We spent 2 weeks in July in the Dolomites, and it was indescribable. We stayed in Ortisei and Cortina and did 4 amazing hikes where we were able to really experience the majestic beauty of the Dolomites!
My friends just went to the Dolomites and they said it was the most incredible place they have ever been to in the world. Much love from Queensland. 💙💙
@@flyingthenest So they actually own a house in Italy (jealous 😂) but decided to take a trip to the Dolomites as a family since all their family members were coincidently in Italy. They went to Lago di Braies, Lago di Sorapis and Val di Funes. By the way can you pleaseeeee do more trips around Australia because it's such a beautiful country and the world needs to see that. I am Italian and I saw this beautiful video. Unfortunately in recent years mass tourism is ruining these beautiful mountains. Endless queues along the single-lane roads at any time, too many people along the paths, the noise of cars and motorbikes coming from the streets during our excursions. Unfortunately we are forced to take our holidays in autumn where the tourists leave but the colours are much more beautiful. I wanted to tell you these things to raise awareness among you but also among all the people who would like to come to the Italian Alps. Please respect them, thank you.
I was in the Dolomites last month and I swear I had the thought “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video from Jess and Stephen in the Dolomites, they should come here”. Little did I know 😂 I’m back in aus now so loving the recent memories this video brings back for me!
Fun vlog. Kids were so sweet. Can't wait for the next videos. That pancake dessert was "Kaiserschmarrn" from an Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph the first.. it is eatten all over the Alpine region in Austria, Germany, Italy etc. Ie. It is not specific to the Dolomites and comes from Austria. A great way to get to the top of mountains for the views fast. Interesting how the Alps looks the same everywhere, no matter what country.

What an amazing video you guys! I've seen hundreds if not thousands of Italy vlogs, but not one of them has ever been in the Dolomites. It's absolutely breathtaking. It's so crazy because you feel like your in the Swiss Alps instead of Italy! I have come to really love cities and towns that border other countries (like Strasbourg, France) because it's such a culture blend. The architecture of one country, the cuisine of both, unmatched scenery. Thank you for taking us along, as always! ❤
When you go to the mountains remember to dress appropriately because the temperature can change very suddenly. Look at what the mountain people wear and you will understand. Greetings from Italy.
Such a breathtakingly beautiful part of the world. I love the little look backs you add sometimes as I remember them well. Like Hunter’s second birthday. Koa is such a very beautiful baby and so placid. It was also so cute Hunter taking Koa’s menu order. She is certainly an expert on table service! I don’t remember exactly when you started vlogging but I’ve seen every vlog. My mind often goes back to the last one of your one year trip with Jess sitting on the floor in the airport crying because she didn’t want it to be over and just look at your beautiful family now and how much you’ve inspired others to travel. ❤

@@namenlos40 Just stop it, please! We're so tired of you. South Tyrol is Italy, it's always been of Ladinic (Latin) culture, despite forced germanization imposed by the austrian empire. Plus, our roman ancestors also founded Wien under the name of Vindobona. So stop it for good! We all know our history. Enough is enough! If you feel austrian, just cross the border to your country and be happy.
Watching my beloved Country through your eyes makes me feel full of pride for Her! I love that you love Italy. Next time you should visit the southern part and the Italian main Islands: Sardinia (where I'm from) and Sicily. They are amazingly beautiful! Can't wait for the next Italian episodes!!
