When i was in Vegas last year, this was a giant black sphere under construction. I thought they were building a modern concert/convention center, black in color. Did not think for one moment that they will just cover it up leds and make its exterior a screen! Crazy stuff!!
Technically it is a concert hall. It has seats..stage..ect

This is the coolest idea in entertainment for several decades !
In vegas now and saw it driving by at night…..it is the most futuristic, brightest and biggest view to see. Your eyes get glued with amazement. It doesn’t look real
Props to Jim and the designers and all the construction workers that made this things real. Looks incredible. Cool that it's catered specifically to music and film and the arts. Major success. 👏
It’s going to have sports too
Dana White, president of the UFC said he will try and host UFC fights there starting next year. Very curious how that will look since it looks specifically made for music and arts.
@@joshladd5073 Oh I didn't know that. Thought the new Raiders stadium had that covered. Vegas getting spoiled this year.
@@darynnguyen9825 Guess those seats at the bottom are easily removable. Or maybe it was standing room only. Couldn't quite tell in the other videos.
@@ct6852 yea Dana white said they are goin to do a card there for cinco de myo excuse my soelling and they are doing nba there too summer league and I think the in season tournament
Its amazing. If you go to vegas make sure you can see it from your room

Lol I was thinking the same thing haha.
Thank God someone else noticed😅
They should definitely animate that on there at some point lol
I grew up with access to an IMAX dome theater and I LITERALLY can't wait to get a chance to see this place!!!

I bet an EDM concert there is absolutely mind blowing!
That and also a Tame Impala concert!! Or a KING GIZZARD and the LIZARD WIZARD concert!!!
Another huge effort to keep telling us we live in a sphere. It's so clear now.
So wait it's a giant orb but inside it's only half a stage? I would of been disappointed. $2 billion dollars and you made half a stage. The whole thing should have seats around it. Like a 360 degree show. Now that would be worth two billion.
It looks absolutely incredible, I can't wait to go there!!
@Jimirulz1
I can't wait either!!!
I want to see a great band playing there!!
Can't wait! 😃👏👏
imagine having a metalcore concert here, just wow
I seen it a couple of weeks ago...the blinking eyeball was so cool..it opens just in time for F1 in November
Wow! Can’t wait to experience it.
Jim’s veneers are very nice lol
Can’t wait to go inside of the sphere! So cool!
My guy literally compared it to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
No wonder the Knicks have been terrible this century lol
your guy.. 😂ffs
My mate flies out from the uk 🇬🇧 to see u2 soon . So envious
If our civilisation falls and humanity essentially resets, stories about our achievements will probably live on, and imagine how that sphere would be described..... a massive orb that could artificially visualise anything they wanted to visualise, inside this orb was a theatre with walls that could artificially extend the room visually, or show crazy psychedelic light displays, or the landscape of a completely different country, or the far reaches of space. If all of that wasn't mind-boggling enough, this orb could host nearly 20,000 visitors who'd go to this place to be entertained.
We take all these modern inventions for granted, but these achievements are vastly beyond the imaginations of our predecessors. Much like how we marvel at the architectural achievements of the ancient world and try to fathom the things we have lost to time, there is a possibility that we will be regarded similarly, if the events of the modern world lead to catastrophe.
Wow, that was a beautiful post. Are you a writer?
@@starrfishhill I'm not a writer, but thank you :)
As generations go by, the stories would probably become increasingly supernatural.

The flying car is now available for pre-order, the Santa Clara, California-based company posted on its website. Carrying one or two occupants, the vehicle will sell for about $300,000. Buyers will be able to complete their configuration as production nears, the company, backed by a Tesla investor, said. Went to Vegas Not Long ago and they were still in Process of Building it still which sucked we missed it But going back Soon Cant Wait!!!!
How many graphics card does the new Las Vegas sphere use to run those huge led displays ?
Just wondering how many graphics cards are required to run that huge display, what graphics card and how many of them are used ? What cpu used too ?
So they finally made theaters in feel-a- round?
Got my ticket so excited!
Where is it? I just drove though Vegas on the 15 all the way on the way to Utah, didn't see it
this is prob the best investment las vegas has made in a long time. This dome is blowing up all over instagram and prob on tiktok too. Literally hundreds of millions of impressions. Makes me wanna go to vegas just to see it lol
Omg how beautiful that sphere looks.
I don't get it, so it's the robot inside it and it's a theater? So you get to talk to the robot and see a show/movie?
Would love to see interstellar in this.
WHERE IS THE MISSION TO MARS space station casino and hotel with Planet mars ?
This sphere reminds me of Akira when the explosion of a dark sphere formed around Tokyo.
Cool, so kinda like the sphere 3d cinema at ontario place canada, just on a MUCH more grandiose scale..
Very cool building.
How do you clean that thing?
*How much is the electric bill?*
Meanwhile in the news: "Las Vegas Sphere reports $98.4 million loss; CFO quits"

Yo my dad went to Las Vegas but he did not see that, he's mind blown! It's awesome
I wish people could see things thing in real life and not just on the internet.
So much experience is wasted by looking at things online simply because we have no money or means to see these things in the real world..
Yeah I agree, tickets start at $1000 to see U2
Thanks for the comment man!@@davidpotts1778

As a Vegas Uber driver, the Sphere is no unusual sight. Everyone is making a big deal out of it.
Thousands of people living homeless outside that sphere.
cool
Cool
not my fault they can't grind like I can
Las Vegas way to go America
More infrastructures
This thing is an awesome experience!
At first I was like wow this is great. Then I thought how my rent goes up $200 a year and in two years I won't be able to live there. I had hoped to retire in two years but I guess I should buy a tent. $2.6 billion could have made a lot of unaffordable housing affordable. So, the great divide continues.
That’s insane !!!!! That’s so cool woow I’m definitely gona have to see that in person I’m from California
Melini, yo creo que tu sabes acerca de esta esfera en Las Vaegas. Correcto?
Sería fantástico conocerla en persona!
I would love to see The Disco Biscuits play there.
And you have the getto right across the street towards the north.
What is cost to get in?
That thing looks amazing. Too bad the exterior will most certainly be used solely for God awful advertisements that will be a perpetual thorn in the eye of local residents.
I am sure the local residents of Las Vegas are used to eye sores
They could also use it to display instructions during emergencies too.
Yeah but look at that white thing! It’s like an asteroid or something it’s so cool! 0:20

Cool....to bad we cant do anything about the homeless issue or the migrant issue....but we got this big ol thing
With the right camera and angles they could make that whole sphere invisible.....they should try it. It would freak people out, especially since people are used to seeing it now.
It's the most Las Vegas building that Las Vegas ever built
They're showing us a glimpse of the dome that we all live under. 😮
Americans are suffering necrosis while living
I think the reporter came directly from his high school's cheer squad
take it easy buddy
It would be mind blowing if Madeon performed there, his concerts already have stunning visual effects.
Very informative video.. thank you.
So, you skipped ''whats inside''?
Great Technology illuminated high light spherical beauty.
It’s like the science centre in Vancouver but but the outside of Vancouvers dome isn’t a screen
Thats not a sphere if its flat at the bottom
Something that Gojo Satoru will do
im going to see U2 on december 14th at the sphere!! i cant wait
Im looking at this thing and im like meh.
Im sure it looks way cooler in the real world.
I wonder how long it will take for this to look retro and outdated. It usually happens with things that try to look futuristic.
Long time if I had to guess. The technology is far from practical and the maintenance is going to be expensive. LED billboards fail all the time which means they'll be replacing parts of this sphere every month most likely.
Is it bulletproof?
This’ll be a tourist attraction for years to come
It a whole new level like imax
I thought I was gonna miss that volcano at the Mirage after The Hard Rock decided to get rid of it.
This is way better! When the Mirage opened on Thanksgiving Eve 1989. I was one of many who cruised to look at that man made volcano.
Imagina um show do pink floyd nesse lugar, com todas aquelas imagens psicodélicas, seria de outro mundo
Sem dúvida!
lol this place is going to be surrounded by acidheads in no time
So cool! I saw this and wondered if it was real. Apparently it is! Wow
So cool!!
wonder how much energy it uses?
I'll visit the sphere one day when I get to Las Vegas.
I'll visit the Hello Kitty Cafe, play The Claw, and visit the very weird Omega Mart while I'm there. I live in Arizona, so that'll take us about 3 hours to get there.
If one is built in England. It should be NEAR FOSS PARK…N O T LONDON.. A GREAT LOCATION FOR ALL.
Is it solar powered?
I bet they divided the light bill up between local residents.
If I had to guess what band would play inside a massive futuristic sphere in Las Vegas my first bet would have been U2 and I am both pleased and somewhat uncomfortable that my guess is entirely correct.
I guessed u2 and feel great
Sphere, sphere is the path to the dark side.
I've heard MSG wants to build another sphere in London.
Awesome!!!!!!! I will probably never sit inside it but it's a technological masterpiece for the senses. It certainly has a visual impact from outside and inside.
😎🇦🇺👍
I wonder if the owners of the sphere are going to be liable when people start having automobile collisions due to the distraction. This is very worrisome and possibly unsafe.
Kinda your fault if you're getting distracted, Tokyo is brighter than this
@hatti, ‘Anything drives a car’. It doesn’t look like anyone took that into consideration. (Like usual.). Even the huge Ferris wheel can be a distraction. Plus, It’s losing money ‘hand over foot’. I hear that it (Dome). has lost over $100 million in revenue. / I’m pretty sure that that is within 1/4 earnings.- Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a marvelous creation. I just wish they would’ve put it in a more ‘suitable area’. That’s all. You have yourself a great day! TC.
