I am not a certified Maserati Technician. I am a self taught DIY backyard mechanic. All maintenance on my Maserati Ghibli shown in my videos is done in accordance with a Maserati Service Manual and advise from Certified Maserati Technicians. Yes I did, once it started on my car, it did not top. They call it PCV Howl.
Great video, thanks for doing it. I want to check the diaphragm on the oil separator (PVC) valve. How do I remove rhe cap? Do you push down like with a radiator cap? Or. Just use brute force. I don't want to break the cap. TIA
I would not play with it if it running ok.

Lol I had to change bank 1 sensor 1, it’s on the top, passenger side. 1st time changing it. The original was on so tight, it took me a hour to get it off. Best of luck to u. Also what mods have u done?
@@dra1chemist994 I have no mods. Everything is factory except for the wheels.
When I need to change them I will. I won't mess with my car too much because it is my daily driver. Would hate to miss work because I was tampering with my car unnecessarily.

Awesome video . Question can you tell me if this is the same part listed on scuderia ? It’s only the part no attachments PART NUMBER: 293162. I’m changing it for maintenance purposes only. Thank you so much for these videos. These truly let me know what to expect and try avoid this happening if possible.

I have a Maserati ghibli sq4 n I have a purge valve I have to change out how to?
I have a short pointing out the location. It will be easier if you remove the windshield wipers, windshield water tray, cross support brace, and then the water bucket under the windshield water tray. My wifes SQ4 has an issue on cold start where the engine revs up and down but when it warms up it stops. I checked for air leaks but nothing.
When you say revs up and down, can you tell me the RPM range it revs at?

Hello James ! My name is Taras/ I have SQ4 2016. 58700 km.
now on my dash is Check Engine lamp. And consuption is bigger. 17.8 l per every 100 km. Error P 0157 something wrong with the Sensor.. Bank 2 sensor 2. But according to diagram every of four sensors are working. What I have to do ? Should I change that sensor ?
It could be a few things, exhaust leak, low fuel pressure or a short to that O2 sensor. Bring it to a good European auto technician and have it properly diagnosed. Without being able to look at it myself I would just be guessing. An honest and good technician can diagnose exactly what the issue is. It would be worth it to you rather than firing up the parts cannon and replacing parts that are not the actual cause of your issue which can get expensive.
