Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm sooooo glad I subscribed to your channel. You have so much knowledge, especially for us beginners! The fact that you are willing to share it with the airbrush community is a blessing!! Cheers from Washington state!!
I would recommend you get an airbrush with Teflon seals…when I used enamels over 10+ years ago I would clean with mineral turpentine , hope that helps 👍🏻
I’m brand new to airbrushing but I do it for miniature painting. Does the rule of over thinning/ 1:1 ratio for paint to thinner still work for acrylic paints as well? Love the videos, just discovered your channel today!
I love all your videos and THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge and I ordered a Iwata Eclipse HP-CS and I'm so happy with its performance. Again, thanks to you Sir, I made a great purchase. 😁
What size need are you using in this vid ? I'm using a black ridge airbrush and it cannot paint thinned paint let alone none thinned Haha. I think the needle in running is a .5 . Also those micro dots you did, very impressive, I can't wait until I can do those.
Actually has a question regarding airbrushing fabrics. I airbrushed a white t-shirt and it was great. Tried on a black t-shirt and it was like the fabric didn't want to accept the paint. So I tried another color and it appeared to only be the case with black? I was using airbrush paint designed for fabric. Any suggestions as to what might have been going on or what to do in the future?
What was the material? 100% cotton? Black "should" take the color like white, red, etc. The fabric is the key, but "shouldn't" keep you from airbrushing it no matter the color.
@@barryallenflash1 The fabric was the same as the white. 100% cotton. I bought two black shirts and the paint would not adhere like it did with the white. It was weird
Whenever I airbrush Black T-Shirts I use the trident tshirt booster first (apply 2 - 3 wet coats, this will seal the fibres and allow for quicker coverage of white to create your base) then heat set it before you begin airbrushing, then draw up your design and once complete re - seal with the Tshirt booster to help with longevity when washing.
Thank you for the great tips from the USA! I have the Iwata HP-CS .35 tip. The Createx Airbrush Colors don't want to spray readily and Createx recommends no ore than 20% reducer. I see you reduced the Trident 1:1. What are your thoughts? Thank you Jeff
Fair enough, Createx is also a great option I like the illustration colors also we sell trident at $14.95 AUD for 50ml (just under 2 oz) feel free to reach out and we can arrange shipping if you are outside of Oz 👍🏻
My trigger finger is constantly moving back and forth whilst keeping the air pressed down , it may not be 100% visible as it’s second nature after 20+ years of airbrushing, thanks for raising the point as it is important to ensure that you are colouring in correctly 😉

which notebook did you use in the presentation?
It's just a A3 Art Pad available from most office supply stores, art stores as well as some dollar stores .

Every time you change directions 180 degrees, the motion stops.
