Well, I wouldn't agree the Sweden has such good healthcare,, education etc. Sure, it's considered "free" by most Swedes, although paid by (very high) taxes. My dad said he had his name tattooed on his knuckles.

@@elm57 😃
I swear, Cecilia, every week I say THIS is my fave video.. and then you post another great one! I miss Fenris' sweet little face so much! And Wivi is just a baby doll! Thanks to Einar & Olivia for sharing their beautiful home with us. :)

I lived in both Colorado and the Sierra Mountains in Northern California. I love snowy winters! I now live near the ocean in Washington state, so while we usually have at least one snow per winter, I really miss the snow. I think I would be very at home in the woodlands of Sweden! Thank you so much for sharing your visit to your friend's wonderful farm!
One day I'll move to Sweden. I love everything about this country. Started learning Swedish very recently, so that I'm ready to go when the time has come.
This is not Sweden. This is Norway. She doesn't even know which country she's in.
Omg man... She is Sweedish... she knows... she just lives in Svalbard. You did not even watch the video... because she said she is from Gotebotg
Same here. My boyfriend is from Sweden and everything about their culture fascinates me. Can’t wait to move there!
@@kungjocke9446 This is in deed Sweden🧐
I just found out both my sister and brother napped outside in USA in New Jersey, NY area. They were born in the winter, and slept better outside. My grandmother was German and did that with my mother and her sisters. My mother felt the more fresh cold air the better, all year! Windows open at night all year.
Thank you so much for taking us along to see Olivia, Einar, and Fenris -- and getting to meet the baby! She's adorable!! So good to see them again and their place is GORGEOUS! They really found a wonderful property!
I wish learning multiple languages was pushed more in the U.S. Yes, schools teach certain languages here, but I wish kids were encouraged to start learning at a younger age, so as to retain it more.
Whenever I watch content from creators outside the states, I’m always amazed at just how many languages they know! Your content is the best, Cecilia and your friends are just wonderful.
One of my favorite videos! I’ve missed Einar, Olivia and most definitely FENRIS! So happy for them. The baby is beautiful! Congratulations on their little one and their new life in Sweden, which is absolutely magical…WOW! So beautiful! The landscape is breathtaking 😍. I’ll miss seeing Fenris come out on the videos here and there 😢
Ainar (spelling?) has always been my favorite friend. In Svalbard he was always so friendly, funny, light hearted, and nice. I miss him. Olivia did not miss the Svalbard supermarket, so I was looking forward to seeing her supermarket, but didn't see it.
Einar 😃
This is one of happiest videos I think I have ever watched. This just makes feel so cozy and peaceful, even warm inside even though it’s cold an snowy outside.
Omg! I needed this video today. Totally was living vicariously thru it for 30 minutes. I could feel my blood pressure drop. Stunning. What a beautiful family, and friendship. ❤
I went to Sweden last July and I absolutely loved it. Sweden is an awesome country to visit and I loved every second of my time there
Where did you go in Sweden? How is the food?!?
@@kar460 I went to Helsingborg and Älmhult, and I also rode the train down from Narvik Norway down to Copenhagen Denmark. Other than the train, it was pretty much just day trips out from Copenhagen.
@@kar460 also the food was really nice. We had lunch at the IKEA museum in Älmhult and it was really nice.
So good to see them all! Have missed Fenris' soulful eyes and Einar's laugh. So lovely to hear more from Olivia. She has done a beautiful job getting the main house so whimsical!
BTW those drone shots at the end with the streetlights that looked like fire? Magnificent!
I wouldn't call Östersund a "village"... It's a mid-sized Swedish city with 65.000 inhabitants. I hope that you @CeciliaBlomdahl had the opportunity to explore Östersund and the island of Frösön. It's one of the most beautiful cities in Sweden.
So so beautiful!!! I am an American of Irish/German descent but for some reason I am obsessed with this land, this Sweden! My heart aches to come there…maybe to live? Definitely a long visit at the very least! This was such an enjoyable video!! Thank you for sharing your trip!!
After finding your content a couple months ago and now binging it, I can't help but find it so amazingly adorable to hear you lose your English words. It's funny to me because I know how well-spoken you are in English and it seems so relatable to lose your words in a certain language even though I can only speak English but I can only imagine how difficult it is to think in two languages lol
Love your video! I have pictures of myself 75 years ago on my Pram outside in NY for my nap too!
Cecilia what a beautiful location! The light in the sky at night and the rosy glow on the snow, combined with your photos and music made me cry it was so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your journey with us.❤
Sweden is absolutely beautiful!!! It is unreal! Thank you for sharing all these amazing places I will not be able to see in this lifetime! I appreciate it!! Living vicariously through your youtube channel!
My American friends were horrified when I told them about the babies napping outside AND women parking the pram on the street and popping into a little store to shop a bit. It's hilarious. My niece worked in a daycare in Copenhagen for a year while studying abroad and she was telling us about the naps and the free play times for the young kids. I think it's fabulous.
Those wide plank floors are beautiful. What a lovely area. And the town is so beautiful.
The smallest desert is in Yukon, Canada, within the arctic circle. It's Carcross (short for caribou crossing), and it's 1 mile across and down. It's also as peaceful as your bit of heaven.
Beautiful and Sweden has one of the worlds best health care systems, education, social service supports/social nets in the world. What a beautiful country thank you for sharing a piece of it with us.
Well, I wouldn't agree the Sweden has such good healthcare,, education etc. Sure, it's considered "free" by most Swedes, although paid by (very high) taxes. You can't count on getting medical care due to VERY long queues. It's not uncommon to wait over three years to have surgery. Sweden used to have the best education in Europe, together with Finland. Now Sweden has dropped to around place 15. It's very sad.
Swedish homes are always lovely ?I went there 25 yrs ago.
@@shipper-Zthe taxes aren't that high for what you get compared to other countries. Speaking from experience.
@@user-qu1yp8bh8c That's not my experience. What countries are you referring to? Have you ever tried to get medical treatment in Sweden?
@@shipper-Z the Netherlands, and I know multiple people who have the same experience. Yes I've had medical treatment here (Sweden), didn't face any issues.
There just aren't enough or descriptive enough words to express how much I love this video. The area they have moved to ,is my idea of paradise, and as a tree lover..love all the beautiful trees. Most of all ,the friendship between all of you is so wonderful.Blessings to all of you in your beautiful homes, and bless your friendships!♥️♥️♥️
💖🌲🐦
Cecilia, you are such a beautiful soul. Your beautiful smile, warm and friendly personality and the way you find so much joy in the little things is inspiring and it’s what makes you “you”. Thank you for making these videos and taking us along. 🤗🤍✨
very pretty. My Great Grandfather emigrated to the U.S from Sweden. we believe from Tjorn on the west coast but not sure. Axel Anderson. Family Story is he was a fisherman who came across the Atlantic ocean in an ocean liner with his wife to scout for the rest of the family. he then took an ocean liner back to Sweden and got all of his brothers and their families together and came back in their fishing boat, settling in the sheepshead bay neighborhood in Brooklyn NY. My dad said he had his name tattooed on his knuckles.
I love how you describe the day, the scenery and how it makes you feel❤
So nice to see Fenris. I’ve missed him.
I love all of your content but the ads with Grim are hilarious! Great video and thank you!
What. A. DREAM❣️. Oh my lands. My grandparents are from Sweden and my grandfather was raised in a farm in that area. I can’t help but imagine, “What if that’s where he lived”. Thanks for the wonderful dreams.
Cecilia, I've been watching your videos for over 1 year, they just keep getting better and better. Nowadays I never want them to end! This one actually made me cry. The natural beauty, the people, the music - you created magic. Loved the Grimm ad as well, lol. This short video had it all for me - the laughter, the tears, the longing to be there too. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. 🥰
Oh Cecilia I believe we would fit right in on Svalbard. My ancestors originated from Scandinavia.
I live in America.. Houston, Texas.
Way too many people for this country girl.
Thank you for your amazing channel!!!!
Much ❤
Grim participating in your NordVPN ad segment was perfect! I never watched an ad so closely 😂❤🐶
It's so hard when your best friends move away, this has happened so many times throughout my life. Now that I'm firmly "upper middle aged" I've just come to terms with the fact that I'll probably never have that kind of friend again, except for my fiance, but that's not the same thing.
Also so good to see Fenris again, he's such a good doggo!
So lovely to hear your Gothenburg accent coming through with the "Öööh forest car rooaad" 😂❤ Greetings from a fellow Göteborgare in Australia
😂😂😂🤝🏻😊
@@CeciliaBlomdahl You'll have to tell your readers how "Gothenburg" is pronounced in Swedish: I think it is so lovely!
I went to a farm in Pennsylvanis USA and they had the same set up where the cow choose went to milked (they got cow cookies during milking) and they had those big car wash brushes too. The milk from there was fantastic. Their butters and cream had a much higher fat content which made them incedable to bake with. I wish it was not 4 hours away.
I just experienced cuteness overload between the baby smiling so brightly and Grim smiling into the camera my heart just melted a thousand times. Awww i could watch those scenes over and over. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I just love Christopher being Talkative in videos makes my day
Me and my wife we have just been to Östersund for vacation just 1 week ago, we didn´t knew anything about the city, but it turned out an amazing place to visit and to spend time, with gorgeous views and amazing people. We have literally been to the same coffee shop "espresso house" and it was my first ever encounter with SEMLOR, which I felt in love with.
@CeciliaBlomdahl I cried because it’s so beautiful.🥹😭🫶🏼 If I could I would live in Sweden or Norway. Their property is spectacular and I love both houses, but the main one is my dream house including the wallpaper. 😍 Wiv is so darling! You’re so good with kids and animals. They can sense your sweet spirit. Looking forward to new adventures on Svalbard and hopefully in Norway and Sweden.🤞🏻 Thank you for another supremely magical video.✨🙏🏻
Your friends have a big house but very dark inside, depressing dark colors, dark curtains, hideous black and white checkered floor.... my Lord..... Outside is beautiful.
Thanks for the tour ❤
Olivia speaks in pretty much a near perfect American accent.
It's sad that they're gone but I'm glad you were together again. ❤
How do you know it's American? It could be Canadian. I'm Canadian, and thought the same thing, but substitute Canadian for American. It's probably better to say that she sounds North American.
There are different accents within the USA, depending on which part of the country you are in.
@@FootballFanLeanne I know. Same in Canada.
I was going to ask if Olivia is American or lived in the US for awhile, as she sounds very American, not Canadian.
@@CallieMasters5000I disagree. She sounds as if she could be Canadian too. You'd be surprised by how many popular Canadian actors, singers, and comedians there are in the US, that most Americans are unaware they're even Canadian. The difference in accents, unless they're Southern Americans, or from Atlantic Canada, between Canada and the States isn't that much.
I am Canadian but my grandfather is Swedish. I was lucky enough to visit Sweden and his sisters families a few years back. Sweden is beautiful and I would love to live there!
Grim wearing glasses 😍
Talking about space, My wife and I have downsized our lives. We went from a 3000 square foot 4 bed 3 bath and three car garage house to a 800 square foot tiny home out in the country. Our children are grown and out starting their lives. It’s taking some getting used to but we are loving it so far. Just wish we could get that kinda snow where we are.
Finland also does the same, leaving the babies outside to sleep, Typical Nordic culture
The benefits of low crime, in the states we wouldn't dare we actually had an amber alert last night for a child abduction 😢
I don’t remember it ever being done in the U.S., even before the era of crime. It’s just a different tradition. I like the idea. It would take some getting used to.
To an American, this is mind blowing!
I had my son in the UK and would leave him to sleep, bundled up outside in my garden within my view. My Mum told me that she used to do the same with me and my siblings.
Yes I did that with all my 4 kids in the Swedish winter, they were sleeping outside the door, I was checking them very often ofcourse and they slept like angels❤
I happened upon a TH-cam video called Geography by Geoff and he was talking about Svalbard. It was so exciting since I knew that was where you lived. I'm always so happy to see one of your videos. 😊❤
They have such a beautiful home and property! And the area they live in is so lovely too! I love how Olivia has decorated their home, so magical with the whimsical wallpaper and trinkets!
Never a dull moment with you and Christopher. It would be fun to have you as a friend ❤
In Canada we call it a "logging road" 😊
Cecilia you make any place you are in magical and beautiful! you are such a special person! whenever i feel stressed or anxious or overwhelmed I watch you videos and my heart is healed.
It’s definitely not US or Irish culture, (I’m American living in Ireland) but I have had all 4 of my babies nap outside and they absolutely love it. They sleep so well. I put them at the back glass patio doors in a locked yard and I can see them the whole time. They could sleep up to 3 hours💕
Years ago, babies slept outside in their prams in Ireland. Ask an old Irishwomen.
@@helenacaliendo5655 you know you’re right my granny put my mom and siblings outside in the 50’s all bundled up in one of those silver cross prams with the big wheels. Probably where I got it from🙃
I can’t get over how beautiful Sweden is in the winter))))
I’m originally from Scotland and we were left outside for our naps as babies too.
Hi. Thank you, Cristofer, Olivia, Einar, and Wivi for sharing all of this with us. Much love! ♥ Cecilia and Christofer- if you both decide to move one day, we support you. Live your life as you want. We will follow. 👣
One of my favorites! I've re-watched this I don't know how many times now...Love their home(s) & the way they're able to walk down the road for fresh milk...What a dream!
Loved this post! I'm going to show this to my husband. His great-grandparents were Swedish and we've talked about going there, perhaps moving there. I can so see myself living out in the country like your friends, especially if there are great neighbors like them around. Beautiful. I love forests and snow!
I'm just now watching this episode. I'm so glad that I have! I didn't realize how much I missed seeing Olivia and Anar and their beautiful baby girl❤
It is not where you live, it is the love which a person brings to place.
"Loggin road." What an amazing video. So good to see Olivia & Ainar, and meet the baby! It's a beautiful place. And TH-cam commercial award for Grim!!!
That is also how things are in Vietnam. People come and go every few years. I, myself have gone and come back 3 times in the last 17 years. So in total, I have lived 5 years in Hanoi and 5 in Saigon. But a few have stayed the entire time. And they are what brings me back. So now, the plan is to settle just like my closest friends who have been here 18 years. Its just a place where life can be so easy and just as interesting.
Cecilia saying 0/+1 degrees is "toasty" makes my Mediterranean Spanish mind giggle nervously. Much love from down south!
I have the biggest smile on my face. I love this introduction of your friends. What a special relationship you have with them and how wonderful it is that you get to visit them in their new jaw dropping home… Sweden! Things are so different over there. You continually inspire me to live slower. ❤
I loved every part of this video!!! ❤😊 people, pets, Sweden, friends, beautiful property, the woods, the dairy…..
Ah, the love of my life, Fenris. I just want to hug that sweet boy.
