Zo Mourning got dunked on pretty hard several times in this video (3 I guess)... But we cannot say he was avoiding contact. He always accepted the 'fight'!
Yup. He was a real fighter who'd rather get on a poster than giving up an easy dunk to an opponent (and to be fair, it wasn't a walk in the part to put him on poster). This mentality is lacking today from so many young superstars.
Really glad you included that Terrence Ross dunk. So underrated, mostly I think because it happens so quickly there's no time to appreciate it. But it's absolutely filthy.
it's cool seeing a timeline like this, you can see how much the game has changed. The old dunks seem a lot more exciting and deserving of all of those replays since there's a crowd around and people are actually dunking on defenders, puts a lot more emphasis on the dunk. The last few dunks don't seem even a little disrespectful, they're docile fast break dunks with lots of open space and one defender that's seeing if they can maybe draw a charge, no attempted defense.
Two impressions here: 1. Scottie Pippen's jump. The higher he gets, the faster he seems to explode upward. Give his dunks a near weightless, rising quality. 2. The teamwork in the 2013 dunk is a thing of absolute beauty.
Pippen was two way beast and new generations can see how good he was.He is player for every generation. He will be a triple double machine in this time.Sorry my English is bad.

@@LANDCRUISERLIFE is that true? I thought so too before. It then gives this another dimension... I think the season before they went less than 20 wins but they still sold out. Just a fun group to watch win or lose.
Lmfao! That Shawn Kemp dunk was so disrespectful and funny af! How he pointed at him after like saying “I got chu” haha
Shawn Kemp's dunk was and still is in my Top 10 favorite dunks of NBA history...
Blake Griffin dunking on Pau Gasol 2 years in a row was just disrespectful.

The second one is the clearest offensive foul I've ever seen.

Kobe’s 2003 reverse dunk is one of my all time favs!! To see somebody display that kind of athleticism at that time was next to none!!!
When I saw that dunk i Was like Kobe chill !
I loved it. That one Kobe had against the Suns in the playoffs, a vicious one hander was crazy too.
PppPp
Avoiding defenders is not disrespectful. Id take Gerald Wallace 2003 dunk
Pippen dunking on Ewing and shoving him to the floor was ruthless. Ewing even stumbled getting up like he just got knocked the eff out 😂
Lol must be weird to be blind and watch TH-cam videos.
Definitely missing DeAndre Jordan's dunk over Brandon Knight. The other glaring omission is Vince Carter's dunk in the Olympics when he teabagged the 7 footer from France.
Or Kevin Johnson over Olajuwon in 1994…

Or breathing.
Which good ol times since even mj got a tech for the finger move in that era
@@ahmadmahmood6986 The Dikembe Mutombo posterizer?
I think technical fouls etc went overboard after Malice in the Palace. When Duncan got ejected for laughing with two techs? All down hill from there.
But like the Shawn Kemp posterizer and the taunt? He would have the tech when he is coming down in to the crouch.
Alonzo Mourning getting dunked on for years
You can‘t taunt anymore?? Oh please

Kemp's dunk is still the most disrespectful of all time😂😂😂😂

Shaq over Dudley in 99 has to be the most soul snatching dunks of all time, he basically 'graped' him mid air
You would say MOURNING got dunked on a lot but….they played DEFENSE then!!!!
After Shawn Kemp the rest of the video is pointless. I love how they taunt after the dunk in some of these and there's no technical foul. It's part of basketball. The current NBA is so soft it's pathetic
What a crybaby
Yeah baby! Into Lister's face! Was an epic dunk with epic commentary.
Let’s be honest Kemp could’ve won every year up to 1997. He was delivering facials on a nightly basis.
You’re tough
th-cam.com/video/0_pXzSh0DEo/w-d-xo.html
KEMP threw down hard on everyone. He has some nasty dunks on Barkley, The Admiral, Mutombo, Carr, Laimbeer, etc, including a crazy left handed dunk on a fast break on Mourning. He jumped like Nique but with the muscle mass of the Mailman. Truly scary.
Steve Francis dunk was nice, but Vince Carter in the Olympics was one of the best dunks EVER so, definitely the most disrespectful of 2000.
Wasn’t an NBA dunk
@@YTTopia The video never specifies NBA dunks. But, I get your point

Give me Kobe’s Spreewell dunk over the Minnesota one in 2003. It was at the height of Kobe’s scoring streak & in the Garden. Spree looked defeated too.

He used to try and block everything, I don't think he cared about being dunked on

vince carter 2006 dunk on alonzo mourning was on another level. one of the brutal posterizer ever..
T. Ross is an Airbender. Straight glided in the air before viscous finish!
Terrence has crazy speed and jumps with amazing ease, love his whole game, so fun to watch.
Watching these old dunks makes me remember how much better the NBA used to be.
Lol keep telling yourself that

True. Brutal.
Nostalgia is a strong drug
Honestly my favorite quote was the first one in '92
"Power jam, tomahawk slam baby!"
it's cool seeing a timeline like this, you can see how much the game has changed.
Also, the old school dunkers didn’t lead use that off arm to shove defenders.
Except for that Edwards one, that one was crazy
I miss defense
Especially since stopping a dunk dead in the air would have the same effect for the defender. That shit is also beautiful to see.

That dunk was so savage. Its like gravity disappear for a second. I lost my shit when i saw it
Ill never forget Kemp pointing after the dunk
Never!! I was 7 when that dunk happened and I still remember running around my house screaming...crazy!
Two impressions here: 1. Scottie Pippen's jump. The higher he gets, the faster he seems to explode upward. Give his dunks a near weightless, rising quality. 2. The teamwork in the 2013 dunk is a thing of absolute beauty.
Yea that shit was insane
@Comedian Cloud no you can't count it's inclusive which means it's 30 years
Pippen was two way beast and new generations can see how good he was.He is player for every generation. He will be a triple double machine in this time.Sorry my English is bad.
Under the circumstances/situation, that Pippen vs Ewing dunk was my all time favorite dunk.. Bulls went on to lose that series, but Pippin dunking over Ewing to extend series toa game 7 in New York without Jordan and then yelling at little cheerleader spike Lee was just too much!
LOL.
Yeah, that and the Infamous Shaq dunk when he pushed him to the floor after...then he threw the ball at Shaq 😂🤣🤣
The 2009 dunk was CRAZYYY
Michael Jordan mocking Morning after he posterized him was and will always be, hilarious!!! 🤣
Mutombo?
It’s Mutombo not Mourning. Mutombo used to finger wag after every block he made - that’s why Jordan finger wagged him back.
Wow after all these years I didn't think jordan was mimicking him, just thought jordan had a little brain fart.lol.. but yea, Zo used to scream like that after dunks.
@@LANDCRUISERLIFE is that true? I thought so too before. It then gives this another dimension... Jordan really didn't just want to win, but go under the skin of his opponents and destroy them psychologically. Yeah he was never afraid like in todays NBA, compilation of his blocks on dunk attempts is longer then this video
Well when you are catching 300+ shots in a season, you'll deal with the odd one that gets through.
Very true. All the great Georgetown bigs who studied under John Thompson were like this. Gotta respect it. Wade's dunk on Anderson Var will forever be my favorite
The 3 funniest dunks in this video has to be the first one… where Kemp dunks it then does the double finger point. And the dunk where Shaq pushes Dudley to the floor after posterizing him. Also Pippen’s dunk over Ewing… the anger on Ewing’s face is priceless! 😂🤣
To be fair, Dudley copped a two big handfulls of Shaq's butt-cheeks prior to getting the dust off!
