I have the same tractor. Seat modification. 1. Welded another piece of pipe behind the original seat "bolt" pipe mount. Welded pipe to frame at angle support. Gave us approximately 2 1/2 inches back 2. Installed 1 1/2 square tube on the bottom of the seat with multiple holes drilled for finite adjustment. Made a big difference.
Well tony after years of watching you and some other TH-camrs and with great consideration I finally broke down and bought a tractor. I'll be getting it delivered this week and I chose the tym t494 hydro. I'll be honest watching your videos and reviews really helped me with my tractor purchase.
I have the Branson 2515h which I bough late last year. The thing is a beast!! for a 25 horsepower, large frame tractor, I am highly impressed. Glad to see TYM has acquired Branson and kept its originality. Thank you for the fair review.
Looking at buying a Brandon 2615R with the BH 150. Your video is very informative and I noticed that the greater distance behind the tractor to the pivot point is helpful in what my plans are for the machine. Thanks for a realistic video!!
I'm very stuck between the T25 and the 2515 I think either could tackle my projects. Do you have a favorite one vs the other all things considered. Really appreciate your content Tony!
I absolutely love the T25. The 2515 is just a demo and will be going back to TYM soon. I have the T474, so the 2515 doesn't fit us. Between the T25 and the T474k, the T25 is my go to tractor. I use the T474 for the big jobs.
A good quick and easy riser for your seat would be some longer bolts and a couple of lengths of square tubing. Drill the tubing out to mount to the base then drill holes where needed to get the seat back. Quick and easy, and easy to modify to get exactly where you want
That's a nice tractor big frame can't wait for u to put it though its paces 😀 and with the red rims makes it look really good rather than the silver rims awesome stuff as always
Enjoyed this video! I was able to take a close look at Josh's "little T" tractor when visiting the @stoneyridgefarmer and really liked it! Would be super handy for trenching and planting fruit trees!
Hey Tony. That seat was one of the Reasons I steered to the Kioti Platform, I'm as big as you, only Taller. I got the Biggest back Hoe for My DK 4510 and it Fits me well. There is enough Hydraulic power I can drag the Tractor to the hole with the Outriggers down .. Thanks Much. Mike M.
This is the only tractor they have like this. The TYM T474 would be the equivalent to your DK 4510. It is my understanding the backhoes are made by the same company. I looked at a DK4510. Very nice tractor.
Tony, great review. I've been looking at the bigger body also. I'm anxious to see your review on the flail and stump grinder using this tractor. That being said, could you do a future video on which tractor would be best on your farm if you could only have 1 of the 3 tractors. I enjoy your videos, thank you Jim
I really like that tractor and may get one. Luckily I’m a decent weekend welder/fabricator. That seat would be an easy fix with less than 2 feet of 11 gauge 3 inch square tubing.
Hi Tony, You are right, my Branson 2515 is a real beast. It is really over built. I did not buy the backhoe attachment because I could not justify the extra $6000, when I can rent a mini excavator for the onw time in the 48 hours I have on my Branson, and only needed to rent a trencher to install electric to the pole barn. Ron USCG RET MKC
Very nice tractor! I can definitely see how the seat presents difficulty. I assume the whole seat post is fixed, otherwise I would suggest to move that back some, but I'm guessing it can't. An extension that moves the seat post up and back would be good, if they make one. Hopefully that can be worked out. Thank you for sharing Tony! Appreciate you! 👍
I don't think the seat positioning on the back hole would be a deal breaker for me. I have some pretty decent fabrication skills. It would only take a small amount of work to really make this backhoe very comfortable
I am amazed at what 25 hp will do. The tractor is huge, I would think 25 hp would barely be enough to move the tractor around on level ground but you are digging with a 16 inch bucket and there is no noticeable change in engine RPM's.
The TYM 2515 have always been a capable machine. If it came with a cab I'd probably just settle for such a machine, but I love my T474 too. Maybe I should eyeball a 2nd machine with ROPS since I've got a cab already? 🤔
Most people.dont realise but the 2515 has a 24hp motor but the engine itself is actually the same block as the 35 and 45hp..its just been choked down to 25hp to meet emmisions ... So it has 24 hp but alot more displacement then a standard 25hp motor...
The block size is the same. This is true. However, the injector pump has been turned down and the injectors are smaller. The engine could easily be upgraded to 30 horsepower with an injector change. It would avoid the warranty but some people may choose that option.
@@TonysTractorAdventure it would not only need injectors but the cam shaft as well ,,, but this is why this 24hp motor is so strong ,, more displacement then the standard 24hp motorl
Thanks for sharing this video. I’ve been waiting for this one. I’m in the market for a tractor in the near future and the models I’m currently looking at are Kioti CK3510, Mahindra 2638, TYM 3515 or the T374. I’d like it set up similarly to this unit with a 3rd function and a brush grapple. I’m curious to learn more about this unit now that Branson is amalgamated with TYM. I’m also uncertain at this point on tractor horsepower. I’m considering going into the 35-40hp range just to get PTO Hp for clearing brush either with a rotary or flail mower. The brush could be up to 2” in diameter initially. I’d like to purchase a tractor that’s capable of as many functions around the remote cabin as possible. Tony, I’d like to get your thoughts on PTO Hp on this unit to see if it’s enough. The brush mowing is the smallest part of the tractors job out of all the others. If I can get away from the DPF filter, that would be great! Mahindra is on the top of my list as a result of the DPF filter situation. The tractor will be heading to a remote cabin site on the lake that is only accessible by boat in summer and over the lake ice in winter. So a good reliable unit is important! I’d really appreciate your input!
Looks like you’re running wheel spacers in the rear. I’d like to add this backhoes to my 2515 R. Lots of stumps. What is that bsckhoe model #? Would be fun to unbolt that seat post altogether and just affix a quality telescopic office chair in its place.

Have they gotten them in stock yet at Paris? If so i may run up there next weekend and look them over. Really leaning towards the t25, but im gonna wait for your reviews and comparisons between the t25 and the 2515 before i make my purchase. Because when dealing with a 30k+ tractor package, buy once cry once. Some saturday i would love to come up and see them side by side. Last time i was at our dealer, they didnt have the t25 in stock. They did have the one the t25 replaced
@Tony's Tractor Adventure Homestead its all good man, we all get busy. I'll call up there on Monday and talk to them. Have you seen that electric zero turn they got in a few months back? I was there getting some brochures and pricing info on the t25 and the dump trailers when they came rolling it on the showroom floor. Very quiet till they turn on the blades.
i have 2022 TYM t494 and love it. the only issue is TYM does NOT offer a cutting edge for the loader. this is must have on a loader.. DID YOU EVER TRY TO DRILL A LOADER BUCKET OR A CUTTING EDGE!!!!! FMe my starfish is still puckered from that job.. I LOVE THAT TYM MACHINE
I noticed their seat wasn't anywhere near the quality as the tractor, but the cylinders were a lot bigger than my JD 2032R 270 backhoe, and your TYM has more lift capacity. than mine
There is really a lot to like about this tractor. I think with just a few tweaks TYM could have one of the best selling tractors on the market in this frame size.
@@TonysTractorAdventure curious to know what tweaks you’d like to see? I’m HEAVILY considering jumping into this model within the next month or so excited to see you’ll be putting it through its paces, I’ll definitely be following along closely
The backhoe needs attention to the seat and a step. The backhoe takes 20 minutes to remove and replace the 3pt hitch. The tractor is very solid. The backhoe is solid, but the seat is difficult.

I've owned my 2515R shuttle shift for a year. It has done everything I've asked it to do. It'll stand up and get it done, all day everyday.
I have no doubt. I have a lot of videos that are being edited right now on this tractor. I am already impressed with what it can do.
Just got a 2515 with BH. Super Excited!

Thank you for this review, this model might just be the winner if I could get a couple of options onto it.
I have a third function valve on its way. At some point put a rear remote on it.
This tractor looks pretty good. Looking forward to see a 3rd function valve installation vid and what it can do with a grapple.
Nice review Tony. I agree the seat needs modifications. That's a very capable tractor with only a 25hp tractor.
The backhoe seating arrangement is the only real disappointing thing. It is an easy fix.

I have 332h on my T474, no regen. Just keep engine working 1800+ rpm to keep passive regen going.
Great video. Love seeing these TYM's working. How does the power compare to the T25 so far?
The 2515 is just bigger in every way.
Tony is the backhoe seat pedestal on backwards? The T25 has a lot more room.
There is only one way for the pedestal to go
The backhoe seat could swivel to allow the worker get on board... the seat post is back wards, also needs 6 to 8 inches moved back well
