For those who are diabetic, replace the sugar with a box of sugar free lemon or lime jello. You don't need Cotton Candy Grapes, regular seedless green grapes will work.
If you are diabetic you should not be using those zero-calorie sugars because the artificial chemicals in those sugars make it hard for your body to digest anything, they block digestion and that is a problem. It's why a lot of people who are diabetic and they drink diet colas they end up in a worse condition,...fake sugar is not good for you you just actually have to watch your sugar intake.
Ive been eating frozen green grapes for years as a summer snack/refreshment, its delicious. Cotton candy make it even better. Im gonna try the added juice and sugar, but I dont think its essential, we'll see! As always, thx for the tip Jordan!
I made these in culinary class! Only difference was that we only used lemon juice and used jello powder instead for more flavor. My team used a berry mix so it wasn’t my fav but there are so many other jello flavors you can use
Just regular jello mix? I don't know why but I imagined it would taste sour without all the water to dilute the concentrated flavors to make the jello lol. I might try this with sugar free jello, cuz grapes are already sweet enough lol. Do you reccomend a certain flavor to compliment the grapes?
Compared to a the same volume of candy it’s half the auger plus actual healthy things from the acid juice and grapes so it is actually kind of healthy plus after watching the rest of his vids pretty sure he doesn’t care about health 😂
“tastes like candy” well with that much sugar it pretty much is 😂. Grades have one of the highest amounts of natural sugars (which is why so many people enjoy them), with extra sugar on top it basically is just candy. 😂
@@CrystalBbyUSAits more just that they are superbly sweet on their own, not that they taste like cotton candy. Imagine eating a normal grape, then replacing the tart with 3 cups of sugar. Absolutely worth trying at least once
Honestly, you don't need the lemon/lime juice or the sugar. Cotton candy grapes and gumdrop grapes are DELICIOUS. Literally just toss them in the freezer as they are. Let them freeze overnight, and you'll have basically bite sized sorbet that's crazy sweet with no added sugar. It's an addictive treat.
"it tastes like candy" Well yes... Because you just made candy. You took one of the sweetest fruits, a grape, specifically a variety with an even higher sugar content than normal... And you coated them in more sugar. The lemon and lime juice added a bit of a different flavour, but was mostly just to ensure the sugar stuck to the grapes. The result? Candied grapes. There's about 14 grams of sugar in a half cup of grapes, and there's about 32 grapes in a cup of grapes. Very simple math there shows that there's almost a gram of sugar per grape (28 grams in 32 grapes, or 14 grams in 16 grapes, and you added even more sugar. I'm not saying this out of criticism, unless someone is trying to claim this is healthy, I'm just saying it tastes like candy because it quite literally is candy...
Depends on what you mean by nature. These are at least selectively bred (human selection instead of natural selection), and might even be genetically modified to reach a specific goal quickly. Also, if you like pineapple, try honeyglow pineapples. They are more sweet than normal and hurt less (I think they are less acidic and have less bromelain, enzymes in pineapples that break down meat (in this case, our mouths).)
@@AnaVassBlueBasilisk are those the pink pineapples? I've been dying to try those!!! Honestly I don't care if their gmo or freaking cancer grapes, they are amazing!!!
I truly love that he behaves about food like I do about animals, literally everything is the best that ever existed because its the feel good topic, and that really warms my heart, the way he talks about food stuff he discovers is the way I talk about animals I met on the street if they let me pet them (if you haven't realized yet, sadly they don't I come at them screaming in high pitch noises because I think they so cute, and contrary to food they run away)
A few years ago, I paid someone who was staying in the same hotel as I was, in Hawaii, $20 to go out and find some cotton candy grapes, which he said I had to try. I still have him saved in my phone as “Justin the Cotton Candy Grape Man”. 😂
Just imaging that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard those are a problem is cute as most...had you screaming?? I swear you people are bots literal npcs
I have to try these. The cotton candy grapes are already every sweet, but they are a lot softer than Concord or regular grapes. The lemon and lime makes sense because sweet and sour is a classic combination, but what really intrigued me is the freezing. I never thought about freezing them, and that gives the soft grapes a firmer texture. This is a must try.
Honestly ditch the extras, cotton candy grapes (or candy floss grapes as we call them in the UK) are absolutely delicious and freezing them for a bit does make them even better 👍
Jello mix is a great substitute for about half the sugar in your sugar cookies. Not only does it give your sugar cookies a sweet/tangy flavor, but it also colors it. EXCELLENT for Christmas cookies. Cherry dough and lime dough and plain dough gives you red, green, and white. Not only do the colors combine well for Christmas decorations, but the flavors go well together, as well. You can even add some peppermint oil to the plain sugar cookies, for added Christmas zip. I usually like to use orange for Halloween. For Thanksgiving, if you want to do a fall/harvest theme, you have lemon, orange, and cherry (or strawberry) for the colored leaves. Orange also for pumpkins. You could also do lime for green pumpkins. I can't think of a black Jello flavor, but there's food coloring for that. Grape makes for purple, though. You could combine the different batches of dough into some really fun cookies. In the spring, go for the more "pastel" flavors, such as strawberry, (cherry comes out as a darker red than strawberry), lemon, lime and peach. You don't need a special recipe. Just substitute one package of Jello powder for the equivalent amount of sugar, in your regular sugar cookie recipe. Simple as that. I like how they give a fun flavor with some tangy zip (sounds like a Miracle Whip commercial. Haha!). You don't even need to frost the cookies, because they have a good flavor, all by themselves. It's sort of like SweetTarts, but in cookie form.

Lmfao I don’t think anyone buying “cotton candy” grapes is focused on too much of a health boost Carlos 😂

@@ConchadoKing? Cotton candy grapes have been to bred to contain a ton of sugar. There are inherently unhealthy.
I plan on doing this with brown sugar or coconut sugar...Its not as diabetic like sweet as regular sugar....
Thanks for digging up a beloved childhood memory. My Opa used to give this to me when I was a toddler. He passed shortly after. I can't wait to go home and try this again.

What I love about this video is that your freezer looks NORMAL! You don’t have an ‘influencer’ fridge / freezer filled with plastic containers with different types of ice etc. I love how normal you are.
Nah bro ain't no by have time for that 💀

There's different types of ice???

For those who are diabetic, replace the sugar with a box of sugar free lemon or lime jello. You don't need Cotton Candy Grapes, regular seedless green grapes will work.
Correction, you need Cotton candy grapes they are amazing
Awesome idea thanks!
But I have to do it the way Jordan tells me. He's the only adult supervision I have.
Love your Reactions and All your Videos from Scotland 🏴 uk
I made these in culinary class! Only difference was that we only used lemon juice and used jello powder instead for more flavor. My team used a berry mix so it wasn’t my fav but there are so many other jello flavors you can use
Just regular jello mix? I don't know why but I imagined it would taste sour without all the water to dilute the concentrated flavors to make the jello lol. I might try this with sugar free jello, cuz grapes are already sweet enough lol. Do you reccomend a certain flavor to compliment the grapes?
"Those are a problem" addiction detected 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love frozen grapes, just on their own, especially in the summer
Those are so GOOD tasts JUST like cotton candy 🍬
His reaction just said it all. THAT IS A BOMB IDEA✨️
That 1st reaction looked like you were prepared for combat. The "Those are a problem." at the end threw me over board. 💀
Bro poured a pound of sugar and has the audacity that it only tastes like candy
My thought exactly!
😅😅
Compared to a the same volume of candy it’s half the auger plus actual healthy things from the acid juice and grapes so it is actually kind of healthy plus after watching the rest of his vids pretty sure he doesn’t care about health 😂
Nah fr though I eat frozen grapes plain and they still taste like candy. I prefer the red ones though 😂
Speak English.
“tastes like candy” well with that much sugar it pretty much is 😂. Grades have one of the highest amounts of natural sugars (which is why so many people enjoy them), with extra sugar on top it basically is just candy. 😂
Bro went to heaven for a moment.
These grapes are delicious. I buy them every time I find them.
Do they actually taste like cotton candy? I've never tried them bc they're expensive where i live
@@CrystalBbyUSAits more just that they are superbly sweet on their own, not that they taste like cotton candy. Imagine eating a normal grape, then replacing the tart with 3 cups of sugar. Absolutely worth trying at least once
@CrystalBbyUSA They are just sweeter than regular green grapes. Let me say, they are expensive, but they are soooo good!

"Those are a Problem!" had me rolling!
Seriously cotton candy grapes are life! The ones that have the carnival tent are the best ones.❤
I love cotton candy grapes but there are some called Moon Drop grapes, not available for long but the sweetest most delish grapes ever.
The carnival tent ones are the MOLINA QUALITY BRAND.
"it tastes like candy"
Well yes...
Zamn bro that's insane
Thanks professor. 😁💚
Why you over analyse and ruin the fun video
Put lemon juice on apples... no sugar though bc or already had sugar... but that's up to you.

I'm so glad you spoke of these absolutely gifts of nature!!!! I had my first cotton candy grape 2 years ago and I've never been the same since
😂😂😂 can’t wait to try them
not a gift from nature. completely unhealthy and man-made
Depends on what you mean by nature.
I don't think these are a gift of nature but rather a gift from food scientists!!
@@AnaVassBlueBasilisk are those the pink pineapples? I've been dying to try those!!! Honestly I don't care if their gmo or freaking cancer grapes, they are amazing!!!
Jordan just created a global wide price hike on grapes
No. He just validated the pricing of sugar.
Another fun thing to do with those just to make cotton candy sherbet. Wash off the grapes freeze them blend them. It’s delicious.
They pair super nice with any lemon-lime soda. Both 7up or sprite work
I love how happy he is in every vid when he likes something
I truly love that he behaves about food like I do about animals, literally everything is the best that ever existed because its the feel good topic, and that really warms my heart, the way he talks about food stuff he discovers is the way I talk about animals I met on the street if they let me pet them (if you haven't realized yet, sadly they don't I come at them screaming in high pitch noises because I think they so cute, and contrary to food they run away)

I agree
Adding unneccessry sugar to perfectly fine food is typical American.
Frozen grapes are perfect it’s crazy to add sugar since it’s already a perfect sweet fruit
Jello mix is good on grapes, too. Prepare them the same way.
