Love the fire in that obsidian! Very nice! And those agates are always amazing man! I’m so happy Lisa sent me some to work with 😁 but wow are they hard 😅 🤘 great stuff as always thanks for sharing!
Some AMAZING rocks this time. Gorgeous. Kim’s painting is beautiful. The shadow on the mountain is perfect. I like Alexis’ second pour, and look forward to seeing your when you finish it. Don’t forget to show us. But HOLY COW Alexis’ first pour is PERFECTION! My favorite peacock colors and sort of cool paisley shapes. Fabulous!
Wow! What fabulous cuts! My favorite would have to be the ammonite! But every one of them was fabulous and your paint pours were awesome! The first one of alexis was my favorite. The colors and the texture was phenomenal! What a fun day! And the one that kim painted, the mountain scene, was fabulous also. Great day all around! Thanks to kim and drogon!
What beautiful slabs, love the fire obsidian, can’t wait to see what you do with that! That first one was amazing, looked like a nest of black millipedes! Love the fact that it is fluorescent, the septarian dragons eye I have fluoresce orange like that too. Very cool pours you guys did! They are so much fun!A fun day! Thanks Theo, and Hi to Alexis and M. R. Mom!
Love that Ammonite, great cutters... Nice little fire with the green obsidian ( green is a very hard to come by obsidian)👌, Kyle and I are going to sit down hopefully next summer and go through my fire obsidian, to see what's workable... Great video and material.... Excellent artwork by the gals too..👍
Way to go! Slabbing and paint pouring!? I love it! Some of the slabs Montana Rock Mom has done remind me of some really cool paint pours! Excellent video!
Whoa!!! That slice of ammonite looks really close to the weird shape "visions" I've been getting the last couple of weeks behind my eyes just before I go to sleep at night. Freaky. Really like the fire obsidian. That first pour Alexis did is really very beautiful. You'll have to show your paint pour when it's done. Kim's painting is a beauty. I love all the seasons but Winter just has some of the coolest things to show off.
Awesome rocks the fire obsidian was super cool. And they all have such unique patterns and designs. Was nice to see your saw hostess also. Havent seen a new video from her in a while.
Wow Alexis, love your paintings. Kim, you are so talented! Love the winter mountain scene! And thanks Theo, always enjoy the cutting videos. And love how excited you are.
I love that huge ammonium, wow. The pain pours are are awesome. The first one Alexa did is so freaking amazing. Kim's painting is beautiful. Just an all around great video.
Looks like fun day! I love the ammonite and the probable iris agate. The other slabs are beautiful too. Awesome paintings! Actually, Wil from Wil Bond Cajun Rockhound channel originally started the Stud or Dud show at least a year ago. It is such a good phrase that quite a few other channels have started using it. Thanks for sharing Theo!
Wowza. What great cuts. Beautiful inside. I love the paintings. The one you think is a flower is really looking up from deep inside a volcano erupting. I loved all the paintings except for one. I won't say which one but a girl did not do it. Maybe after it's finished. Neat that a spot of rainbow showed itself in the obsidian. Poor Drogon, all hot and tired. It does need a rest. We hope you all keep having fun and dazzle the art world. We need better shots of the art. Cheers 🥂
Between the art of nature and the art of you guys, this was an epic video! The brecciated chert and pet wood is fascinating, the fire obsidian is jaw dropping, the moss agate is gorgeous and the ammonite is way cool! Never heard of paint pour before but I love it!
When I see 'slab' cuts, it reminds me of a countertop 🤔...would be cool to lay out beautiful slabs and cover with plexiglass or ?, and have that as your countertop 🤔😁🤭
I have a theory about those weird wood grained type ones like the one here. They were already semi rotted logs when they got crushed under the weight of whatever event encapsulated everything and started the petrification process. That's how you get the void spaces where there was no viable wood filled with chert and the wood fragments themselves petrified in situ.
I really hope I got the verdict correct on the fire. (In my defense, identifying stuff virtually is hard for certain things😅) However, if I'm wrong, I'll give away a piece of fire.
The ammonite was so cool but the star of the video is that green sheen obsidian with fire obsidian inside! WOW! Seeing that beauty made my day!
Love the fire in that obsidian! Very nice! And those agates are always amazing man! I’m so happy Lisa sent me some to work with 😁 but wow are they hard 😅 🤘 great stuff as always thanks for sharing!

I love the 1st painting Alexis did. It reminds me of peacock feathers. :)
Wow! What fabulous cuts! My favorite would have to be the ammonite! But every one of them was fabulous and your paint pours were awesome! The first one of alexis was my favorite. Thank You for this video, looks like you guys had a great time. I love being creative and trying new things. You cut some really nice stones.
All of them are great ,it’s the ammonite for me!❤❤❤
Love all the paintings! Nice rocks, too. Happy New Year.

Wow! All those were so impressive inside! Working some overtime while it’s cold… I’m hoping to take my lapidary game up this spring
Between the art of nature and the art of you guys, this was an epic video! The brecciated chert and pet wood is fascinating, the fire obsidian is jaw dropping, the moss agate is gorgeous and the ammonite is way cool! Never heard of paint pour before but I love it!
9:36 I’ve been waiting for this one

Does anyone else see a kiwibird between trees in alexis' painting? and that fire obsidian is EPIC :D
Kim! MRM! Haven’t seen you lately.
The girls are so cute, especially when they mock you Theo. 😂
😂 level the table Alexis.
Alexis is a polar bear in a snow storm. lol nice job
I would love to see you make some jewelry out of that obsidian

The ammonite was my favorite and the one that didn't get cut all the way very cool. And how do you do the paint poor very cool
So many awesome rocks. Every one was special. But, my favorite is the ammonite. Is that typical patterning for ammonite slabs?
Good friend
The cool thing about paint pours is they look completely different after they dry
I too am a pour painter! The cells turned out amazing! What did she use for cell activation?
Wow Theo I’ve never seen anything like that ammonite
Petrified OSB? 🤣
That ammonite was freakin cool! Looks like you were lucky to have escaped with paint just on your cheeks lol! Those are two very mischievous ladies.😂.
How long does it take to cut a slab?
Who would have thought I would ever be a first 💜
I really hope I got the verdict correct on the fire. (In my defense, identifying stuff virtually is hard for certain things😅)
However, if I'm wrong, I'll give away a piece of fire.
Maybe you should have him send it back to you for “inspection”. Yeah inspection…. We’ll run with that.😂
👍
