You are so beautiful and expressive! The video theme reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's quote: "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others. For beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness. And for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone." ❤🙏
I’ve been using a baking soda and honey as a facial scrub for more than fifty years, once a week just as you do. My depression era grandmother gave me the recipe and it has always worked well for me.
@@rosehiver6262I've been doing just honey on the face for years. It's a humectant, meaning it draws moisture into the skin. I do a light layer and lightly tap all over a few minutes with fingertips until tacky. Rinse off. Smooth & soft skin.
Thank you for some great tips! I will definitely do face yoga in the mornings. Can you pleasr do a short video on embracing your grey hair? Why you don't dye your hair, how people regard you with grey hair, and provide a positive message for women who have grey hair, but are afraid to go natural? I'm 75% grey, and still dye my hair every six weeks. I hate chemicals, but I feel stuck on what to do. I just want your take on it. Thanks!
Dear Connie, I'm so blessed to discover you and your channel! Your thoughts, way of life and message you bring to this world are truly my ideal. I’m happy to have met someone like you!
All women should take a Que from you and your outlook. Natural beauty is the best! Love the non-corporate and simple-natural ingredients. No one needs big pharma! Great message! 👍
Lovely video and thanks for the tip about the using the body brush on the face - I've never gone past the neck. Just my own little tip - you probably will find you don't need the cleanser in the morning - even if it's the most gentle cleanser, it's still removing oils that your face needs. Just at night is fine 🥰 And, you get 50% more.
Just an FYI for anyone with sensitive skin...the Aveda products have a ton of fragrance (Linalool, parfum, etc.) While I appreciate that Aveda is a high end "natural" based line, some of us can not tolerate the fragrance ingredients....
I love dry brushing and yoga massage. I used to use baking soda on my facial, but now I’ve been switched over to ground oatmeal and it helps hydrate and exfoliate same time.
Thank you Connie, specially for the Face Yoga tips.. for those who don't want to use plain Soda Bicarbonate on the face, mixing a bit of coffee granules helps.. I've been using that for years and have good skin in my early 60's..
I love simple beauty products. I use Eucerin crème on my face and when I saw coupons on the counter at my dermatologist office I felt like I was on the right track. I am finishing up a Clarins cleanser and I’m going to try a Eucerin one. I have some masks I’m finishing up and I’m going to go back to using my motorized facial brush once a week to gently exfoliate my skin. I’ve even narrowed down my cosmetics especially lipsticks. 😊😊😊
Thank you Connie for your beauty tips. You are a beautiful woman, both inside and out. I'm bookmarking this episode for the facial yoga for my 70 yr old wrinkles and sags, which I otherwise wear proudly! 👵
Just found your channel, lots of good advice which obviously pays off for you because you look naturally lovely. I have a concern with face yoga in that some movements cause static wrinkles to worsen i.e. pursing or puckering the lips can cause deepening of those upper lip wrinkles if they are already there or may even cause them. I have these wrinkles and noticed they were getting worse doing the pursing movement so I don't do these moves any more for that reason so would urge anyone to use with caution.
Hi Connie thank you. This video is so inspiring and helpful. I absolutely love a simple life and routine. I don’t know how old you are but you look amazing. No wrinkles no lines no jawls just simply beautiful. I look forward to you giving us a makeup routine 😊 thanks again 😊
Thank you for these fabulous tips! I think I’ll be entertaining my family with the face yoga. I also dry brush but wonder if I should be washing the brush itself or how often you replace yours? I appreciate your videos and enjoy guessing where in the world you’re filming.
I think it is just what feels good, pleasant consistency. I maybe do 1:1 table spoon coconut oil with soda and a teaspoon of lemon juice, i do not melt coconut, just leave creamy consistency so it feels nice to scrub. Try few times to find best proportions.
AWW! Thank you for this sweet message. Yes, putting my life on display is a big slice of humble pie. It's a good thing there are so many kind people like yourself in the world.
Lovely video....I always feel so relaxed, calm and hopeful after watching your videos. I think simple solutions are calming for me.....thanks for this channel!
Hi Connie, may I ask what filter you use to film your videos? Or are you using a ring light to film with? The lighting in your videos is beautiful. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Dear Connie, thank you very much for this video. Apart of these products do you still use the homemade products with coconut oil or Shea butter you showed in a previous video (several years ago I will say 😊) ? Oh I forgot to say… you look really fresh and gorgeous 🌷
im 85 with oily porous skin so wonder if you know if these products are good for that. breakout happens also. thank you for this video Your very naturally beautuful.
love your videos Connie! thanks so much for always sharing the simple life tips...Wondering if you do any other face yoga exercises besides the ones you shared?
So happy you did this video. I wanted to simplify my skin care routine , this will help me to cull products that don’t work. Do you have any exercise recommendations to help lose weight and tone the body? Thank you, peace to you
Very inspiring. I will definitely try the face brush, (I already have a body brush). I would love if I could make my skincare routine a bit less costly and more simpel, but I have used ZO for the last couple of years, and it keeps my skin so incredible firm, healthy and moist. Also it keeps away my acne. So I probably will stick with it, despite its non minimalistic and expensive nature. Unless I find something else that can do the job in a simpler way... There are so many incredible inventions in skincare in this time, but it is also a jungle. I am impressed with how good you skin looks though, with those few products you use 🙏
Thank you Connie, you are truely beautiful. I think I'll manage 3 face yoga exercises, nice and simple. I would love to know what you do to keep your teeth so white?
You have beautiful skin Connie so your beauty routine must be working. I don't have a beauty routine per se, I just wash my face with dove soap in the shower and when I'm moisturising my hands with Aveeno lotion, I just rub a bit on my face. So far, my skin is holding its shape as well as it can for a 63 year old. 🤓🌹
Thank you for the video. Although less expensive, perhaps effective drug store finds would be helpful & appreciated please, especially for facial cleansing
A lovely video, Connie, and you look radiant. I think I might be even more basic than you are! I cleanse with a simple oil, such as grapeseed, and a hot washcloth, then moisturise with argan oil (day) or castor oil (night). My sunscreen is what I was ordered to wear by my dermatologist (Daylong Actinica - it has parabens, which I do not like). At night in winter, I add pure shea butter to my face. Twice a week, I mix ground almonds with honey (you can grind them finer in a coffee grinder) and make a face mask/scrub - leave it on for 5-10 minutes, then scrub it off. It also works great as an exfoliating body scrub. A konjac sponge is also a great face cleaner - no products needed at all.
Hello Connie, thank you for your wonderful and calm videos! I enjoy them very much and they do me good (I'm not a native speaker 😊). Since you prefer natural remedies, you might want to have a look in the use of castor oil for your dark spots and wrinkles. There are a lot of videos of all the benefits of castor oil. I think, Barbara O'Neil might be a good source of information. But you are beautiful anyway from the inside and outside! All the best from Germany 👋
You look amazing, I think!! You don't look lie you have lines or sags at all. It's awesome and inspiring. I love that you are a natural woman. Same here! I really need to do the baking soda thing! That's awesome. Also I have heard about the dry brushing and have tried it before in the past and noticed it helps a lot! I have been doing face massages on myself since my twenties (now in my early forties). Some of the ones that you are doing I have not done. The chin one I do a lot haha. I am a brow furrower when I sing! haha. I do not massage that area and should. Thanks for sharing. Have a great rest of your week.
When you are beautiful on the inside, your beauty will show on the outside.
You are so beautiful and expressive! The video theme reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's quote: "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others. For beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness. And for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone." ❤🙏
I love this quote! It's very true and I hope I can always incorporate those words into my actions.
Audrey was an amazing woman.
Really great approach to aging which is a privilege
Sleep on your back, its good for the face
I’ve been using a baking soda and honey as a facial scrub for more than fifty years, once a week just as you do. My depression era grandmother gave me the recipe and it has always worked well for me.
When you say it works well, what does it do to your skin exactly ?

I use baking soda on my face once a week love it
I use cornmeal as an exfoliant on my face. Wash my face, then with wet hands I dip my fingers in cornmeal and gently scrub my face. It's excellent

An alternative to baking soda for exfoliating facial skin is rice flour, or finely ground rice (I use my coffee grinder). This really works for me.
fantastic tip!
Thank you for these fabulous tips! I think I’ll be entertaining my family with the face yoga. I also dry brush but wonder if I should be washing the brush itself or how often you replace yours? I appreciate your videos and enjoy guessing where in the world you’re filming.
Appreciate your answer.
Trying new products even tho more pricy. 😊
I did use time to time baking soda with a bit of virgin coconut oil and a bit of lemon juice. Helps with hydration and clear skin due to lemon.
Great tip! I'll be giving this a try.
Assuming you leave it on....what are the portions of each?
I think it is just what feels good, pleasant consistency. I maybe do 1:1 table spoon coconut oil with soda and a teaspoon of lemon juice, i do not melt coconut, just leave creamy consistency so it feels nice to scrub. Try few times to find best proportions.
It must be a venerable experience sharing your life as you do. Thank you for all of the tips and inspiration! 🙏🏻 ❤
AWW! Thank you for this sweet message. Yes, putting my life on display is a big slice of humble pie. It's a good thing there are so many kind people like yourself in the world.
I also use baking soda, I think is a good and cheap way to exfoliate my face and body. I love natural soap and oils for skin.
Thanks for this video!
Lovely video....I always feel so relaxed, calm and hopeful after watching your videos. I think simple solutions are calming for me.....thanks for this channel!
Thank you for all the great ideas. What makeup do you use?
I would love to look as naturally beautiful as you, could you do a video on how you manage with other products I.e hair and body ❤
Hi Connie, may I ask what filter you use to film your videos? Or are you using a ring light to film with? The lighting in your videos is beautiful. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if they are good for your skin type. I have normal/dry skin. You may find more information on their website.

Thank you for sharing your tips. I used Aragan oil in my 20's, 30's, and half of my 40's. It's a great way to keep the face looking vibrant. ☺
You might be underestimating how much sunscreen you need to wear.
🥰. 👍🏻. ❣️ Beautiful !

Oh! Thank you for the compliment.
Face yoga, definitely going to give it a try 👍.
You're beautiful i like your vlogs from pakistan 😊💖
