Bless you for the awesome video, and also explanation for the Starbuck lovers in need of money saving tips. I don't go to Starbuck but a short two times in recent years, but I want to have my own at-home café. It would be mainly herbal tea and hot cocoa as my belly hates coffee. I was wondering how to make syrup in case I get black tea as I noticed flavored black tea not really taste like anything but black tea. I also want to flavor cocoa. Very lovely vid, 5 stars or 10 on a scale of 10. As for bloopers, sounds like me, but I got mild speech impediment. I was wondering, have you ever made dreamsicle flavor? If so, how much vanilla extract have you used with orange extract?
I made this with a third of a vanilla bean today and stored it in the fridge. Can’t wait to taste the results, and if it is good I’ll buy more vanilla beans!
I'm struggling to understand why it would spoil so quickly.. Is it the vanilla bean/vanilla bean paste that spoils? Because neither water, salt or sugar would spoil... Or am I missing something?
So clearly there’s a huge difference between favoring and extract then? Could I possibly make a syrup with my ube flavoring? Or would I need straight ube extract? 🤔
Flavoring will work - it all depends on the flavors you like! I personally much prefer pure vanilla extract over imitation vanilla flavoring, but Starbucks uses flavorings, so if you like their signature flavor, flavoring would actually be a closer approximation. If you like how your ube flavoring tastes, it would probably be good in a syrup!
How long should I wait before I lid it ! I just got done with everything, I put the syrup in the mason jar and now i’m js sitting here I guess waiting for it to vent??
This girl, love her , she showed how to make not one but like 4 syrups 🎉
I am really glad I discovered you this morning! You were so helpful, and you made me chuckle at the end. :) Thank you! Blessings!
Incredible video and beautifully shot!!! You've got a subscriber here.

How was it?
Great video and good work going to the lengths of all the comparisons !
The way I just got an espresso machine and was trying to figure out how much syrup Starbucks uses. Will probably use this recipe :D
So good-thanks girl!
Thanks for the great video! This is now on my "to do" list :-) I love vanilla!

Sugar and oxygen are a hearty diet for aerobic bacteria.

Just until it cools a bit!
@@ButteredSideUp thanks a lot tho the video was very informational
hi! can i use vanilla essence for this?
I do not have much experience with vanilla essence, but if you enjoy the flavor, it should work here!
The syrup doesn’t look thick though? Is it supposed to be slightly watery?
Did I miss it or you never said how much vanilla extract to use?
1 tbsp (the list is in the description)
