    Great basket for keeping yarn or current project! I’ve saved this and texted it to myself so I can make it. Love this! Thank you!

    Great tutorial. Mine came out really nice. I'd like to make a smaller one, how do I reduce the number of stitches in porportion. Thanks!!!!!

    New to crocheting. Love this project.
    Could you tell me how many scanes of Bernet Blanket Yarn I would buy if I'm not using scraps? #6??Thank You!

      Thank you! 😊 Approximately 2 balls of Bernat blanket yarn should be enough

    I’m on row 10 and my basket is quite floppy, will the sides get more sturdy as I build it up? Or should I start over before I get too far 😅

      So the sides of the basket are not exactly rigid. They also hold their shape better when there’s something in the basket. However, there is no increase in the number of stitches on the sides, so it should grow straight up. If you’re concerned, just make sure that your tension is not too loose. If your stitches are on the looser side, it will grow out a bit and could bow out and then become overly floppy. Hope that helps and good luck😊

    I love this but my basket keeps ending up with a weird beak on one side, what am I doing wrong?

      Hmm, not sure. Maybe you’re adding an extra stitch at the end of each round? There’s no chain at the beginning of each round either. Double check your stitch count after each round as well. It’s listed in the pattern. Link in description.

    What kind of yarn are you using? Can I use regular 4 ply yarn?

    • @mgdcrochet
      @mgdcrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bernat blanket yarn. Yes you could use 4 ply, but the basket will be smaller.

    It looks lovely but for a complete new by at this it went to fast. I could see how you began or what happened exactly after that. 🤷‍♂️
