Fun fact, in Mario Sunshine, before Yoshi returns to the egg, he turns green for a few frames as he disappears
and when Yoshi dies in water he turns green before dissipating.

@@JUJUSJUNLGE Nope, the atmosphere is lacking, the music is lacking, no new enemies, no new bosses. Some switched around levels and gimmicks is not enough to make a game a sequel.
@@Michelle020892 Nintendo would have to make it official, which it won't because it wasn't made by nintendo nor has enough quality to pass off as a sequel to mario sunshine. As I've said before, this is just mario sunshine with some switched around levels and gimmicks with none of the charming atmosphere, no good new music, zero new enemies and zero new bosses.
This game is just some fan made DLC, nothing sequel about this.
Super Mario Sunshine was my most favorite Mario game made me feel like I was on vacation exploring the beautiful world

I just noticed the coins in Starshine Beach Galaxy ARE the coins from Galaxy. Compare the coins at 8:17 (Sunshine) with the ones at 39:12 (Galaxy).

This is honestly fitting because my idea for a Mario Sunshine sequel has always been for the entire game to take place on a cruise ship.

Dude the music for the plane secret level is John Coltrane's "Giant Steps", literally the most chaotic jazz standard lmaoo the guy who did the music is hilarious
haha so glad someone noticed! with such a strange and chaotic level, i wanted the music to match. plus, the stage used to be a LOT harder to complete back when it was being developed. I figured it would only be fitting to have a notoriously tricky standard to go with it ☀️

So glad someone noticed! I always thought the Plane’s and Trains level was kind of chaotic and tricky so I figured arranging this iconically difficult song would fit
I just finished Smurfs Mission Vileaf today and got major Mario Sunshine vibes from it. Makes me want a Mario Sunshine sequel.

I can't wait until the final release of this Sunshine mod! It looks like a lot of fun challenges! Mario 64 gets most of the 3D Mario mods, but glad to see Sunshine getting more attention now!

This is a pretty cool looking rom hack. I like the 1980s style Miami in this game. I wasn’t expecting Galaxy and 3D World content. It’s strange that Rosalina is in this hack instead of Daisy. Also, BN saying “Oh my god.” reminds me of Austin Powers saying it. He should be the next Austin Powers.

it's really something that we may be entering an age where the fans of certain franchises are the ones developing the game(s) instead of the copyright/trademark holder(s).
These are just romhacks. This is not enough to be considered a sequel. I didn't see any levels that looked as good as the ones in Mario Sunshine, no music as catchy, no new enemies and no new bosses. Certainly not going to replace nintendo.
Well, if you want to wait for years for a poorly polished dlc of a 20 year old game... Then yes, you are right.
