This game has a different kind of difficulty compared to sekiro. Sekiro is hard but at least there is a rhythm to the fights. Lies of P has a very akward kind of rhythm to say the least. Bosses and enemies have a lot of really delayed attacks with weird movements that then turn into rapid movement combos which really throws me off since I just got done playing Sekiro. The other thing too, is a lot of the bossed will have consistent combos going non stop with just enough of an open to make you think you have a chance for a charge attack; just for the boss to be like: "Sike! Bitch thought!" 😅 and then slam your ass into oblivion. It's a fun game for sure, but having the small parry widows, no poise, and the very slow animation transition from attacking to blocking/parrying and no animation canceling makes it very punishing if you don't learn the bosses move sets.

So funny thing is I put this exact combo together + that special fire grindstone before watching this except I have more tech than motivity, but still one of my higher damage weapons. I'm still stuck on Andreus, but would it be worth to use a tech crank on this weapon to boost the damage just that little bit futher? Usually I save my fire buff til phase two, but now I'm starting to think I should just speed blitz phase one with this weapon to conserve heals & then play the long game on phase two. I hear that ratchet head is quite sluggish though. One thing I've noticed with most characters in this game is most end up being Slightly Heavy. Why is it so easy to get heavy and sluggish?
The range of the regular light attacks is trash. But the charged attacks do have decent range, can stun/stagger enemies AND bosses easily and you can also often do one or 2 extra fully charged hits after a fatal attack. Even with no buffs for me I can often do 2 or 3 in a row, then the is downed for a fatal attack, then I can do 2 more. Every fully charged hit without any additional buffs does over 1000 damage and then there's the massive damage from a fatal attack. Basically even without a fable attack you can often dish out like 6000-8000 damage before an enemy can even do anything once you get 1 hit in. Of course bosses do often have a bit more stagger resistance, but it's not very hard to get those charged hits in. Big bosses have obvious openings and small bosses are stupid and just rush in the moment you start charging (and with the right distance you smack 'm before they can do anything). As for why it's so easy to get heavy and sluggish... it's because the devs are stupid and completely botched the weight system. I have 30 put into capacity and it's still tough to stay below 60% with 4 amulet slots unless I'm using the +1 amulet that increases weight.
Door guardian was a pain but once I switched to dragon sword it became one of the easiest bosses
