@@MrJohn324 thanks for the tip…… wish I would have thought of that before. Will use that tip if I have to change it again. Car has 192K miles on it and is still running strong so I may have to do it again in the future.
Ensure all the pump bolts are removed....I made the mistake of removing one of the timing chaine cover bolts thinking it was the pump bolt. my car's pump was really corroded and was fused to the engine block. it took numerous hammer hits to get it to break free. the trick was using a tool slim enough to get between the pump and engine block.
was there any pitting of the metal where the o ring seals? were all the pump bolts securely tightened? was there any debris on the o ring mating surface? did the o ring tear when it was stretched to install on the water pump? defective water pump?....I recently purchased two, brand new fuel pumps for another vehicle/project and both pumps were defective.
I noticed the same thing other videos didn’t have the AC lines over motor mounts.
hello if your water pump is stuck you can use a plumbers wrench with a pipe to give more leverage after you take off the water pump pulley and bolts

Some shit ford would do, run the AC in the most inconvenient of places but very helpful video 🙏
@@lincolnhuggins4258 glad I was able to help you!!
How high are you able to jack the motor without damaging any lines or hoses?
At least 3-4 inches. I was continually checking and stopped as soon as I had enough room. Good luck with your repairs!
The water pump is easy the thermostat is a lot harder
I have a 2010 Escape. The water pump is in pieces and still wont cone out. I am worried I may have to scrap it over this.😭
