    Love adorable little Venus and enjoy your videos. Now that we’re a bit older and have two westies travelling with us, so doing less portage trips, so it was interesting to see what Canisbay paddle in sites were like. Looked more private than I would have thought. Sweet canoe-you have good quality gear taste! Tried Kingscott after watching your vid-paddled down the lake-never going there again! Too noisy-too many kids and teens. Canisbay looks better. We were on Farm Lake for 11 days through Thanksgiving-awesome colours, beautiful warm weather till the weekend and the snow!

      Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that Kingscote was noisy for you… that sucks! Where is Farm Lake?

    I stayed on that exact site the weekend before for a night but it got too cold at night so I left the next day. I processed a TONNE of wood (yes you can use the deadfall to burn ), but I see someone used most of it and left you a small pile.
    :( Alot of downed trees on the site. Have never had that many on a site before. Would be a nice site in the summer for swimming with the sandy beach.

    Hey, we’re going to be backcountry camping with the kiddos this summer on Canisbay Lake and wondering what site number this is. Looks like a family friendly spot.

      Hi there! The sites aren’t numbered, but it’s the closest site to the launch point on the left. It’s a great site! Enjoy!! ♥️

      I didn’t see a single person the whole time I was there! I was surprised.

    I’ve been considering a trip like this myself. Did you have to reserve a site in advance?

    • @sallycooper7677
      @sallycooper7677 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is Algonquin Park canoe-in backcountry. You don't reserve a SPECIFIC site, just a spot on the lake then you find a site - first come first serve, but yes you do have to reserve in advance.
