Nice. Didn't know I needed to pry from the front. Almost broke the edge of the plastic below the switches by prying from there, lol. All those people saying to remove the entire door liner on that forum are insane.
Nice tutorial! It’s ridiculous that VW got rid of rain gutters for fashion reasons, which means that now rain drips from the roof directly onto this electronic switch.

Had to do this on my coupe
It’s made life so much better
i bought one from amazon. the middle button that locks the window doesn’t work. other than that everything works.
Check that it’s plugged all the way in underneath the switch. Or see if you can get a replacement, I didn’t have any problem with mine.
