like a 500-ft apartment, really spacious and well articulated in terms of designing.

    • @Subh8081

      It is 540 carpet, not super built. My 1009 super built has actually 728 carpet and another 840 super built is 555 carpet, same size as this.

      @@Subh8081 - Yes also the layout makes a big difference in the feel of an apartment. One thing with Mumbai is for some reason a 540 carpet feels way bigger than in Pune (which is really a nightmare as builders are selling at whatever rates and definitely SQft is less)

    So value of a flat after 40-50 years is nothing ? If in mumbai redevelopment is difficult then what will situation of other cities be which have no shortage of land?

    • @herambpatkar
      @herambpatkar 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      The real long term value is in the land rather than the building or the flat...land is a at premium and scarce in Mumbai, hence redevelopment happens...builders get the incentive by building taller, putting in their money and effort and selling more flats in the same land parcel as there are virtually no fresh land parcels available in the city.....I really dont know what will happen to those who invested in flats in Pune suburbs or other tier 2 suburbs, there redevelopment has no incentive as those cities are expanding freely in all 4 directions..
