I like this model better than the previous one I watched. At least I could shower inside in foul or cold weather. Wood stove is awsome feature, makes for a nice cozy camp in fall and winter camping. Large sleeping area both above truck cabin and at the back with remote to lower the table for an additional bedcaand washer and dryer too! A huge yes to this one.
This is a pretty perfect build, checks all the boxes with internal bike and ski storage, wet bath, fireplace heating option, etc… I’d probably opt for an electric stove, but that’s probably the only change. Hopefully I’ll be ordering it one day…
This is a terrific layout! Well done. The only thing I would do differently is locate the water tanks near the front of the unit, not cantilever at the back, when filled they’re going to take weight off your steering tires.
I really like this van. It's simple. Not too flashy like the Earth Roamer. But what I really get a kick out of is the wood-burning stove. That is neat.
Build one yourself used pre-emission heavy duty commercial trucks without a bed on them like F-550, and Ram 4500. Not rocket science that is what I'm going to do I can build it the way I want it I have a mig welder garage full of tools. Steel supply is 15 minutes away.
Love this. Can one sit on the roof to star gaze? Meets my requirements. 1.) Love the washer/dryer! 2.) A bed that can be left made up for sleeping & can get up w/out crawling over my husband & storage beside ea side And, no stored batteries underneath. 3.) Large sink (you didn’t show but I’ve seen on other videos of this. I hope to see this at an expo next summer.
Nice build. I still don't get the black tank avoidance by all overland builders. 35 gallons lasts us 14 days even WITH a bidet. A 14 day dump sure beats dealing with it every other day. Most people who buy these won't have 14 days in a row to use them. We have been full time for over four years. I guess we just have another perspective.
For what it’s worth, I totally agree. I get the logic behind cassette, but I think you make some really valid points. I would personally prefer to see black tank for all of the reasons that you stated.
Awesome build man..a work of art that. I work in a timber yard and now you've got my imagination ticking over.. happy new year and all the best on the road.
So very little storage in the kitchen. the 3 cupboards above the kitchen will hold your plates, bowls, cups. Where is the cutlery & utensil drawers, pots & pans storage and the food storage cupboards?
Looks good. Things I would change: cassette toilet. No propane! Induction cook top. I find the woodburning stove odd. Make fire outside. I didn't hear anything about technology either. Keeping an eye on this EV
How close to GVWR are you? A lot of that stuff is really heavy (cast iron wood stove??). Also, how were you able to get bigger windows on either side of the bed? Your other builds that I've seen just have the small windows that are half covered by the mattress.
This truck was built on an F550 platform with a 19,500 lb GVWR which allows us to use heavier materials compared to our standard Baja truck camper builds. Similarly, this is a different, and larger, shell than our Baja platform which features the smaller windows in the front.
What would be cool is a DIY forum come up with plans to build a DIY custom camper on a used commercial heavy duty diesel pickups. Lots of pre emission diesel Ram 4500s, or F-550 trucks out there without a bed on them for cheap. Parts are cheap to fix them after market community is massive. This isn't rocket science just need a little room, welder, basic tools we can build one ourselves. RossMonster is cool way beyond the cost of the Average working American.
Interesting! It's a very European style overland build with lots of European parts. Even the interior... The only thing that's truly different: the base vehicle is not a MAN, Mercedes, Iveco or Steyr.
2x 48v 100ah = 800ah @12v batterys if you get what i mean so if your talking about this its 9600 Wh ... but 800Ah at 48v would be hahaha a wopping 34.400 Wh thats more than 3days an average small home uses ...
Don’t forget the part they’re driving a diesel engine on a truck that probably gets 6 miles to the gallon. Also that’s an old style wood stove. Burning wood is one of the worst polluting forms of heating they’re is. The alternate heat is diesel and then he mentions radiant but doesn’t say if it’s electric radiant also running off burning diesel.
@victorhernandez7456 You seem to mistake not wanting to pay outrageous price of 250k to 500k for a stand alone off road rig for being unable to. I chose to spend , enjoy , and invest my money more wisely. That's a stupid purchase no matter how much or little money you have. And again, usually bought by those telling others to live smaller and leave smaller carbon footprint. Like all your tech ceo billionaires with private jets. No worried tho hernandez you'll be without ac either before me or right with me. Lol.
Hey, thanks for your comment! We build everything custom for each client, so a wet bath was what worked for this client's needs, however a Dry bathroom set up could absolutely be done as well.

If I win the lottery I am buying one of these for sure.
EarthRaomer has some new competition! Love it!
Cheers!
Wow! I could leave home and never come back in that rig. Beautiful.
Cheers!
The door to get into the cab is a great idea

WOW That is beautiful, pretty darn close to an Earth Roamer at over half the cost.

This is an amazing build ! Well Done

Finally a design with bicycle storage! A truly fantastic build, wood stove and just everything I would want.
Thanks!
I agree n possibility of just buying camper?
CREATIVE BUILD ! AWESOME PIECE OF MACHINERY !! 💪🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
that deal makes them 41's look TINY! That rig is enormous
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
I love this build! The review is very concise and gives the details!

What a beast. Holy cow!!!! Fantastic looking rig.
Thanks 👍
That is a proper badass build. Seriously, you guys do amazing work!!
Glad you like it!
What audio/ video options are available? Where does that projector project onto. How do you watch TV?
Now this is a build I would want if I had the coin......😊

another Damn Nice build! All areas covered!

Such a beautiful monster! I love it!! Greets from Germany! :-)

They said compost toilet not cassete. @browngilll
I use an incinolet incinerating toilet. I just fire up the generator, top off the batteries and turn the poop into ash at the same time.

Is power water available yet?
-they sell the hybrid option south of the border Ford lobo, is it available in the States?
Love it. Is there a reason the rear wheel well doesn't line up with the wheel?
beautiful build. Absolutely stunning inside and out
Thank you so much!
Awesome build man..a work of art that.

Happy new year and thanks so much!
That F550 platform looks like an Elevation Offgrid build.
That's a beast I need one of this
Glad you like it!
How much, and where can you get warranty services 😊😊😊😊
What is the exterior paint product used?
Wow. Unfortunately I will never be able to afford one of those in my life, no matter how long I work!
what would be the price of this build?
So very little storage in the kitchen. the 3 cupboards above the kitchen will hold your plates, bowls, cups. Where is the cutlery & utensil drawers, pots & pans storage and the food storage cupboards?
my dream.. If I had a caravan like this, I would be saved from living on the streets

This is the best of its kind that i have ever seen. What's the cost?
Thanks so much! We build these custom, so price ranges, but tends to fall between 300-450k.
Do you sell this line or only the baja type?
This was a custom one off build

I wonder what's the final price, all inclusive (truck as well).
Including the truck, these fall between 300-450k.
Awesome
on a vehicle like this, a bathroom so small and without windows and sink is disfiguring
Will you still build this vehicle?
This was a custom one off build but may revisit the design or similar designs in the future if it makes sense
How much is it?
What is the overall (bumper to bumper) length?
Hey there, it's 28'.
Really nice build!!! How much do they run?
Since they are custom built, they range, but tend to fall between 300-450k.
@@RossmonsterRigs Too much for my pocket!! :(
Badass
Cheers!
Only complaint I have is that grey water storage is real limited.
We build these custom, so can change up grey water configuration depending on each client's needs!
It would be perfect if not on a Ford. But man, gives me lots to think about!
We're a custom shop so can build these on a range of chassis, so you're not stuck with Ford!
Cost?
These builds will run between 300-450k with price ranging largely due to the systems each client chooses vs. layout choices.
O MG,it’s so huge
beautiful build and cheaper than earthroamer
Cheers!
What is the price?
There rigs are custom so they will range, but tend to fall between $300-$450k.

Lost me at wet bath and composting toilet, sad
The wood stove was excessive lol. Definitely wasted space.
It's all about what works for your needs!
800ah at 48volt ? haha or 800ah at 12v start doing it the right way and talk in What Hours because thats what you need to know ...

You folks have an awful lot of money to throw around apparently. From a crowd telling everyone to live smaller too. Cute

Nobody can afford these. It ain’t worth it. You’re better off buying land with a cabin.

Too much
Totally failed. Why would you have or even offer a wet bathroom shower for this price... It should be a dry bathroom with seperate shower
Hey, thanks for your comment! We build everything custom for each client, so a wet bath was what worked for this client's needs, however a Dry bathroom set up could absolutely be done as well.
@@RossmonsterRigs excellent a dry bathroom on the wet coast where I live is necessary
