    What a smart & lively couple with such a positive attitude....they understand the true value of Mumbai... its not measured in square feet.... but in lifestyle, safety and employment opportunities! Kudos to them to have mastered the Mumbai game...even found places to satisfy their Delhi NCR taste buds....have come across several people from north who just crib about the food and dont really do they research...Mumbai offers everything...its a fusion of North-South...choosing an area is very critical!

    Why are some people being so negative here in the comments just because the couple found Mumbai a great city to work & live. Look at how relieved the lady looked while talking about safety. They have a positive attitude & even found the best places for North Indian cuisine. We are no one to judge them.

    NCR is Gaon with full of casteism and Hindu Muslim unlike Mumbai crowd which is more open minded and accepting. I've lived in Noida and Mumbai both and can totally relate to that. My apartment in gurgaon is 1304 sq feet and much smaller than this because of the big balconies that we were provided. Overall the concept of adding more carpet area instead of big balconies is something builders in north should learn from mumbai and pune. Safety wise I would say that yes, people in ncr don’t really feel safe travelling alone or in public transport so they end up buying their own personal vehicles

    • @fwefhwe4232
      @fwefhwe4232 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      carpet area doesnt include balconies.
      mumbai / pune has extremely low FSI and maharashtra govt now includes balconies into FSI as well ! This means builders would rather make a room than a balcony.
      Look up floor plans of hyd flats. Every room has large 6 feel balcony.
      For upper middle class (20LPA+) , any city apart from mumbai offers a better quality of life.

      @@fwefhwe4232 Every apartment in Hyderabad has 6 feet balcony in each room seriously ? I have stay in Hyderabad for 4 years and 90 per of the apartments are congested standalone buildings without any amenities. Most of the apartments hardly have any balcony and they call dry balcony/ utility area as a balcony. Gated communities culture has just started 3-4 years back in Hyderabad but prices for Gated communities apartment in Hyderabad are much higher than even Bangalore and Pune. Pune offers best floor plans and value proposition in terms housing since most of the apartments are gated with many amenities. Also, there is no comparison between Mumbai and Hyderabad in terms of lifestyle. Hyderabad has less or no social life beyond Hitech City and Jubilee/Banjara hills. Whereas, in Mumbai you could find strong social infrastructure in all directions even in outskirts of city.

    Nice attitude couples have nowadays. My wife and I had 2 kids before she was 25 and I was 30. After staying in US and India in last 15 years, all planning was as per the kids. We have moved cities every few years and brought moderate priced flats in noida, Pune, Gurgaon. Not sure where I will settle after retirement. Don’t want to give rent so always brought average flats in cities I worked. Now I stay and work in Pune and rent out the other places. I always feel take an average flat sooner in life . And then plan to have another after 7-10 years.

I'm paying 53k for a lovely 3bhk (Standalone redeveloped building, only amenity is a decent gym, amazing maintenance overall) in a nice peaceful residential area there...and when I look around at what nearby buildings are charging, I feel 53k for a 3bhk toh kuch bhi nahi hai...I have started normalizing these insane prices...because I have seen 3bhks going for 70-90k rent here...and the flats and buildings are not even as good as my current place...all because they are by Lodha or Raheja or Rustomjee or Kalpataru etc. People are paying end of the day so these rates keep continuing.
