    More great tips. Thanks man. You inspire me to practice, practice, practice and some day I'll make it to Carnegie Hall :) How about seeing your technique of tracking someone from the front with the camera over your shoulder (LCD spun to front) and then spinning to grab them as they walk past you. :)

    • @MomentumProductions1992
      @MomentumProductions1992  7 ปีที่แล้ว

    When You had him in the middle going around him did you turn your hand a lil to make the crane turn with you.

    • @MomentumProductions1992
      @MomentumProductions1992  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, I kept my radius the same throughout the shot and the crane tracked the subject very well :)

    • @weshootfilms
      @weshootfilms 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Momentum Productions I tried to do that and the crane would end up looking at me lol. I hold it still and as I turn the camera would drift and not stay centered.

    Great shots... I got a question, is it possiblemount a regular camcorder on the crane other than a DSLR? Well I would like to buy a crane but this doubt keep me away from buyin'
    My camcorder is almost 1Kg (2.2 lbs) what I think is that reflex camera has the screw thread in the very back, the camcorder has it in the middle of the body, so between the thread and the back-end of the camcorder there is a 11 centimeter of space. And maybe because of that it can't be mounted in the crane because there not to much space..... by the pics and video I can't figure it out. So better ask someone who has it.
    Well I hope you can help me.
    Thank you.
    Greeting from Italy

      I've had a Sigma 10-20mm 3.5 which is made for crop sensor cameras. It is freaking awesome. Pretty sharp even if its an older lens design from sigma (not Art branded). And its well built! I've dropped mine from a X-ray table on an airport. It works perfectly ill this day,
      Also you can mount if on canon fullframes. You get a great vignette perfect round circle effect at 10mm and its gone at the longest end of the lens.
