Please keep doing these finance videos. Im certainly a player who's interested in playing and getting back into paper TCGs but as a parent and fan of classic Disney I am certainly interested in collecting. Videos like this help a bunch for those who don't have the time to do the thorough research and insight you do.
I think this video lays things out very clearly. The flow is logical for how the prices will likely play out. Out of the dozens of games I have played I think only Pokemon has had the "Golden Ticket" system. At least there it greatly impacts the overall cost of decks, it will be interesting to see exactly how much of an effect it has here. Obviously it will influence everything but the extent remains to be seen. Personally, I don't anticipate I will ever actually play the enchanted cards. Unless it is a limited event or something like that.
I'm after the Enchanteds to collect with the rest of the set (and also planning to play the game), so I appreciate the information of when to go after the Enchanteds for my collection. Thank you!
How do you think enchanted has affected non foil legendary? I think I remember in a previous you predicted non foil legendary would be $150ish to start - but we're already seeing key legendary cards sell for only $30 or so
Yea what really effected the Non Foil Legendarys is they’re distribution seems to be closer to 4-6 a box which will absolutely put their cost to much lower then expected when we assumed 1-2 a box. We expect for them to land in the $20-$40 range with some falling under and over those lines most likely.
im not gonna hunt for them per se but if i find an enchanted card i will probably try to trade for an Aurora (even if at a slight loss - Belle). I love her effect so much and she's probably gonna be a key part of my strategies. Her art is honestly my favorite idk why
I came to this video cause I got one Aurora. I'm trying to realize if I was extremely lucky or if the rates are decent. I was lucky either way, cause I wanted either Aurora or Elsa.
However popular I thought it was going to be I now think it’s exponentially more than even what I thought. My hot take is it will pass yugs to third by end of 2024
@@benjaminwaxman8608 probably a solid deal tbh. Idk that it will go lower for certain. And seeing as alladins next next foil is guaranteed in starter decks. I think it will potentially make the enchanted version more desirable.

I am very glad that these are only alt arts. This is much more consumer friendly than if they were their own unique card.
adding the Enchanted Rarity did wonders for the Legendary Market for sure. makes the game more affordable for the avg players no doubt.

@@TheForbiddenMountain wonderful. Looking forward to it!
Really appreciate it, thanks !

yea maybe if "highlander ess" format picks up, ill aim to "pimp" out that deck with them, aside from that ill be just fine without em haha.

@@TheForbiddenMountain It does, thank you so much. I hope with this info, I won't have to pay as much for them.
Thanks for your analysis. How about the price years from now? I actually have never thought about selling (this soon).
itsa hard to say. Graded ones likely a pretty penny thats for sure.
I am hoping to at least collect one of each of the enchanted cards. If I manage multiples, then it will either be traded for ones I need or sell it.
Can respect that process :-)
Can you pull these in the starter pack booster?
Yes you can
That would be amazing!
Can confirm you can. Pulled an enchanted Simba from my starter deck

@@TheForbiddenMountain awesome thanks for your thoughts - makes the game feel really affordable for playing!
@@foldemort8335 enchanted will 100% make the game more affordable for all. Kudos to RB for adding it.

both of the arts are beautiful so win win if you ask me

How popular are we expecting this game to be?
Many believe it has the potential to grow as large as the big 3 in the TCG space. Time will tell of course.
However popular I thought it was going to be I now think it’s exponentially more than even what I thought. My hot take is it will pass yugs to third by end of 2024
I can buy an alladin for $225 now. Good deal or wait?

I can’t imagine letting my enchanted Mickey go
i think many will share this sentiment. (the frozen fan in me will have a hard time letting Elsa go...)
It might be better if you do though because I think the prices aren't going to hold their value.
