    What was the Twig stove, canteen, cup kit you were using?

      I bought all the items in the kit separately on Amazon. They have a lot of kits available now though depending what you’re looking for.
      The canteen bottle I use is a Nalgene Oasis canteen bottle.

      Here is just one link example of the cup/stove kit.

    How long does it take to hike from your car to the site. Thank you.

      Just a few minutes depending on what site you select.

      @@Camp_the_woods Ontario parks isn't seeing and hike in sites. Do you book this as a paddle in site

      Yes, I just checked to see if they changed it or not. Just regular backcountry paddling section. When you choose Kingscote, the bottom green triangle on the map should say ‘walk-in’ when you select it. They were first come first served when I went, not sure if they changed that or not.

    I'm taking my baby to this lake for her first backcountry camping trip later this summer. Any recommendations on which sites are the best?

    • @Camp_the_woods
      @Camp_the_woods  ปีที่แล้ว

      I always like the waterfront sites the best. They have either paddle in, or hike in.
