I have that exact car, and year, and model 3.2 in grey. I noticed when you put the key fob into the slot, that you had the volvo logo on the key fob facing upward. I put it in facing the bottom. I guess it will work both ways. The dealer told me it should face the floor the volvo logo. I don't think the manual states that it's necessary. Nice video in any case.
+msw600 I've worked at Volvo for almost two years now and never heard anyone say that. Only reason I could maybe see is so that the logo doesn't get damaged but I've still never even seen that happen.
+Jakeman21642 Thanks for reply. So I guess either way is fine as the key fob I believe has the same edge lift on both sides anyway to prevent it going in too far. I believe it sticks out a drop when only using radio. Then again I will check the manual.
+msw600 I did a test drive of this exact year, color, make and model. Do you find the seats comfortable? I was a tad uncomfortable after riding in it but was unsure if maybe I could correct that by better adjusting the seats. Your thoughts?
rockysocky... I feel the seats are very comfortable overall. My other car is a toyota camry le 06' and the volvo s80 seats are much more comfortable. I'm speaking the driver seat as I wouldn't know how riding in the rear seat let's say would be. Steering is also excellent as well. The Toyota camry has stiffer suspension, but then again every car takes getting used to....
This video is great. But 4 years old. Now in 2018 would you recommend this same year and model or what today would you all recommend, Volvo in its same class?
I'd recommend one of these but with the T6 engine and AWD (3.2 FWD is still a great car). These things are a STEAL on the used market. I personally own a 2012 S60 T6 and would also recommend one of those depending on your budget.
Jakeman21642 thanks for the reply. I will certainly look into the s60 t6. Been a Saab guy and giving up my 04 93 Aero for a used S80. Found the 07 T6 AWD under 80k mi. but 07 scares me in 2018.

Barents blue looks much darker on my s80! Is it the camera that makes it look almost baby blue?
Lovely car. Is this a FWD or AWD?
I like it

Before we sold the Lincoln truck we were looking at one just like this but in black. Then they found the Buick....
What’s with steering at stationary? Trying to break the steering pump?
Oh yeah I'm sure that one little back and fourth motion for a video just took YEARS off the life of this thing. Give me a freakin break dude.
Jakeman21642 just avoid doing it.
