That is a very awesome and very well-kept car. TwinTurbo V6 is and the twin charged 2.0 L four-cylinder that Volvo currently uses in their new products maybe more fuel-efficient than a V-8, but you just can’t beat the sound of a V-8. No four-cylinder can match the sound.

And Volvo is doing away with all of their other engines, it seems like, except for the variations of the 2.0 L turbocharged and supercharged in line for cylinder.
Oh, now I see what you mean. Unfortunately this is what the future brings. Smaller, more complicated engines that will die before they hit 100 000 km in Russia (because of crappy fuel, oil and severe duty).
We do have premuim oil and petrol here, Russia is not Afrika. Yea, there are lots of counterfeit products, but still. What kills engines here is mostly lots of dirt that gets in radiator, so new high-temperature engines get constantly overheated. Plus cold winters, many people do not warm up their engines before driving.
My first car is going to be a 2017 Volvo s60 awd inscription with the straight 6 engine. It is my step grandmother's. She got it from Darrell Waltrip Volvo of Franklin Tennessee. She also has a 2016 Mercedes-benz S550 4matic which is her longer interstate cruiser
That's a fine example of a beautiful Volvo. I have the Xc90 V8.....Love it to bits, but I would do a trade for this S80.... I don't need the mega-space of the Xc90 anymore.
The Volvo I bought came from a sketchy salesman and ended up having the transmission go out within 2 months :(. The best car EVER, drove so smoothly and quietly and was SO comfortable. It breaks my heart.

We brought up the transmission issue and he took it to his friends' auto shop, they said the car was perfectly fine and sent it right back to us. Drove it up to Memphis's Volvo dealership the next day or so and they told us then and there, that transmission's gonna cost you 1500. Drove it back home, and whaddya know, transmission is out. What an experience!
Lovely modern classic example. The perforated leather is a little worn for the low mileage, personally I always prefer the non perforated 'Scottish Hyde' Volvo use, it looks better and stays fresher with care.
@@patagualianmostly7437 I've to pick up a newer S80 with perforated Inscription Leather, that looks fantastic in pics. I'm hoping it looks as good in real life, if it does, my mind could be changed :)

kewlbrz07 ..... they wont be doing much longer as they introduce electric cars.....choice is becoming more and more limited with diesel or petrol engines and manufacturers are intentionally offering underpowered vehicles for sale knowing buyers will make electric their next buy
Léon Beaufort go for it. I have a 2007 S80 Summum D5, I love it. Sometimes during maintenance i get to borrow brand new Renaults and honestly this 12 year old car is miles ahead and i wouldnt swap even if it was free. And the V8 version is honestly the best sounding car you can get for less than ~7000 USD.
I only saw one v8 s80 in my life (that i would know of).. but it was quite special, it was used by Monica Bellucci:) Yes v8s are rare here due to road tax and fuel cost..

@AlHamza Al-Ghazawi my 2010 started cracking the leather shortly after I bought it. I still drive the car, but it hurts that the only issue is the interior leather falling apart
@AlHamza Al-Ghazawi well he ment that it does wear off after time a lot, especially light leather interior that looks awful after use, dark half leather would be best. I didnt notice too much wear on other parts than seats
I like the new 4-cylinder engines as well. In my opinion, I6 and V8 engines just aren't meant for Volvo, although I do wish they still had their 5 cylinder diesels. If I were to buy a modern Volvo, I would go for the D5 AWD anyways (in the V90, stunning machine).

@@geoffdundee Volvo is entirely focused on the Chinese market. That's why they got rid of all engines over 2.0L. Engines over 2.0L are highly taxed in China.

Doesn´t realy matter what engine you have if you dont have premium oil and fuil, everything duys, even your russians engines.

2003-2000 volvos had GM autos and they where very bad 2004 had good transmissions

I have the Scottish hide in the Xc90..... I agree, perforated seems a "not-so-good idea" to me.

When u turn ur shifter to the left to “manual” u first turn it into sport. When u go up or down it is manual.
That is not true of the older US spec Volvos. They don't have S mode. Manual only.

How did you fold the mirrors when being in car?
Sarunas M press both right and left mirror button at the same time and they will fold in/out
You can also press one of them while reversing and it will angle downwards so that you can easily see the the curb for example while parking
