I’ve detailed cars for over 25 years now. I’ve used about everything there is to coat a car. I’ve always been a chemical guys fan and have bought almost everything they offer. Tried the ethos ceramic wax with a top coat of ethos resist and even before fully curing the slickness is insane. More than the chemical guys butter wet wax. The customer service is amazing as well. New customer for life.
Going from a traditional 3 step process to now a quick two step. What people need to realize is that this stuff saves money by only having you buy one product. On top of that, it saves you time. Which every detailer knows means more $$$
Ive heard nothing but good things about ethos but im finding it hard to believe the hydroslick cut out that quick. Ive applied hydroslick to a few vehicles didnt have that hard of a time buffing it out, and in real world situations its lasted.
Just started using Ceramic Wax Pro and love it! Easy on and easy off. Also really like the Tire Shine. I have used it on several of my clients vehicles and they love it!
I looked at a lot of other reviews of both of these products, and your results are exactly why I went with Ethos over CG. The ease of application and removal. Good job guys. Repeat customer here!
Recently started using Ethos in my detailing business and I can't even tell you how impressed I am with every product I've tried so far. You can tell that the quality of their products is a true passion if theirs. Highly recommend!
I haven’t even got to try this product yet but it seems like a game changer. Very durable protection and easy removal has been observed by a lot of testers. If you guys are looking for sponsors or a tester let me know !
That was exactly the goal with this product, durable protection while being easy to apply. We definitely will put you on the list when we have another spot open up!
Awesome product! I bought the mystery box and go the ceramic wax included. I think its the best deal. Really easy to use. The gloss is so deep for something so easy to apply. Thank you for makimg a great product ethos!
I would like to see the Ethos ceramic wax pro go up against Chemical Guys Jetseal I know that Jetseal is a polymer sealant and not a ceramic or Sio2 product but alot of people do swear by it and it is similarly priced with similar claims of up to 12 month protection.
We have done internal testing against Jet Seal, it performed even worse than HydroSlick. Dont just take our word for it though, we're happy to have others put these to the test.
@@ethoscarcareI exclusively bought chemical guys until I discovered ethos so I’m about to order several things. Wondering if I used detox to get the hydroslick off, if I applied one of your graphene or ceramic coatings if I could then use ceramic wax on top of it? Or basically if I applied graphene or ceramic, what products of yours could I layer it with? (Note that I enjoy detailing so even if layering a product isn’t completely necessary I like doing regular maintenance so any products that can be layered I’d probably do it). Thanks.
I've tried the Ethos CWP and it's a great product to use. My only issue is the price when you can get Meguiar's Hybrid CLW for half the price. I didn't even bother with the overpriced chemical guys stuff.
Ethos Car Care ok. I really hated making that video I made. And am willing to make a new one when I try your application process exactly and if I get great results. So keep an eye out. Thank you Tim !!
10:04 For a side business you should consider making and selling Duck Calls. :) I haven't had a chance to try the Ceramic Wax Pro yet but it's coming soon. If not for this virus thing I would have been able to try it by now.
Umm yeah think I rather do this then using a da to polish then sealant and spend hours doing a slow process i get that was last longer but I think il just keep up the maintenance doing it this way
Hey man im a automotive TH-camr, and i would love to be a tester and review your products on my channel! I also ordered the ceramic shampoo cant wait to use it! Please let me know! Im very interested!!!
I dont get it...I applied the Hydro Slick on my Camaro very easily. I used a mirco fiber towel round applicater that attached to a handle with velcro. I applied it in an even thin layer and wiped it off 1 min later easily. The orange paint on my car is looking fantastic. Other big detail channels give the Hydro Slick great reviews.
@@ethoscarcare I own both and while I would absolutely give ethos the edge on this specific product, I have never seen that type of residue when I used my CG, just saying. good vid none the less.
Ethos Car Care ok my bad I missed the cure time part of the video. it’s recommended to apply hydroslick in a cross hatching pattern but just about every review on hs shows people applying it by rubbing it on one spot and spreading it out, I’m very interested in trying ceramic wax pro, just not a fan of everyone’s review on hydroslick when it works very well for me in the real world when I apply in a cross hatching pattern I get way better results than this. It’s like no one went and watched CG’s tutorial on how to apply it and just do their own application style that they’re used too.

Finally, a company who test their product against other brands side-by-side!
Yea, good thing it won’t be biased.

@@ethoscarcare Thank you!
No company should ever bash another company's product. Let consumers be the judge of how good a product is not the actual company reps
You can’t compare when you didn’t follow the instructions on wait 2-4 hours
Yes, both panels were left to cure for over 24 hours

How would I get rid of hydro slick from my car? Want to go ceramic but I applied Hydro Slick a few weeks ago. Thanks in advance.
Best,
Our Detox is the perfect product for this. It'll strip off old protection and prepare it for new. ethoscarcare.com/products/detox
Or you could just wash it with Dawn 😂
Literally had the same question three years after you did 😂. And he isn’t joking, wiping hydroslick off about made my arm fall off

Ceramic pro wax is legit, easy to work with and love it...put it on 2 months ago and still beading
Thanks for sharing Rob! We are very proud of the product, we put a ton of work in making it very durable, shiny while still being very easy to use.
@@ethoscarcare Thanks for making a great product...the ceramic refresh and shampoo are great as well...definitely wanna try the new foam party

Honestly the best way to test durability is real world tests.... just saying👍
Check out our other video showing this product after 6 months of real world testing: th-cam.com/video/_EL2r7Wogec/w-d-xo.html
Ethos Car Care I watched it. I want to know how YOU applied it. I tried everything and STILL never got good results 😭 I had high hopes.
@@henryfreeman6113 we will be doing a thorough application video soon!

Should definitely have a Chemical Guys representative and a neutral party to do a proper review.

Awesome product !
Is there any chance to buy it in Europe (Belgium) ?
Thanks in advance for your answer ;-)
Big ethos fan. This is what I want to see.
Thanks for watching!
Only good product CG has is their VRP. Everything else is expensive crap. 😃
And Glossworkz shampoo
Can Ceramic Wax PRO be applied with a Cordless Polisher?
Why didn't you shake the hydroslick? Do you think the product didn't work as well because maybe it had separated or settled?
Fabric Guard made my seats hard like leather. Hydroslick washes off after two weeks or a wash.

Great product.
Can it be used in vinyl wrap?
Can't wait CG make comparison video with ethos product😅
Can the Ethos go on windshields?
Yes it can and creates a water repellant affect.
Can be used as AIO?
Anybody knows if this works on gloss vinyl wrap?
Can I use this on chrome wheels?
Yes you can!

It's a gel with cheap SIO2. Works but not worth 40$
Thanks for the video .
Just subscribe and you have a new customer . Will be putting a order.
Ethos> Chemical Guys
Appreciate the support!
You applied way too much CG for this to be a relevant test.
It was applied as described in the instructions, you're welcome to test for yourself.

Horrible comparison the hydroslick was not even applied per instructions nor given a proper cure time, biased review 👎🏽

Lol 😂...He sounds like the plastic dip guy good product though.
"New Lower Price" lawlz
This is the most bias review of Hydroslick that I've ever seen. Start a timer on camera and then buff it off.
