In memoriam: Pilot guy, Sienna
Pilot boi lives on forever in our hearts.
I always love when Weiss uses her glyphs practically. Her slowing the ship down is great!
This really shows how far Adam is willing to go to achieve his goals. Her death really shocked me 😲
Me: "Oh, look, it's Monica Rial's character!"
Me: "....and she's dead...."
I loved that Ariel Battle so much. And I like how Hazel wasn't on board with what Adam was doing. Like yeah he's a bad guy, but he doesn't just want people to die if they don't have to, which I thought was interesting. It's interesting having these villains with different philosophies and opinions, like Watts ragging on Cinder for example lol
I like to believe Pilot Boi is still flying high to this day - looking down on all of us in gratification

This still gets me after all this time, introduction to what could have been a potentially very interesting awesome character with such a badass design, could have brought some more interesting points to the White fang as whole, but then just dead... Like that, gone as quick as we met her, what a shame

I just realised the Headmasters of the Academies are *all* based on the Wizard of Oz. Ozpin (Wizard of Oz, obviously), Ironwood (Tin Woodsman), Lionheart (Cowardly Lion), I guess the last one will be the Scarecrow (or possibly Dorothy).
This Life is Mine is what the song is called that was playing during the Queen Lancer fight Star it's the ABSOLUTE Best Song on the Volume 4 soundtrack hope you listen to the full song some day 😄

Please like so she can see this. Do not play volume 5 from a playlist or anything that automatically shows you the next episode. Rooster teeth made a huge mistake with the thumbnail of episode 13. It is a massive spoiler if you see it before watching all the way to episode 12.

It's been a little while, but they actually mentioned the high leader in the show already back in Volume 4 Episode 1 at the very beginning when Salem dispatched Hazel to meet with the White Fang about getting Sienna Khan in check for their plans. Before this, I always thought that Adam was the leader of the White Fang but it makes more sense from what you discover later that he as just the leader of his particular faction at the time.
I really liked Sienna Kahn, its a shame she got taken out so quick. And how funny you like the pilot! He was gonna let those people die! lol
Man star. Never disappointing us with your thoughts on rwby. Really curious to see what you think of Adam later on. Can't wait to see your reactions for Raven (although got a feeling from Twitter lol). And to see the rest of the volume. And in case you didn't notice that was the first time cinder actually talked since she got messed up by Ruby. And finally R.I.P Sienna Khan, we barely knew her.
"...Yang is looking for Raven, just bad news..." so Yang will be at the same place as Weiss...I'd say that's wonderful news ;)
Adam is a character we love to hate, that’s what makes him a pretty great and cool villain

Some trivia for this episode: the writers were going to make the pilot gay (with some reference to getting home to his husband or something), but decided not to do so because of the "bury your gays" trope in tv and cinema. Good call imho.
There was a dashboard picture of him with a husband and son. It was removed in editing, exactly for the reasons you describe.

Sienna to this day is my favorite character design. She was gone to soon.

Hope the week has been going well
It's been years and I'm still not over Mr. Pilot dying ;-; Honestly upset me way more than RT introducing and then immediately killing Sienna. Mr. Pilot was so smol, so insignificant to the plot - you could've let him live, RT. Let him go home to live happily ever after and nothing about the story would've changed. But noooo >:[
--as it is, I haven chosen to believe that Mr. Pilot woke up and pulled himself from the wreckage then went home. I'm pretty sure RT confirmed him dead but I don't care let me have this.--

or make him annoying hated character to rise the main character ..
