Definitely can relate I did rescues and having 2 phones. Being on cortex watching drivers definitely gotta have patients with drivers. I was thinking about making a TH-cam. Explaining how to 40 plus stops and hr. But idk but good video coming from you Indianapolis DII3🤙🏾

I guess I got pretty lucky..I just got the dispatch position at the dfx4 station (victorville california) and I just hit 10 months as a delivery driver..I busted my butt tho, I got driver of the month 3 ties n months.

Ask your dsp when an open position will become available I was selected a open position became available and they thought I was the perfect candidate i have also been with my dsp for 2 years

Us dispatchers look for the one who are all about the team. Helping out after-hours route. Building relationships with other drivers because a huge chunk of dispatching is communicating with and supporting drivers with their issues on route/scheduling/ call outs.. and it will definitely change your perspective/relationships with drivers. So if you're interested in being a Dispatcher coming from a DA, GET your routes done on your own and be willing to help, show that you can self manage. See if you can train others as well, that's a great start to moving up. I was a DA from January of 22 up until a couple months ago. It's been a hell of a transition.. but I put the work in and you can too!
