My g-pa had a tractor and bailer which he was always greasing. I remember him using shop rags to wipe off the grease that oozed from joints. Sometimes he'd scoop grease off with a putty knife. He said removing the oozed grease kept the equipment clean. It was my job to carry extra shop rags and a coffee can that he dropped gooey rags into. I do remember him putting the greasy rags into his solvent parts cleaner. We had fun together.

Backhoes are just a joy to take on and off...we have one for our New Holland and we usually put it on for a week or two, do all the digging projects and then take it off.
Yeah, that backhoe attachment hooked up really easy and fast, I like it. Your so right on the grease gun, never can have to many different types. Nice video, I liked it, thanks and have a great evening!!
Put a grease zerk on all the grease tips you use & then all you need is a grease gun with the Lock-N-Lube tip that can attach to all your other grease tips. That's what works for me.
I watched a video where the guy puts ashes from the wood stove into the pond to get rid of the algae. He said that's all he does. 🤷♀️ Just thought I'd share that with you
those attachments for the grease gun look like they come in handy. I will have to get some of them. Great video. Glad to hear the Soler is working out good. Looking forward to seeing the next video.
I would look at getting a rolling cart to have whatever tools I might need right at hand instead of having to go back and forth. Load up that cart with parts and tools for the job at hand. Just a tip. I use one anytime I'm working on anything thats not directly in the garage. Here's what I have. U.S. GENERAL 30 in. 5 Drawer Mechanics Cart, Slate Gray. I use for everything from gardening to working on vehicles.
Do you know what you need to do Evan being that you have two different tractors just leave the backhoe on it stopped taking it off all together. The machine is small enough where you can just swing it to either side and get into small areas.
To get those tight grease fittings off the grease gun, angling the grease gun end that goes onto the grease nipple to a side and then pulling off should do the trick and make it come off easier.
You can get an accessory for your air conditioner to reduce the initial start up requirements for solar situations. Engineer775 has several videos on this.
Thanks for sharing with us Evan. The backhoe went on easily and set up pretty quick. Looks good around there, looking forward to you two fencing more. Stay safe and have fun . Fred.
I own 3 tractors and a skid steer that require regular greasing. One tool that I bought that really makes that task a lot easier is a DeWalt 20V grease gun. I chose the DeWalt simply because I have several other tools that use the same battery.

Do the hook up on a concrete surface if possible. Build yourself a roll around cart for loading and storing the backhoe. Bxpanded has one for my 1025. Slicker than snot
Thanks for sharing your videos. We had a small farm when I was young and now I have a JD 1025r and have solar electric plus geothermal so your videos are very interesting.
Evan, try fitting right angle grease nipples so you don't need to change to your right angle adaptor. A pressure can with just a hand piece may suit you better.
Evan Grease Fittings/Grease Zerks, it really does not matter much. But on your kit with all the extras in it, I would almost bet it is called Grease Fitting assortment, I have never bought a Zerk, they were always called Fittings. I believe the system could be called the Zerk system, as per the inventors name. But as I said does it matter much, not much in my opinion. Of course you could always call them a nipple. LOL
I'm watching You walk across that drive shed in the background, with such a steep grade at the back... It's really going to suck to see Your shed settle in that back corner in the event of a washout and watch multiple videos of You trying to shore it up with I beams and heavy hydralic lift packs. Speaking from experience. Best to bring in loads of clay and dirt and create a more gentle slope and get some equalization pushing against that steep grade
Hey Evan ,that "low-rider" backhoe undercarage just needs a 2"×2" piece of angle iron mounted directly to the frame to become a "Grader". These are such Great Tractors ( the TYM-BRANSON's) but this "low-rider" frame-support mechanism is TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. A Tractor NEEDS GROUND CLEARENCE; with this "System" it is TOTALLY HANDICAPPED! With the Kioti, LS-New-holland,some Mahindra's rigs, ( same size tractors) using this "silly-vacational-school" hop-cobbled system; and they break a lot! The "good news" is LS IS working on a "New-improved " system similar to the Kubota,Massey-Ferguson, & John-Deere "High& Tight" & GOOD-n-Rugged "stream-lined" positive mounting systems. Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

I live off the road a 1/4 mile. There are no utilities back here. I have had it marked several times through the years. They only mark by the ditch next to the road for water and some old phone line. The electric is overhead.
Might be worth investing in a dewalt 20v grease gun for your tractors, especially that you already have the batteries.
Bought a Milwaukee electric, works of my fuel batteries works great, one hand greasing.
My g-pa had a tractor and bailer which he was always greasing. I remember him using shop rags to wipe off the grease that oozed from joints. Sometimes he'd scoop grease off with a putty knife. You can swap out some of those tricky grease zerks for angled ones that point towards the accessible opening so you can attach straight on
I almost did that. But the zerk is down inside a hole.
I could watch that rain on the pond for hours

Sweet Tractor.
Backhoes are just a joy to take on and off...we have one for our New Holland and we usually put it on for a week or two, do all the digging projects and then take it off.
Love to watch the rain move across your pond!
I do like the ducks. They are unique. Always something I enjoy watching❤❤❤

I can dig it!

On a not so sour note... Love the Tractor!
Thanks for sharing with us Evan. Love your channel. God bless.
That's very interesting how the backhoe hooks to the tractor. Not how I thought it worked. But seems like it works pretty good
To get those tight grease fittings off the grease gun, angling the grease gun end that goes onto the grease nipple to a side and then pulling off should do the trick and make it come off easier.
Cool
Evan, you made it all seem so easy.
Excellent video as always
Thanks for giving us all the details...love all your videos...good spring to you both...take care and see you again soon ! Thanks so much....

Very easy to take backhoe on and off I really like that ;)
Nice update!!! Great job on hooking the backhoe up!!!

Get a 90-degree zurk fitting. They are great
Thanks for sharing!
YOU SHOULD look up Hard Start Kit for your HVAC may not need it but it's an option if you should need it 👍
We call them grease nipples in the UK. Great video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Watch that blue Heron, they eat ducklings!! Had one last year that would hunt baby's at night on pond. Every night 1 more missing
Nice video my friend 💚❤💚❤💚❤💚❤🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Evan, about the bridge you tried last year. How about a pontoon style bridge?
Nice video

The best thing about ducks is that they love to eat SLUGS! 🙂
Looking forward to your solar power being delivered to the homestead! Hope you do an overview of the complete (parts and wiring) system!
The top link keeps The backhoe from being pulled off the back of the tractor.
Evan, try fitting right angle grease nipples so you don't need to change to your right angle adaptor. A pressure can with just a hand piece may suit you better.
Maybe tomorrow!
That seems so much more complicated than hooking up the backhoe to my lx2610.
Hey Evan is that a Wal Mart sweat Shirt...I bought 4 of those this winter here in Alabama they were cheap and good quality
I buy most of my sweatshirts at rural king.
Once you get the back hole attachment on the tractor , you better go find Rebekah to operate it. Because load knows you can’t. 😂😂
Herring is a fish. Heron is a bird. 😂
Something to check into a mini excavator the nt30 is a great little peace of equipment and checkout dig it starens on TH-cam has tried it

Hey Evan. Why don't you get a battery operated grease gun. Seen them use one at Hamiltonville farm.
They are about $250. I can hand pump at that price
I never really understood the battery operated grease gun idea....how hard is it to hand pump a grease gun?
How about letting the ducks set on some eggs. ?
We have not seen your dogs in quite some time, are they ok?

He has mentioned that many times and is well aware of the problem....its on his "to do" list.
Look at the clouds RAIN!
Blue Heron is a bird. Herring is a fish.
And if you’re uptown in Harlem Heron, is a drug🤨😂

Naughty naughty you should never go under a tractor with a running motor
Yes, you are correct. I didn't even occur to me when I was doing it. I bet I remember next time.
🌹🌹❤🌹🌹
renting a small trencher would have been better for your yard
Hook up looks incredibly dangerous.
3:24 You shouldn't operate heavy equipment when you're high.
just sing in the rain just saying
called nipples where I come from lol
Herring??lol
Just call them grease nipples.

Guess u don't need to call dig safe,in your state...
Yea, in SC I think it's 811 before you dig & they come mark for you where NOT to dig.

EVAN!! I was cringing the whole time. PLEASE shut off your tractor before you climb Underneath it
I didn't even think about it. Good idea. But the parking brake was set.
