would the drt even with upgraded tires be a better commute on road? or put regular tires for road on drt maybe? i like this bike because motor is 750 watts so wont get impounded
My full suspension OR + Boost (35A controller) hits 40mph in the flats (195lb + Tannis Armor). I have the dual battery (52V 40aH) set up with the dual battery balancer and on FLAT ONLY gets me about 50 miles total and I get about 35-40 miles with aggressive coastal mountains (never dropping lower than 18mph on even the steepest inclines). It's been a great little bike for running errands, going to pickleball, rides down to the ocean for evening cruises and back. The biggest thing is not the top speed for me on the flats, but rather the torque to not drop so much speed on the severe coastal mountains and hills. That is where the 35A controller really makes a difference. I am dealing with about 300-500ft of ascent each ride and leaving it in Class 2 for those hill just leads to sooo much velocity drop. Question: Did you notice any major drop offs at 75% battery, 50% battery and 25%? I feel like once it drops 50% you do get a step down in power. Thus, having the dual battery helps keep performance high for much longer in the ride.
Thanks for the info. I definitely wish I had the FS. What's weird is I find better performance between 90%-50% and then it significantly drops off. When it's fully charged, it doesn't seem to have all the juice either. It's weird that way. It's a great bike, especially for the price.
Go check out the Revv1 here: go.ride1up.com/SH5E (affiliate link)
Nice video! Thanks for sharing
everyone seems to love the rev1, the only thing its missing is the thumb brake regen
Full suspension all the way if you go with the Revv1. The battery alone is worth the extra price.
I’m gonna have to agree. Hope to review one soon.
Mad respect ✊🏼 for riding in 39 degree weather!!! 😮
Us in Cali would literally not even go outside to get our mail at that temp!!!
🤘🏼🫡💯🍻
I ride around norcal when it's around that temp lol

Oh man! How long was the walk home?
Luckily, less than a mile.
I’m confused with the range and the wind while you were talking can you please tell me what was the range with full battery please 🙏🏻
Just under 16 miles
Good range test..btw what was your average speed on this test?
Just shy of 15 MPH
Trying to decide between revv1 or the 700 series.... HELP!!
Why couldn’t you peddle the rest of the way home? Is it too heavy?
Yeah, especially up hill. If it had gears, it would be doable.
Next test: Ogden Bike Park
Ogden would excommunicate me.
