I bought my 2010 S80 in 2013 for $23k. Had it now for 10 years and that car has been the best and most reliable car I have ever owned. It now has nearly 140k miles on it and still looks, feels and drives like the day I bought it.
@@jimd2101 car is now 13 years old...no I haven't had that issue.....had check engine sensor issue which the dealer repaired, about 1x per year one of the front light bulbs go out, 2 motor mounts replaced, my windshield wiper fluid container has a total leak somewhere & 3 alternator replacements one which was still under warranty so only paid for 2 replacements & 2 new batteries. I've had it 9 years Overall it's still a better deal than buying a new or newer car. But yes expensive AF to repair. 2022 I spent close to 3k in repairs ): But its been good since.
@@pearlperlitavenegas2023 wow....watch out for stability traction control.....I had that readout....so I had AWD system disconnected. For $165 instead of spending $2000 for a module to fix it....I have rear suspension squeaks.....bushing I'm sure already replaced rear shocks .....did your car make a funny noise when you put it in reverse??.....was that the motor mounts????
And I have never had any of these issues with mine. The car runs like new 13 years later. The only major repair I had was the coolant blower wouldn't switch off and had to be replaced. $1500 repair but over that amount of time, that is nothing. I will never sell this car!
I have a 2010 S80 AWD same color blue on outside and same color inside. I would never sell it. It is the best car I have ever owned. Especially now when if you get a new one the parts are from China.
I have had the same kind of car for 1 year now and i love it .....But to be honest the only reason i bought it was because it has the the 281 hp turbo 6 cyl motor...if it just had 235 hp like this one i wouldn't have bought it.....i would rather have a 6 cyl Camry with 268 hp........So far i had a traction control issue with it so i had to have a dealer disconnect the AWD system and clear the code for $165.....If not i would've had to buy a $2000 control module.....be prepared to spend money on😅😅😅 maintenance
These gen volvos are built to last!
Yes they are . I have a 2013 s60t5 and it is awesome
