Vince's dunks are just insanely aesthetically pleasing. I think it's because he gets so high that he basically throws them through cleanly, so the way the net moves is just perfect and crisp. So many great dunks and dunkers here, but Vince is just the GOAT.

Just jumping over someone isn’t that great on its own, any time the person being “jumped over” starts with the ball resting on their head, the dunker is using the ball to push themselves up. Gordon “jumped over” Tacko Fall in the same way nate Robinson “jumped over” Dwight Howard.

overrated..it's actually no different from any other dunk from the free throw line... if you can dunk from the free throw line then you have enough hang time to put it through your leg and especially in this case where Zach moved ball thru the legs right after lift off instead of on the way down
It’s still crazy impressive to me that 20+ years later, with all the incredible athletes we’ve seen come into the league, no one has done a 360 windmill against the grain like Vince carter. And other guys have tried it too. Paul George, spida, I think trey Murphy this year too. There’s just something about the full extension for the windmill and the power and height that Carter got that’s just umatched. No one else like that dude.

6:35 the thing that was so impressive about this dunk to me, was the other guy had just done a similar dunk, and Mac saw it and said 'ok, i can do it even BETTER than you' and added an extra half spin. I don't think he had even practiced/planned that one, he just saw the previous dunk and improved it.

Windmills for Vince was just a regular dunk. The guy would routinely windmill in games, windmill off alley-oops, windmill around defenders etc etc.
