It's definitely dated now, but was very nice for that time. No doubt the new windows really helped cut down the traffic noise. The big driveway is a big plus living on a busy street like that.

Evidently, the seller made a mistake. The house was supposed to be listed at $350k, not $250k.
I thought they asked $250K initially but Tarek bought it for $350K .... What happened there ??

Jeff Lawrence is actually a likeable guy
They had plenty of room to add more cabinets and an island in the kitchen. The kitchen looks more like you'd find in a small apartment.
This episode looks 10+ years old around when they first got their show on HGTV, they probably had less network money to spend when they started out lol.

That sun blasted backyard will need trees, a patio cover, the front yard needs a fence for kids, to block noise and the ugly view. The inside looked dated even after the redo, and the choppy little rooms would make me nuts! Know this is an ancient video.
I think what you said reaffirms the reason why people should avoid being trendy when it comes to tile in kitchens, on floors and in bathrooms. Also when it comes to faddish floors in other parts of a house. Classic designs stay in style longer.

@@djjones7039 By bouncing off sound waves to a certain degree. Not a solution, but a help. It's why you see fences along an interstate in a residential area-it helps to block traffic noise.

Wtf who pays $100,000 OVER THE ASKING PRICE?!? I’d never do that. Buuut then again I’ll never have that much money to be able to even buy it for the hundred racks less 🤦♀️😂
