Fun fact about this level. It was originally supposed to be the starting level of 8-bit Sonic 2 before it swapped places with Underground zone.

The music sounds like a 16-bit anime track, but THIS IS a super banger!
11/10
The best remix of Green Hills
But what if: green hills zone = never lake zone?
Really nice. I’m not the biggest fan of the project itself but I think you knocked the OST out of the park for the most part.
Thanks mate. And I get, I myself see a lot of flaws with the project, but I'm hoping we'll be able to improve uppon that for the next release.
i used this as the main theme of my project (Sonic 3 Reimagined: Wild To The West) (not sure with the name tho)

Oh, right, you're the guy who made the Scrambled Egg remix. Good to see you, mate.
@@Sovic91 good to see you too!
this gameplay made me think like;
"man, the master system level design would not work out on the sega genesis in any ways."
since the master system games is more about exploration cause y'know.. emeralds.
Well, a bit of the emerald huning element might return in the next release, but it will be a bit easier.
0:18 wait is a Sonic CD intro?
Fun fact, the Sonic CD intro (You can do anything) is itself a remix of Green Hills Zone from 8-bit Sonic 2, but yes, I have also taken some inspiration from that particular rendition.
@@Sovic91 Waos 🗿
I thought Green Hills Zone was a remix of Sonic CD's intro.
@@MrEvilbyte Well, I guess it's not completely impossible. They were composed by the same guy, and around somewhat the same time, but Green Hills got out first (1992) and CD was after that (1993)
